When you walk in the last chair on the right guy cut my son hair a big guy. I was Angry and upset the guy in the first chair on your left he snap into action spoke to the manager Norman. He gave great advice on scalp care and offer a free cut next time around.Sad part is I think guy who messed up his hair took advantage because he saw 2 young kids by them self.

This was my first time going to a barber shop to get my hair cut as I have always gone to a hair salon. I was greeted upon entering the shop. The location is clean and the employees were nice. Derrick was my barber and he was GREAT. I highly recommend Ebony Barbers.

I had my first cut with Noland Mathews and I never knew my hair could look so good! Professional to the max! and definitely would recommend his impeccable quality! Thank you King! I definitely will be returning as soon as it’s time for my next cut!

Showed up 45 minutes before closure, plenary of time for a haircut, nothing crazy. I informed the receptionist that I did not have an appointment. She told me they were done for the evening. I pointed out that they were open for another 45 minutes and I could see at least two available Barbers and one person almost completed. Everybody looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I could not understand the business practice of closing almost a full hour early on a Saturday. I guess posted business hours are not business hours. The Senior Barber said NO. I asked the 1 Barber who kept looking at me but did not answer. I asked him too to confirm whether he was also a NO. He said that receptionist spoke for everyone. I felt ashamed at the treatment of people like this especially since the establishment seems to be black operated. I guess having a white receptionist means that you treat people like your own like💩, loosing a potential customer and any positive reviews. 🤔. Worst experience of my life. Worst Customer Service. Yo this is the worst service I ever got! I had to come here cause my current barber was in the hospital. The barber here butchered my hairline!!! He was rude, acted like he knew what I wanted, and was careless about how he cut my hair. Not saying all the barbers here are not good, but beware of walking in and selecting a random barber, you might get the guy I got! $40!!!! Man he still in school!!

I went here and had no wait time at all. The place was busy too. I give a five star for the cut but my barber was not particularly attentive. He was looking and his phone and texting when he was cutting my hair and did not start a conversation at all with me. Over all the experience was good.

Great Barbers, clean shop, easy location to find, and professional staff. The barbers are fast and efficient. Due to covid, youre advised to wait outside, or in your car until your appointment time. Definitely worth the trip and the price!

I went to get my haircut and the charge for a beard trim and haircut was $40 dollars I was so disappointed when I left the guys can cut hair but the prices are a little steep I fill they should be more sensitive to the guest especially after this pandemic

I love Black Own businesses with a passion. This place is great professional, clean, and speedy. I forgot the only lady who works there (please list her name and contact information if you know it) but she gave me the best color and cut of my life. I was completely satisfied with my appearance. Only downfall is they are a bit more expensive than other barbershops around them but you also pay for wonderful quality. I recently had a son and will most definitely bring him here when he gets older I think in the way they treated the other little children which was gentle and kind made me feel comfortable to bring my son here in the future keep up the good work guys.

I got a tape and beard trim outline and they charged me for a haircut. my hair was not. the line up was not even that clean.

My issue with this barbershop are their prices. Absolutely, ridiculously expensive considering the fact that they do not provide any other additional services outside of a traditional haircut. I went in one time for a low temple fade, the barber didn’t even cut any off my top nor did he touch my beard, just the sides alone and it was $25?! And he was asking for a tip. He spent 15 minutes to do a simple haircut. Another time I went in for someone to tape the back of my head since I had already done the front and it was $12, ridiculous. I’ve even seen other customers with basic haircuts being asked for $30 which also left them confused. It’s sad, especially since it’s a black-focused establishment that they did this to their prices. Their prices weren’t always like this over the years but they’ve steadily increased it with no improvement in service or additional options for customers. There’s no reason why someone who gets a full haircut(no beard) should be paying $30 and to be asked for gratuity.I suggest using the barbershops by the movies across the street, much cheaper and reasonable. A full haircut+tape is typically $20.00 for them.

Great location since its at the mall. The barbers I have used so far are great at what they do. They should whoever change the way they address people sometimes, I dont know if its the tone, attitude or style of talking.

Well it was my first time in in there about 3 weeks ago. I was a walk in and was pleasantly surprised at how kind my barber was to get me right into the chair. He did a great job with my cut and color but, what grasp my attention the most was the consistency of the cuts from all the barbers. I would def go back and be comfortable with either barber working on my head which speaks volumes.

I just received a haircut from Noland. This was the worst haircut that I ever had. He rushed my haircut finishing after 15 minutes. He did not make sure that the haircut was even all over and my shape up was so uneven that I contemplated not even paying. He should have been completely embarrassed to even give this type of haircut. Moreover, he spent more time looking at his cell phone and the television than actually focusing on my haircut.The haircuts that you all give represent your brand. If any of your barbers give a bad haircut, it reflects badly on everyone and the entire business. There is no barber who should be rushing through a haircut so that they can watch a Hot 97 Interview on their cell phone or messing up the shape-up so bad that the customer has to contemplate whether they should go into work the next day.This is literally the worst place and I am never going back there to get my haircut.

First one was good, second one I felt scammed. Watch out for the guy that speaks Vietnamese, like 3rd or 4th chair on left wall. You can be specific about what services you want, but he will con you as if hes taking care of you and next thing you know you owe $35 when all you asked for was a $20 haircut. Hes real slick...

When i started bringing my son to this barber shop he had a set barber. He soon cut back on his hours, which really didnt fit into my availability. I still take my son. He doesnthave a barber. We do walk ins, we never have to wait. All the barbers are super professional. And they all truly do an amazing job.

I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve been there over the years except the last couple of times. The first barber on the left cut my hair & he was eating & on his phone literally the entire time. Was focusing on everything but his job.. He wasn’t respectful of others time then had the nerve to look at me crazy because I didn’t leave a tip for an “OK” haircut that took well over an hour.

After having the same barber for many years. I finally decided to step out on faith and find a new barber. Reggie at Ebony Barbershop, made my experience great! Nice detailed work!! Ill definitely return in 2 weeks!

I had an emergency and I just wanted to get a shape up and trim I waited for at least half an hour. Yes it was busy but when two of the barbers were done they wanted to pass one to someone else thats still busy...I walked out of there without getting my hair done and still looking like a mess! They need to treat every customer as equal and not pick and choose!! And being from Australia visiting it wasnt a good experience especially being very keen to get my hair done by them.....

This establishment was not customer service oriented at all. As a new customer who was trying out a new barbershop, i wasnt greeted at the front desk. After 10 minutes I had to walk up to a barber and ask him was there a sign in sheet for new customers. He said No just have a seat and someone will come to you. After 15 min a barber asked if there was anyone was next. I raised my hand and expressed that I was a walk in and didnt have an appointment. The barber replied Im going to have to pass and let another barber take you. He didnt state why he had to pass me up. I sat there for another 15 min while he took another client. I felt so uncomfortable after this experience.

I will definitely be a frequent customer at Ebony Barbers. My best cut in a long while. I have finally found my spot! Chase does a great job!

I came here with an appointment and I was seated very quickly nobody was there so thats the good thing, overall the guy was pretty cool and had good customer service BUT hes a licensed barber and he cant line up at all, he messed up my beard and I told him how I wanted it, he left it looking so uneven the left side and right side have different beard patterns I have to take it to another barber so he could try and fix it. I was really disappointed since I seen good reviews also I told to trim a little from my hair and he cut it way way to short, will not be coming back. I came here and paid my money for a service and it wasnt good :/

Clean barbershop, friendly people but did not get the cut I asked for. I know how I want my hair cut. I dont want you to cut me how you think I should get cut. Just give me what I ask for. I got my head jacked up then was charged 32 dollars for the cut. I will never go back again.

I was getting my haircut for almost 2hrs because the barber was paying attention everything else but me. Then he made a mistake and tried to cover it up by adding some paint. Dont go there if want a good cut.

Mother Inlaw recieved a terrible line up. Not happy. Will never come back. Barber just wanted to get to the next client. Barber nevertheless introduced himself so we did not receive his name but he had a Rosta look. He became very RUDE and LOUD When I asked him to correct her line up. I would give him a no star.

Horrible. I dont know how an adult haircut doesnt include any facial attention. What grown man has no facial hair? Im not paying $26 for an entire haircut. I asked for a fade and got a caesar. Im underwhelmed and disinclined to return.
