The shop turned me down when I wanted a pair of Rough Country Vertex Coilovers installed. Look, I’m VERY aware BDS/Fox, Fabtech/Dirt Logic, King, Pro Comp etc. make better quality kits. However, I bought my truck with 80k miles on it and don’t do much off roading therefore settled for a Rough Country kit as it wasn’t necessary to spend 3k+ on suspension. It’s been on 3 years and I’ve had zero issues. Sure, you get the occasional stiff/rough ride but I mean it’s a lifted truck with 35” 10ply tires. Look, I’m not trying to bash this company because I can tell they do quality work. However, I felt the conversation wasn’t very professional. I live right beside the shop, I plan to do multiple other mods to my truck but the way the conversation went has soured me away. In my honest opinion I do think this company should look back into Rough Country as they have since updated their products. Again, I’m not bashing the company but a project as simple as changing my struts out to coil overs that I purchased and was willing to pay to be done was turned down kind of blew my mind.

Awesome customer service from Susie. Excellent workmanship. In at 8 a.m. for Linex spray-in bedliner and out before noon. The bedliner looks fantastic. Better than previous experiences with other spray-in bed liners from other dealers.

I have used Custom Trucks for all of my accessories since 2003 and today they showed why it’s the only place to go for accessories and service.I had a leak in my tonneau cover and a very unplanned trip coming up - John and his team got me in the very next morning and fixed the issue and had me safely (with a dry bed!) on my way. With their products and personal service- absolutely no better place to have work done on your truck!

This is an edit to the first review. Again the bed liner looks great. I had noticed the tie down caps had been sprayed over and I thought this was a mistake. I received a call from management explaining why it was done and an offer to help with the tie down points. Like I said before the liner itself is amazing and I was able to get an appointment fast and it was done same day. The only thing I would have different was the explanation about the tie down caps before hand.

Very disappointed in the service I didnt receive. I came into the shop and was greeted by John. He was very polite and showed me all of their products. After picking everything out that I wanted for my truck, he totaled everything up which came to over $3K. No problem I informed him I was ready to go and he could start the order. John later informed me that he could not get the cover I wanted for my truck bed. It was not in stock and he couldnt guarantee he could get it in. So I went with the more expensive model. He figured up the pricing and gave me a new quote. We shook on it. I was not given a written quote when I left. John later calls me and says he messed up on the pricing and it was unfortunately going to be more. I said, I want an out the door price for everything. He said ok and gave me the new quote. I said ok but before I could hang up the phone he added an additional $400 on the price tag for labor and taxes! My frustration was beginning to set in because I was already paying over 3K and this was now the 5th time the price changed. I asked John to go over my order and make sure he had the final price. As he retotaled my order he again quoted me a different price (it was at least $200 less than what he quoted me 5 minutes earlier). We both agreed on the price. 2 weeks go by while Im waiting for a call from John to bring my truck in so they can get started. I get a call and its John asking me which bed cover for my truck I wanted. Since he was asking me I thought why not see if he had the cover I originally wanted. Low and behold he reluctantly said he could get it. Since this model was cheaper than the other I figured I would get a cheaper quote. John mentioned nothing about refiguring the quote and giving me the new price. He said he would get started. After finding out that he was just getting started and he didnt requote me the price for the different product, I decided I had enough and went to their competitor H&H Truck. They gave me a printed quote and I got everything I wanted. Great professional service from H&H Truck!

Called John on the 25th because he was recommended to me by a friend, told him exactly what I had & had done to my vehicle, he said they could do the alignment on it & we scheduled for today, came in today a little earlier than we discussed to drop it off for the day, I asked the lady at the counter to speak with him when I arrived & she pointed me in his direction, he was talking to a Tech. so I waited for him to finish then walked up & asked if he was John to which he replied Yes, I stuck out my hand to introduce myself & told him I had talked to him last week about an alignment & he stands there while Im talking but completely ignored my hand & just rudely walks away without a word, he then walks up to another customer that seemed like he was extremely upset & discussed that customers issue, I realized what was going on so I ignored the fact I was ignored & patiently waited, around 10 or 15 minutes ago by & he finally looks up at me & said hell be right with me, I told him to take his time, another 10 or so minutes go by & he asks the lady at the counter to take my information & proceed with my order, I explain to her what I needed done then she asks if I would mind going over what I wanted with the Tech., as Im going over everything with the Tech. he tells me that he doesnt believe they can do the alignment, asks me for my keys to see & sure enough they wouldnt be able to do it as their alignment rack cant accommodate for my vehicle, so I wasted an hour & thirty minutes of my time even though I told John exactly what vehicle I have, what I had done, & what I needed done a week before, if John doesnt know his equipment he could have simply had me talk to the Tech. instead of wasting my time & I could have easily went somewhere else

Their installation team did a great job installing a bumper I had fabricated for my 4Runner. Working with Susie was a breeze and they allowed me to ship the bumper to the store directly, which saved me the hassle of having to set up a frieght delivery to my house. I will be returning to them for the next work I need done!

Really good guys out there. I payed for my bed cover and they had to order it, but it was put on 5 days later when it came in. They installed it and even added a little extra weather proofing that helps keep out the water.

I recently bought a new Ram 1500 and wanted to put tonneau cover on the bed. My previous truck (2004 Titan) had a hard shell fiberglass Leer tonneau and Custom Trucks had replaced the latches on it for me and installed an LED light in the top last year. That good experience led me back to them for my new Leer Trilogy X2T trifold for the Ram, which they had in stock.When I got home I realized the cover had a scratch on the top (much like a box cutter blade had accidentally nicked it...probably from opening the packaging) so I called Diane. Long story short, they ordered me a new one and made it right. So happy with their customer service. As far as scheduling, I didnt have much of a problem. Dropped off the truck in the morning and went back at lunch and it was done. They even called to let me know. Great service and they truly know their products.

We ordered a tonneau cover for our new Ford truck. They did not do the kind of quality job we expected from a business that has been around so long. The paint to match fiberglass tonneau took 3 weeks to come in. It was supposedly scratched when it came in and they had to have it repainted before they could install it. It had bubbles in the clear coat after they installed it and we had to return to have them buffed out. The bracket system looks like a 5yr old installed it. It has extra holes they drilled in it upon install. The stoppers on the bracket system are crooked on both sides because someone couldnt drill holes evenly. The latch cover on the rear has a rubber type decal/name plate that is scraped like it had been drug on the ground. And it still has a small chip in the paint towards the front on the driver side.We scheduled them to do a 2 leveling kit on the front suspension. They had the truck all day and when we picked it up at 4:30 we discovered a horrible noise from the suspension. Since it was so late we had to return the next day and make arrangements to leave the truck again to figure out what went wrong. Well apparently they had to take the vehicle to Firestone for alignment. Not sure if it happened there or at their shop but 2 of the rims came back with gouges in them. They fixed the suspension noise the 2nd time but when we pointed out to the owner that our new truck with less than 3000 miles on it had damage to the rims, he offered to only pay for half the repair. We didnt want to patch the rims on a new truck - we wanted them resurfaced like new. Sorry this was unacceptable. We would never recommend Custom Trucks to anyone if they wont stand behind the quality of their work.
