I have placed several orders and picked them up. Service is quick and excellent and everyone is very nice. I like looking around the store because they have a lot more than tools. I found a big fan, a utility cart and benches that can convert to a picnic table. I love this store.

I bought a chainsaw here earlier today. Not only am I pleased with the product (a stihl chainsaw), the gentleman that helped me was awesome. Happiest I’ve ever been spending that much money.

I shopped online and got what I wanted. I was sorry that I couldn’t order ship to store and had to pay freight of $98.00 or by a membership for $39.99 to get free shipping and save $59.00. The membership does allow free shipping to home for a year so hopefully it will be useful.

Kind of like harbor freight except they have a lot better stuff if you want it they all have cheap stuff theyre cheap stuff is about the same qualities harbor freight some of the tools were actually exactly the same just a different color

Bought a new chainsaw & while I was completing this purchase was told by a female associate that blades were sharpened free. So dropped off 3 blades. Never once did she mention a charge. When I went back to pick them up a male associate tried to charge me for all 3. The female associate was there so I told the guy that she had said they were free. She came over & when the guy explained what was going on she looked at me and said “oh, you remember I said that huh?” Ahh, yeah, that’s the only reason I used your service. So then she goes on to say only one is free with the coupon that I’d have to pay for the other two even though she told me they’d be free?!? Very poor customer service. Definitely will never be back.

Like this place. One thing that could improve is having stock in the store when the website says its in stock.

Price is good, staff is friendly. It would be a 5 star rating, but it is my first visit to a Northern Tool. So I will review later the quality of the drill bits I purchased.

Three staff members quickly exhausted any list of superlatives in helping me find what I came to the store for and educated me on two of the products while quickly closing out the transaction.

Bought a transfer pump, it didn’t work. Got a replacement, it didn’t work either. Had to order a better one.The assistant manager Melissa and her staff were wonderful, understanding and helpful throughout the entire process. I will definitely shop here more often.Thank you.

Went to get four or five things maybe even more we had a coupon to use also but we got there everything that was in the sale book was sold out all of it its just like in the old days of Christmas they have a TV on the day black Friday and I only have one so thats why everybody was stampeding over other people to get to the one TV they had I dont even think Northern had any of the items that were in the book I would think it twice before making another round with more than

I approached a employee to ask if they sold gloves and was greeted with a what. Please train employees to say how may I assist you and not what. Please work on customer service. The cashier Ashley was great.

I ordered a 20 x 10 commercial canopy because they was sold out when I went in to purchase it. They told me it would take 7 to 10 days. I called after 2 weeks went by they said wasnt in. I called after 3 1/2 went by and they said they had to refund my money because they wasnt getting anymore of them. They came back saying it was put in the computer as a phone order to pick up and not back order like should have been. Sure would have been nice to know they put in wrong in the first place. Now wont be able to find one in time for the price with the coupon used.

Brought a trailer they wrote the wrong price on the title and told me it would b fine ! Went 2 dmv a was told i had 2 have title notarized went back and they gave me the runaround said guy who sold no longer wrkd ther so i needed 2 order replacement title ! Almost 3 months later NO TITLE 😠 just same runaround ! Brought a car 6th of this month got tags a week later and got title in mail within 2 weeks 🤔🤔🤔

Store employee located the item we needed in back and spent the time to dig it out for us.

Went to get some wiring for my trailer, didnt see a junction box so I asked if they had them. Dude said they dont and they are not a wiring store in a condensing way. So I basically told the guy to go f off. I will never go here again, it might be a little bit more money but I will use Croft trailer from now on. At least they know what they are doing and talking about. Ridiculous!

I wish this place was closer to home, as I would love to be able to shop here more often. As it is, this was a special trip for a much needed emergency heater. But, it did the trick!

Northern sent an email saying my order was ready for pick up in store 2 days ago.  I finally got my boss to let me off work early to go get the order picked up.  When I got there I was told the order was not in.  I showed them the email and he shrugged his shoulders and said I need to wait for a phone call.Why would you send an email saying the order was ready?  Why do they have to call?I lost 1.5 hours of overtime pay and used about $15 in fuel to go to the store to discover this!  Not to mention my boss had to work with one less guy and is now upset with me!Cannot tell you how pissed off I am right now!  This will be my last order from your business.

Spent over $2k on Stihl products. Chain saw quit after one day. Took it in to have it looked at. Genius manager started it with the chain guard on and broke it. Didnt say a word. When I picked it up a couple days later, I explained to the store manager what had happened and asked how I go about getting a new chain guard. First, he thought I was lying. The cashier who witnessed it had to co-sign. I finished shopping and had to ask him again what the process of getting a new chain guard entails. He was unbelievably rude and basically told me I was screwed. To the point that I had to walk away before I got physical with the disrespectful a hole. If youre looking for any type of customer service whatsoever, I recommend shopping elsewhere.

During an ice storm I bought a generator in a panic. It was not the model I wanted nor enough watts, but it was all they had at the time. I never opened the box and after they got more models in I tried to return it so I could get a generator that better fit my needs. They would not take it back. I waited a couple of weeks and tried to return it again, but they wouldnt take it. I tried again two weeks later to just trade it for two smaller models that I could lift ( the one I got is too heavy for me to lift) but no dice. Their website says a person can return any unopened item for any reason within 45 days. That sure wasnt the case in my situation. Theyve lost my business.

Run don’t walk from this place as far as small engine service and repair. Sent it in running for a tune up and received it back not running and leaking fuel - then they refused to do anything about it - these people are real dirt bags. Stay away - far far away.

Found what i needed on there web site and showed that it was in stock but when i got there it was nothing like it shows on there web site. It was a waste of my time and gas just to find out it is a 2 piece set and it didnt say anything about it being two different sets to make it a kit like it said on the web site and even had a video of the person putting it all together and not even the video said it is 2 different sets

Website says they have several in stock. I drive 25 minutes to pick it up only to find out they don’t even carry it and would charge me $12 to order it. Hard pass!

Will never purchase from again. Purchased online and was charged our account twice. Called four times and sent a photo of my account twice. Employees including supervisor speak over you, don’t let you speak and have zero customer service training. I was told to stop payment with my bank and call in fraud, but one costs me and the other isn’t true. Be careful! I will never purchase from again!!

Great selection, and competitive prices. They just need more help. I left without making a purchase because of the long line and only one cashier in sloth mode. People shopping for tools have work to do and standing in line doesnt get it done.

Just dropped nearly 3400.00 in this store and they didn’t even bother to offer my husband and I a bag for our smaller items. They did not help nor did they offer to help tie down the compressor we purchased. We paid in cash... and won’t be back.

Wow, what a poorly managed cluster F**K... The one manager (assistant I think) that was actually helpful each time I was in there, I was informed was let go, but no one could tell me why. They have about one useful sales person on the floor, but he only works part time, and I guess their cashiers are only part time as well, because the only one with a decent attitude is seldom there. I really cant believe this store is still in business... I know my business is going elsewhere from now on. Ill just use Feldmans or Tractor Supply...

No problem with this store. Its just smaller than Im used to. So it was a disappointment. Staff was great, prices and products were great too. Just not big.

Well, lets start with the associates. They are rude, and dont feel their job is to help the customers. They dont care about their customer base. You can go in spend $700 and need to return it (unopened and unused) and they refuse to. Wont even exchange for store credit. I would recommend going to harbor freight. They care about their customers. Northern Tool will not be getting our business again.

I purchased a rechargeable spot light several weeks ago. It would not charge and I did not have a receipt...paid cash. I went and talked to two guys who had several pins and badges so I assume they worked there for quite awhile. I told them why I was their and their response was good luck. They actually chuckled about my situation. One actually told me I shouldnt have paid in cash.....I guess Northern dont like that kind of money??? I have spent several thousand dollars for home and business since they came to town. They have lost it all over a $10-$15 tool they sold and was never used. It is sad that Northern Tool would treat a customer like this. Oh well...plenty of other places to do business with. P.S. I left the spot light their.

Let me start by telling you that I didnt need any customer service. I saw the truck box I liked on line and called to confirm it was in stock. Went and picked it up and mounted on their parking lot. It doesnt get much easier.

Wish there is less than one star. Firstly, staff are not friendly and dont know anything other than scanning an item. $1000 dollar item was charged three times to my card and should have been with one year warranty, gone bad in one month then they forced me to pay for technicians since they dont send their own, but they need professional to tell them whats wrong with the unit$$$, done it three times... they say there warranty covers only $200 after all this mess. I wouldnt recommend this business to my worst enemies, be aware of legal scammers

Had an issue with a battery charger, could not find my receipt and the warranty i had would not cover it breaking down within the manufacturers warranty. I called the manufacturer and they wanted me to send it to them under their warranty which always stinks. I went into Northern tool a little perplexed and Steve the assistant manager took great care of me. He looked up my receipt saw that it was still under warranty and gave me a replacement. I purchased an inverter generator, they let me put the oil in while still in store and helped me get it to my truck and then showed me how to work it. Very pleased with the customer service and had a great experience.
