Had a great experience getting my John Deere riding mower repaired. Anthony was very quick to respond, came and picked up my mower, fixed it using John Deere parts, and returned it. It was VERY reasonably priced. It was also very refreshing to see someone who enjoys what they do, while at the same time be very good at it. BTW, I almost never write reviews, but this one is clearly worth it.

HONEST, AFFORDable, QUALITY work. Small family business, repaired a husqvarna mower 26x54in, turn time was 2 days. $65 to diagnose and fix ignition switch.Easy process. Call, drop off or have mower picked up, get estimate, wait 1-2 weeks for repair.The good reviews are accurate, dont waste your time or money elsewhere. I wish I could write more good things but other reviews have summarized the quality and service. Its on a new level, the exact opposite of walmarts customer service. Its good like costco(if youve been)Mower is maybe 2 years old from B&D mower in crittendon only find to it had 87 hours, and we returned for costly ridiculous service. Still under full warranty but will only return to McClures for repair now. Thanks! 💯

I really appreciated Anthonys advice and perspective on my old Toro push mower. After a discussion with Anthony, I ultimately decided it makes more sense to buy new to which he agreed. He explained that he could certainly fix the current issues for me but due to the age of the mower (built in 1997) it is increasingly difficult if not impossible to find replacement parts. If I ever have issues with any of my lawn equipment I will be back to see McClures. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend him to anyone who needs work done to their lawn equipment.

Anthony is the best! Fair, fast and very knowledgeable. He has tuned up my chain saw and weed eater. Replaced the transaxle and serviced my 54” John Deere belly mower. Replaced spindles and the PTO clutch and serviced my 72” zero turn. Just a super guy!!!

My mower stopped working on Friday. My long-time mower repair shop has closed, with the owner retiring. I called McClures Saturday afternoon. and dropped the mowever off around 1pm. It was fixed and ready to go in about 90 minutes. Could not have been easier. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. Cost was $31.80. Help me unload and load the mower in the back of my car. Location is about 10 minutes from my house. Ive got a new go-to mower shop.

I live in Cincinnati and had taken my zero turn to be repaired by a couple of “equipment repair professionals” and each time I got it back, it was the same issues over and over. I did some searching and eventually came across this company and brought my zero turn to them hoping when I got it back I wouldn’t have the same issues anymore. Not only has it been fixed but Anthony also found a few other issues and addressed everything from top to bottom. When I got my zero turn back it was as if it was brand new again. In preparation for winters ice storms and power outages I had to get my generator repaired. I found McClures Equipment Repair and gave him a call. I explained my problem to his wife and she dispatched Anthony to my home the next day for pickup. WOW that was fast. Anthony called the next day telling me the generator was running and the valves were not tightened properly at assembly and he will bring it right back in running condition. WOW that was fast and at a reasonable price. So reasonable that I sent my ATV back with him to tune it up for snow removal as well. Excellent Job Anthony! Although I got bad news about my mower, and ultimately need to buy a new one, Anthony at McClures was great! He was very knowledgeable about mower mechanics. Also, he is a small business that is focused on his work, so his turn-around is super fast. I have taken mowers in the past to 2 different large shops that kept me waiting for weeks. Anthonys average turn-around is days. Above all, he is courteous and professional.

Do you know the horrible feeling when you have to take a mower to the shop, and youre thinking its going to be at least 2 weeks before you get it back? Not the case with Anthony @ McClures. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had me back to mowing within a day. I cant guarantee that quick of a turnaround if parts are needed, but he does a great job at reasonable rates (another hard to find quality). The experience at McClures Equipment Repair was completely satisfying. I called on a Saturday morning to see if I could drop off my mower that wouldnt run. He said to bring it by, and while there we had a brief conversation about the issue. He immediately predicted what was wrong with it and said hed call me in a couple hours when he had it fixed. He let me know in less than two hours that the mower was running and ready for pick up. For the speed of the repair and quick solution, I thought the price was very reasonable. He also contacted me a few days after I had mowed my lawn to ask how it worked. I appreciated the follow up and that he wanted to make sure I was happy with the mowers performance. The mower worked like it did when it was brand new. I would definitely bring my mower to McClures again for any future servicing.

Anthony is a hidden gem of a repairman. I bungled my chainsaw pull cord and gave him a call. He asked me a few questions about how it happened and told me what he thought the problem was. I brought it to his garage, he asked a few more questions and told me that hed take a look. The very next day he called me back and explained that he was able to fix it. I came back to his house, paid for the repair and picked it up. Pull start restored! Anthony was friendly, professional, and incredibly fast. Ill definitely be calling him again for any repair needs in the future. Highly recommended!

Excellent Experience. My Kabota zero turn mower was having some issues running so I googled lawnmower repair and found Anthony. My lawn mower is about 5 years old. It needed maintenance, but I was used to it sputtering, being difficult to start, wobbly wheels. I have only changed the oil but nothing else. I had McClures Equipment Repair do what the owner called a season opener to get it in shape for the summer. He replaced the oil spark plugs etc. but also /adjusted/tightened/tuned everything! Now it runs like new! I cant believe how much easier it is to do my mowing! I will definitely have him service it every year. The owner was also very courteous, friendly, professional

Quick and reliable service. I had a riding lawn mower with a lot of problems. It only took him a few days to repair it and get it back to me. He always kept me updated throughout the process.

I am posting this for a friend who does not have a gmail account. Excellent work on the mower. Within a few hours their crew picked up the mower, got a price quote the next morning, repaired and serviced and returned that night. All within 24 hours and the cost was very reasonable and was also cheaper than others. Many of the places on Google no longer pick up or come to you any more. Which is a shame because we called them all before giving up and widening the search area. Will definitely spread the word.

Contacted them to do some maintenance/repair work on my motor home. Very reasonable hourly rate. He works out of his garage, so MH sat on road while there. Very personable young man. Great at all he did on my unit. No complaints with workmanship. He does have small budget for parts so had to use my debit card for ordering parts. I keep meticulous records and have all invoices from parts ordered except for what he paid for. I have no receipts/invoice for motor oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze and freon. Approximately $250 of products with no proof of purchase. Hence, they get 4 stars vs 5. Will definitely use them again now that I am familiar with there work ethics! This young man does it all! Changed engine oil & filter. Replaced radiator, hoses, and thermostat. Tuned up generator. Removed and replaced maxxair vent. Changed wiper blades and replaced broken sprayer.

Anthony picked up my 5 units that needed repaired the same day I called. Prices were just amazing for the quality service he provides!1) 30 year old Star Wars go-cart with a huge fiberglass body that wouldnt run. Replaced 3hp motors with a 6 1/2hp and slight mod to body to accommodate it. Turned out incredible and fast! Starts on first pull!!!2) 45 craftsman snowblower wouldnt run and chute was broke. Now chute is fixed with only a simple clip and runs perfect! Starts on first pull!!!3) 35 year old Troy Built snowblower wouldnt work. Starts on first pull and runs great!!4) Craftsman power washer would start. Needed needle assembly and wouldnt stop without pulling off the spark plug. Now it runs like new!!! Starts on first pull!!!5) Large John Deere generator, only used a couple times but wouldnt start. Now it runs perfect! Starts on first pull, which it never did.. I always used the plug in electric start but I didnt even need to do that... One pull and it fired up!!!Anthony texted me throughout the repairs to keep me informed. Amazing customer service! Great guy, great service, great and super fast repairs, plus pickup and delivery of 5 good sized items!!!!!Thank you for going way beyond what ANY company would ever do!
