I talked to McKenzie over the phone to reserve a storage unit. She was absolutely the best customer service person I have dealt with in any industry. She was very polite and knowledgeable with what I needed and got my storage unit reserved and taken care of in under 5 minutes. If you need to talk to anybody at storage mart hopefully you get McKenzie.

Janis has been so nice and so helpful. The storage unit I have now is so much better (and cleaner) than what I have had from another name brand company in the past. I was surprised to see how many locations they have all over the country. So, I will definitely recommend them to others.

Today I give StorageMart a three rating because and just because I really needed to get into my unit today, very important matter, and my issued code did not work, not once or twice today but three attempts to no avail and considering my circumstances and plight in life at this time, I am gravely upset anf utterly disappointed. StorageMart should have some sort of manual or digital default system for situations similar to mine and many others. But still, StorageMart is a great and convenient entity to store your belongings. They emphatically are a better choice than, drum roll please; Public Storage, rude, unreasonable there but thats a horse of a different color.

We used the parking for our camper and boat. We had someone messing with our camper, broke multiple cabinet latches and a few tools taken. Someone was staging their items being our camper as well. We noted a wheel barrel and 50 gallon drum. We moved our camper out to prevent more damage and theft. The boat appeared to be untouched and went ahead and let it stay stored. We went to ok the boat out for the season and noted stuff stacked being our boat, a case parked halfway in front of our lot and a cap missing from our propeller. Storage mart does not maintain or monitor the parking storage. I will not use their parking storage again.

We went with another storage facility only because of the location. Our business needed to be a little closer to the interstate and more central for our crews to be able to access easier from the highway.

The unit that I purchased for use was dirty had spider webs all over the entire unit from the ceiling to the floor, it hadn’t even been swept out and the ceiling is all torn through out. I had to sweep, knock down the webs and spray bug solution before I could store my belongings in the unit, it was the only place that had a large enough size that I needed!!! They haven’t done any up of this property or grounds ever, I’ve used storage mart up in north kcmo by Zona Rosa and it’s had always been clean and well kept up. Shop around if you can first or wait for a better storage location!!!

I have used Storage Mart at 3 different locations in Kansas City. All have been good.My most recent experience at this store was very good. Their officepersonnel were very helpful in getting me set up and in taking my payments by phone as I work very odd hours.My goal was downsizing so at the end I took a picture with one of the office people in front of the empty storage to prove to my family that I had achieved my goal. The man from the office was very nice about the picture even tho it was December and pretty cold out.I recommend StorageMart to all my friends and family. I can also recommend it to people who might be trying to downsize.Thanks again StorageMart!

Very clean nice secure place. The only issue I have is I had requested for the weather seal on the outside of my unit be replaced & still 2 weeks later it has not been done & haven’t heard anything from them.

Elizabeth and the crew at Storage Mart are amazing. At one point the wheels on one of the carts needed repairing and it was taken care of within a week. Prior management had been informed of bad wheels and they had never been even looked at i dont think. I fully agree with another review stating they are better than butter.

I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the lot. Yes we did get snow, but they put very little effort into cleaning it. It was a sheet of ice days after. Had it been cleaned properly, this would not have been an issue. Management is not the friendliest either, but not why I chose this location. Climate controlled unit is satisfactory.

The manager Amy was great. Mymove in date was wrong and she fixed it her customer service skills are superb. She really mad my day. I had to rush to work and I was 20 minutes early. This place is worth going out of the way. Im so happy.😀😀

Stored my RV and utility trailer with my ATV in it. 3 months in someone smashed one of the outside storage compartments on my RV. 6 months in they cut the fence and stole my ATV leaving no tracks....hmmmmm..inside job? Well lit, security cameras, safe and peace of mind for all your storage needs, my ass. Your better off leaving your stuff on the side of the road, that way it can be stolen and wont cost you $300.00 a month.

Making the reservation was easy, along with the confirmation, the half months rent is perfect since I am limited on accessing the unit to 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., although being a business customer that runs 24/7 and the advertised 24/7 access capability, it has been denied since an employee lives on site. Upon getting the unit, it was left unswept by the previous tenant. It will be returned the same way upon moving out.

Amazing experience. Jason did a fantastic job of signing me up and helping me out. Some of the climate control units you can drive right up to them--love that! A very easy location--easy in and easy out. Everything about the experience was easy.

My associate was checking out various places to rent short time, one in Independence and one in Johnson County. They ask for a credit card number that they could hold a storage unit if we decided to take it. She told them the owner of the Credit Card would contact them if we decidedto take the unit. I did not because we could not get access 24 hours. They charged both units on my Credit Card. I did not authorize or use the units.They said the boss would contact me. I told them I wanted them off my CREDIT CARD. I have now had to go to the FRAUD UNIT at VISA to getaction. BEWARE DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD. THESE PEOPLEARE DESPERATE FOR BUSINESS.

Its a great place and good people have good customer service great.-----------------------------its been 18 months went to work one day and found out they were going to close and I was out of a Job. decided to move out of state thought I would have to pay for another month being way past the move out deadline. they didnt charge me the extra month. needless to say they still have my 5-Stars

Ive been a customer for over a year and have had no complaints at all. My rental space is dry, and clean, and Ive had no issues with any pests getting inside. The staff have always been helpful and pleasant with any questions or changes of billing Ive had.

My wife carol and I rented a unit from them, The girl at the desk was very helpful and took us around to see a few units till we decided on the size we needed, After getting all the paperwork finish, (which took no time at all ) The manager took the keys from a lock we just bought from them and attached it to our unit and made sure our unit was clean and brought the keys back up front . We both feel secure in the knowledge that our property is very well secured and safe, its been a little over (2) weeks and Ive been back numerous times its perfectly safe and also they make getting in and out of the gates very easy for us .we would keep renting from them as long as needed. thank you, Carol Davies
