I believed my home in Ammon, ID could have unacceptably high levels of radon gas. I contacted Healthy Home Environmental Services (HHES) to obtain their opinion as to what I should do. They responded rapidly to my inquiry and verbally gave me information as to their approach to mitigate the radon threat. Their approach made sense to me and I asked for more information as to exactly what changes HHES would make to my home. HHES gave me details as to what changes would be made along with the approximate cost and schedule. The approximate cost and relatively quick installation of the mitigation system was attractive. HHES showed me pictures of typical mitigation systems they had installed and invited me to see an installation which was located a short distance away.It was clear from my interactions with HHES that they were very knowledgeable about radon mitigation, they were cost competitive, and they were proud of their high level of customer satisfaction. Without hesitation, I made the decision that HHES would be the company to perform my radon mitigation.Within a few days HHES made radon measurements to determine the level of my radon problem, and selected the best location to install their mitigation system. HHES installed the system within 1 day and within a few hours of operation the radon level dropped to near zero which greatly exceeded my expectations.Working with HHES was a pleasure. The personnel were very friendly and exceptionally efficient. Great care was given to keeping my home clean during the installation and making sure the mitigation system did not detract from the internal and external appearance of the home.The performance of HHES during the entire time I dealt with them was outstanding. These guys are great.I was in the process of closing on the sale of my home when the buyer’s inspector spotted some potential microbial growth in an attic space which he wasn’t able to fully access. Healthy Home Environmental did a fantastic job of removing our vinyl flooring in the kitchen. They were on time, professional, and honored the original quote even when the job ended up being more extensive than planned. The othercontractors we called when shopping around were not nearly as responsive. These guys made it so I could still get the new floor in for my wifes Christmas present even with the surprise asbestos finding. Asbestos can be in more places than you would ever expect, but HealthyHome Environmental saved Christmas for us this year!
