These guys are gross, I’d call them scam artists before even considering them mechanics. There are plenty of auto shops here in town, avoid this shop if you are doing more then a simple oil change. I’ve reported this company to the BBB.

Each time i brought my vehicle in I found the owners to be honest and straight forward. They are less expensive then most auto shops but provide better service. Downfall would be that it sometimes takes longer to fix your vehicle because they have a lot of customers ahead of you. Give this small business a try you may be pleasantly surprised!

I had an amazing experience with S & H!! I called around to numerous places trying to get a diagnosis and quotes on repairing my car. Brandon and his wife were very honest with me, diagnosed for free and called me in a very timely manner to inform me of what needed fixed. It wasnt the $900-$2,500 repairs the other shops had quoted me. Instead it was a few hundred bucks. I saved a lot of money and time by going to S & H!! My car is fixed and running great! I highly recommend them! Thank you guys for doing and awesome job!!

I highly recommend these guys! They are honest and good at What they do. My turbo stopped working just north of IF on my way to slc. I had it towed to them and they were able to quickly find the issue which they fixed that same day!

I talked to them a few weeks back about making an appt to get my vehicle checked out and every time Ive called since then Ive only gotten the answering machine and no call back on any messages Ive left. Great service! 👎

Brandon is a fantastic mechanic! I took my car to 3 auto repair shops in Idaho Falls and none of them were able to fix the issue. I took my car to S&H and it only took Brandon a few minutes to fix my car. They are the most affordable place in town and they will always have my business!

Highly recommend this place! Genuine people and great price. I went over to get an estimate on my check engine light. Brandon diagnosed the issue an also noticed a expanding crack in my radiator that was about to become a big problem. They were so friendly and actually ended up transporting me back and forth between my place of stay while it was getting fixed.

These guys took FOREVER to get my engine replaced. 1st engine blew after 3 months!Luckily I purchased warranty insurance when I purchased 1st engine through them at 200.00 extra! Then had hard time getting a replacement engine. Finally after 3 months got another engine, but that one no goo either. After another 3 months got new/rebuilt engine. When I picked up my vehicle, Brandon, the service technician, Co-owner, threw my keys at me, and cussed at me and threw me out. Said never to come there again, after I paid another $400.00, of course. All because I questioned him on this 3rd engine?HORRIBLE experience!

I have dealt with a bunch of Mechanics in Idaho Falls and none of them have the diagnostic skills that Brandon has. He has become a great business partner and all of the customers I send him come back with raving reviews. Very honest and straightforward with pricing and what really needs repaired, understand what a customer for life is.

My car wouldnt start. At all. I checked the battery and the fuel and both looked good. I have automotive repair experience but this was way beyond what I could accomplish in my driveway. I called a friend to help and he suggested S & H Auto and Diesel Repair.I towed my car into their Idaho Falls auto repair facility (for free!) and Brandon Willcoxon welcomed me with open arms and an assurance that he would get to the bottom of my vehicular problems. At first, I was leery... Who hasnt been burned by a shady backyard mechanic at least once in their lives? But there was something about S & H... It was clean. The service manager was clean cut and professional. Their lot was spotless. Cleanliness is one of the very first things I notice when I visit local businesses and S & H most definitely received high marks in the clean shop category.Anyways, back to my car issue. I have a 2002 Ford Focus and it has never acted up until now. Brandon told me that he was going to have a look at it and said hed call me as soon as he figured out what was wrong. And wouldnt you know it? Within 20 minutes of me leaving the repair shop Brandon himself called me on my phone to tell me that the PRNDL (Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, Low) switch in my gear shifter was bad. It was a $35 part and they had it ordered and installed in less than 1 hour. And you know what? My car started without any problems! I was more than ecstatic!These guys are awesome. I highly recommend S & H Auto and Diesel Repair in Idaho Falls when you have a problem with your car. Make sure to ask for Brandon.

I backed out of my driveway and turned a little too sharp before I was fully in the street. The curb caught the bottom of my front bumper and completely tore it off. I took my car in to see Brandon and Stormi and they had my bumper mounted back on my car in a matter of minutes. I would recommend using S&H Auto & Diesel Repair to anyone living in Idaho Falls!!

I would give this place -5 stars if I could. I called to make sure I had the right address for them. Before I could even ask about my car the man on the phone told me to go F*** myself and hung up. What kind of business operates this way?

Some how my daughters pass word is being used here, but my name is Peter Wiegman w/ Wiegman Concrete in Inkom/ Pocatello Idaho. I just rescently dealt with S&H, and felt the need to write a review on them. They went over and above what they needed to do for me. I had to bring a work truck to them all the way from Pocatello, because the most reputable exhaust company that everyone recommended down here couldnt fix the exhaust on my truck. No exaggeration, the Pocatello company had charged me over $3000.00 to get a new manifold, and muffler..........redone twice....yet doing me afavor. I knew I was being used and abused. In the end, all of that money and time was wasted, because I still had a truck that had an exhaust leak, and sounded like a 747 jet going down the road....the kind that scares customers. Desperate, annoyed, and frustrated, I looked up S&H, and decided to take it to them. They were very kind over the phone, and while talking to them they immediately put me as ease with their knowledge of my particular truck. They ended up having to re-do everything the last shop had installed. Gave me a warranty, and did it for literally a fraction what the Pocatello shop charged me...$700 - $800. What really sets them apart from any repair shop I have ever seen was Brandon kept my truck for a little over a week, and drove it to make sure it was ok..I asked him to do that...AWESOME, He wouldnt take extra for his extra efforts either......I am very impressed. They are what repair shops should be. Thankyou S&H

Told me car would be done on a Friday. Friday came they said Monday. Monday came they said they had the wrong diagnosis and the new part would be in Wednesday. Wednesday they said they got the wrong part in so it would be a few more days. Hung up on employee as to not freaking out omore them. Recieved a call from owner a few minutes later to tell me they are refusing to do the work and continued to chew me out over hanging up on the enployee. Owner told me I had to remove the car from the lot that day I said ok that was fine. Called back to ask if I could have a tow truck come and get it and was told that was fine. Recieved another call from the owner stating I have to pay a 45 dollar tow fee to them before removing the car from their lot. Terrible experience terrible level of professionalism on the part of the owner by calling to chew out a customer. I will never suggest this place to my worst enemy
