Haircut felt rushed didn’t really make an effort to make the cut look nice. Nobody was wearing any masks. Didn’t take any of the customers Health in concern. Wouldn’t recommend if looking for a safe environment during Covid

Excellent Mom and Pop baber place. All the ladies there were very tentative to the customers. When I first got inside, I noticed they asked their clients lots of questions about their hair and they worked slowly and kept asking questions to make sure they’re getting it right the first time. I haven’t seen that in awhile since most places just asked you a couple of questions and they went into town with that information. The lady that cut my hair did the same thing, asking lots of questions through out the cut. Got a great hair cut and was very satisfied. The price is also affordable. Highly recommend this place! I’m glad I gave it a try since I’ve had snow cones right next to the shop through out the summer and was curious about it. Thank you ladies for a great experience.

I had the same person cut my hair for 4 years, so I was worried when I had to find a decent haircut place in Huntsville. I have came here twice to two absolutely amazing haircuts. Gave me exactly what I wanted even when I had no idea how to explain it. Super friendly and informative. 10/10. Great price as well!

The first time I got my hair cut here, I was hesitant. I had gotten my hair cut in Houston my whole life and the few years before college at a Salon.I hated having to drive back just for a haircut so I tried this other place in Huntsville and after I told them what I wanted, he flat out buzzed my hair. It was terrible. But one of my friends convinced me to try out this barber shop and Ive been back every time I needed a hair cut from then on.When I walked in, it was a friendly and warm place that made it seem more like what it was advertised as (barber shop) and less like a salon or hair cut place. Way more personal. I sat in the chair and said what I wanted and it was very arbitrary and not very clear. But the lady cutting my hair walked me through what I said to make sure I got what I wanted. She would stop every so often to ensure I liked what she was doing and they love hearing what you have to say.I used to say I liked a haircut even if I didnt. But now I cant. If I dont like it, the wonderful ladies at the barber shop are patient and ask what it is you want them to change.Reasonably priced and much better priced than the salon I used to go to. Plus they give me a better haircut than the salon did too.

Overall, I had a really good experience my first time visit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on how they can help you, and explain how they will approach your hair. Gary was my barber and was very straightforward with not only explaining how he will shape it, but he also point out that the last place missed a clump of hair on my head! Its good to meet someone honest and knows what hes doing so that pretty much sealed the deal. I will be coming back again!

Ive read the previous review, and may I say I completely disagree. The Fairway Barber Shop is a great place to get your hair cut. The poeple always come out looking amazing, and it is very community based. The barbers are very nice and easy to talk to. I have grown up in that barber shop and have never seen otherwise. People will come to Fairway Barber Shop just to have a visit. The people that work there and their customers act as a family. As i said before, they always come out looking awesome.

Overall, very nice place. Not entirely sure If they know how to fade. The staff was very friendly and fun to talk to. Although, I asked for a little off the top and a low tapered fade, and was disappointed in both categories. I didnt get a fade like I asked for I got just a normal 3, and the barber cut WAY to much off the top. If you have kids or have little to no hair recommended greatly.

I grew up in Huntsville. Pete cut my hair my whole young life. He has since given 3 of my 4 kids their first haircut. My fourth is due for her first cut and I’ll travel from Katy,TX up to Huntsville to let him do it.

Worst haircut experience of my life. I came in asked to be cleaned up and to have my beard LINED UP not have half of it shaved on one side. Debbie needs to learn better fading techniques. Extremely disappointed with my haircut never returning again.

Great haircuts, friendly service. The only complaint I would have is there is no licensed barber so they are not able to do anything with the beard other than pass the clippers through it.
