Performance hall that has just experienced a major renovation. Since the renovation the acoustics are improved. It is where the local symphony and the youth symphony perform. They regularly schedule other events throughout the year. Great addition to the Idaho Falls area!

Wonderful performance. Audience interaction was great and at times unexpected. We sat behind the sound booth which impeded our view somewhat.

The main bathrooms are NOT wheelchair accessible. However, Im not in a wheelchair and Im good with that. The seats are okay as the fabric is thickweaved and retains body heat just fine. I came to see Brian Regan. Hes a comedian. But, back to the seats. Mine was pretty nice. Actually, I want to talk about the drinking Im going to do after the show. I bought Miller Lite, Huckleberry Cream Ale, and vodka. Im thinking about having a few red beers at first and then a few bloody Marys after that. And then, who knows where the night will go. Hopefully, Ill have a good time. Ill be drinking at home so I wont have to worry about taking a cab anywhere. Its always nice to know that I wont be getting a DUI when I drink at home. Ill probably play Batman Arkham City on PS3 at some point during the night. Come to think of it, I probably wont. My wife just read this review. She said I am a spaz. I dont really know if Im as much of a spaz as she thinks I am. Its not like Im going to make an a** of myself here tonight. After all, were pretty far back in the auditorium. There is a lady sitting next to me who told her husband that she almost came to the show in her scrubs. I wonder what she does for work? Maybe she is a nurse. Maybe shes a CPA. Wait... CPAs dont wear scrubs, do they? Oh well, she does smell good, however. I like her perfume.

The Civic is a foundation facility for our community. Ive been attending events, concerts and recitals there since I was a kid. Its a great facility, but for whatever reason its not being kept up like it should be. It could use new carpet and new paint.

We just saw the Forgotten Christmas Carols, fantastic play, loved the music and it would have been an all around nice evening HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE TERRIBLE FACILITY! WILL never GO BACK! Horrible Horrible facility! It is filthy! The New seats are so small. No room whatsoever for you feet. The person behind me laughing and it sounded like he was right over my shoulder, yes... the seats really are that small. I am on 58 and I was so uncomfortable the entire time. Save your money and never go there, it was terrible. Trust me, it was a horrible experience. Will NEVER go back!!!

Great place for shows! Its in the heart of Idaho Falls and has great visibility no matter where youre seated. Its older, but gets the job done. Christmas concerts are great here. You can go to the chamber of commerce website to take a look at what plays or concerts are coming up and how to get tickets. The billboard will also snow whats coming as well if you happen to drive by.

This place is always an enjoyment to be at. Ive been to two concerts, and three graduations!!! Its easy to navigate chairs, there is wheelchair accessible entrance, and its always nice. Vendors decorate for concerts, and the schools decorate for graduation. Lots of parking as well! All in all this is a great Center!

The only reason I wouldnt give five stars would be the small seating and the lack of advertising for events. I always enjoy shows and events here, but a lot of the time I only hear of them the day before from the board outside the building. The seating is small and I have some much husker and some elderly friends, who cant sit in these seats comfortably for the duration of a show. An update in seating may benefit all who wish to watch.

I went to the Wicked Divas concert with my wife here this month and I thought the concert was great, but the venue not so much. From the balcony seats where we were seated, it was hard to see the whole stage and performance, even though there werent any tall people infront of us. Also, it got really hot in there, so Im not sure if the AC wasnt working properly or they were just trying to save on their electric bill.

I recently went to a concert here. The seats were not the best, they were super old and stained. The whole place needs to be reorganized. They should include large projectors for people sitting in the way back. The people who worked there were nice!

Auditorium itself is nice but events there are sometimes a struggle. Last dance recital they closed off the balcony leaving many parents standing around instead of being seated to watch. Not sure if that is due to dance academies or no where to put dancers in off-stage rooms.

The event we went to see here was way over crowded but it was a wonderful experience although the building is outdated and does not have the facilities to support the numbers of people that are drawn to the events here it was still a good time just be ready to Wade across the lobby you getting into the theatre finally then having a seat and also again waiting across the lobby to get to the restroom where you actually will wait in line for a while.
