This company towed a vehicle to my repair lot and upon leaving, the tow truck driver hit another vehicle on my lot. I have a witness that saw and heard him hit my customers car. I immediately tried to call company and the driver Tim answered the phone and denied everything. I just asked for his companies insurance information so I could give it to my customer. He told me no. 30 minutes later the driver calls and says he wants to see the damage and comes back to look at it. At this time he tells me and my service manager that ... Yes, I guess I hit it on the way out and gives me the insurance info for the company. The next day I get a call from the owner of Reliable Towing and he denies everything. I tell him that I have a witness that saw him hit it and 2 witnesses that heard him say he hit it. The owner still denied everything. They are anything BUT Reliable.....

The driver, Fred, is by far the best tow truck operator Ive ever seen. He handled that giant flat bed crazy smooth. I thought my car was going to drop, with no other way around it. But man, he did it. Great guy, respectful, on time, professional, all of it. Bravo man. (Give this man a raise yall lol)

The people here were really nice. Last I checked google says they open at 9am but they are 24hrs. So if your car gets impounded at night you can still go get it when you get out. Even the police/sheriffs dont know this. But I assure you they are open 24hrs as of 02/26/2020.

Do not recommend. My truck died in my driveway and I called my insurance roadside assistance service (March 21). They got me in contact with Reliable Towing and gave me an estimated time of arrival. About 2 hours beyond the arrival time the driver: shows up, loads the truck, hits our gate, takes out our neighbors mailbox, tries to drop my truck off at the wrong place, doesnt even load it fully back on the rig to take it to the correct place, and immediately leaves. I called Reliable Towing to figure out how to get my neighbor a new mailbox. Woman who picks up is rude and says it is not her problem, but the individual drivers. 3 weeks later, the driver calls me to tell me he was laid off. I called Reliable again and was told to buzz off and call back during business hours. (I called at 5pm). Called again a week later and finally spoke to a manager who told me that the driver in question had in fact not been laid off, and the manager would take care of it (April 10- this phone call was recorded and I have the audio file). On April 12th, I get a call from the driver, who is upset that the money for the new mailbox had been taken out of his pay. I called the office again (April 25) as the neighbor still has no mailbox and I have not heard from anyone. Receptionist said someone would call me back.Update: Called the owner, Bob, on Friday June 12th and left another voicemail. No response. Called the main number today June 15th and spoke to a receptionist who told me Bob was out of town; she then hung up on me. Called and left another voicemail June 29th with no response. Follow up voicemail with no response on August 7th. I conacted the driver who hit the mailbox (via text message) to ask why no one was getting back to me; he send back Maam Im sorry, I already paid for the mailbox, Someone will contact you Monday [8/14/20 2:28pm].Today is August 25th and no one has contacted me.

This place is the best towing service in Huntsville. We have had nothing but great experiences each time we have used them for our towing needs. The driver showed up in a timely manner and was extremely nice! It was also a very pleasant experience doing business with the receptionist. She was also very nice! I will recommend their service to anyone.

THEY WRECKED OUR TRUCK BY LEAVING IT IN NEUTRAL ON THE PLATFORM AND CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE!! THE ENTIRE FRONT END OF OUR TRUCK IS DISLODGED, DENTED, AND SHAKING. We got this tow service through AAA and the driver neglected to put our truck in park on the platform. When we got our truck back from the mechanic (a close personal friend) the brush guard and the bumper were completely smashed on the bottom. It is consistent with where the wench wouldve been against the truck. There are even holes in our radiator. The brush guard is pushed all the way in and DENTED, and the bumper is hugely scuffed and dislodged at least 4 inches. This is the worst, most unprofessional tow company in town. I filed a claim with AAA so we can get the several THOUSAND dollars of damage done to our truck fixed. That guy clearly had no clue what he was doing. Ive heard they threaten their customers with harassment if you call them too many times after they hang up on you so we will see how the rest of the claim process goes. WORST SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE.

Locked my keys in my car. Called AAA and they supposedly dispatched someone from Reliable Automotive. But no one ever showed up. And hour and a half later I called Unlock It For Me in Madison and he was on his way immediately.It was definitely a problem with Reliable, not AAA. (Although AAA was not very helpful once we realized no one was on their way) I called the numberReliable has listed online, which AAA confirmed was the same number they had on file. It rang a drivers cell phone, but that driver wasnt taking calls that night. I actually woke him up when I called and he told me it had to be a different driver who was dispatched. I asked him how to reach that driver and he said call AAA back. Called AAA back and they gave me that same guys number again. So clearly the requests are going to his phone and never making it to the driver on call.

The receptionist was nice, quick, and helpful. The driver, Joe, was at my location within about 20 minutes. He carefully loaded my car and took care of towing it to the dealership since I had to get back to work. It was not expensive either. I hope I dont have to have a tow again anytime soon, but if I do Ill call these guys!

Our car warranty company contacted this company to tow us to the dealership. They texted me the company name with an estimated arrival time of 1 hour and a phone number for the company. We waited for over an hour and I contacted this company to see how much longer it would be and the lady asked if they had told me it would be an hour, I said yes and its been right over an hour. She then told me that it would be another 20 - 30 minutes and apologized for our wait. I took her word and sat there waiting for another 33 minutes. I called again and she asked had the guy not called us, I said no. I hadnt heard from anyone. She said he should be there in about 2 - 3 minutes.Then she asked my information and I told her. I explained that the warranty company had contacted them. Which is when she proceeded to tell me that they had never sent anyone because the company never faxed them anything. And that the company frequently does that.The car company says they absolutely did send them something. Im inclined to believe them. How else would they have given me an estimated time of arrival? Why didnt the lady tell me this the first time instead of having me wait another 30 minutes?If thats how they treat people, Im actually relieved that they never showed up.

I hate writing negative reviews but this place outright lied about a fee. Told us one price before noon but charged us another price even though it was not after noon.

They took 3 hours to get there. Very unprofessional and when they were unloading my car they broke my $2,000 front bumper and the driver said it’s okay it can be fixable I do not recommend this place at all.

Dont do it. Roadside assistance set up service with this company and they provided us a 90 minute wait time. After almost 3 hours of waiting and continuously being told they were on their way we cancelled and went with someone else. Save yourself the hassle and wasted time and find a different tow company.

It took three hours for the truck to arrive. Not a single phone call for the first two and a half hours, after which he said hed be there soon. The time I was told to expect was 90 minutes at the most, if not sooner.I wasnt in a remote location, there was no traffic.After no apology, the driver then took my car to the wrong location which caused repairs the next day to be delayed 6 hours.The name of this conpany is a laughable irony .

If I could give no stars it would be more accurate. They chose the wrong name. Reliable Towing should be called Show Up When We Feel Like It or Not At All Towing. We had a mechanical breakdown. Insurance company called in tow at 9:34pm... we were told Reliable/Unreliable would be there within 90 minutes. After waiting well past the quoted time, we could not reach Reliable/Unreliable by phone. Insurance company finally got them and they said 30 minutes. Then Reliable/Unreliable called us saying they missed a call and never got our tow order but then ask if I was with our car or at our home address which they called NAME! If you don’t have my order how do you know my address??? They assured us 20 more minutes. So we just had the insurance company dispatch another tow company just in case Reliable/Unreliable didn’t show. The other tow company showed within 30 minutes which was now close to 12:30am. We never heard a peep from Reliable/Unrealiable/Sike We’re Not coming Towing!!!If you want to be stranded then I would definitely recommend “Reliable” Towing!

They came and towed car in less than 20 minutes and I got my car back in less than 24 hours. I recommend this place to everybody. Honestly, sincere.

This towing company is extremely unprofessional. My insurance company and myself had to call multiple times and talk to multiple people to find my car in their lot. I had physically been to the lot a few days before and signed paperwork to release the car and clean it out. Please save yourself the headache and stress and use a different company.

A driver of one of their flatbed trucks was driving wrecklessly on University Drive. He was literally blowing his horn for me to go faster so that he could make a left turn onto Wynn Drive. I was already doing the speed limit and on top of that the roads are wet today.I spoke with the dispatcher/office manager and she became upset and hung up the phone because I said that I was reporting the business to the ADOT. I am anxiously awaiting for Daniel, the owner, to return from Florida so that he can handle this unsafe driver. They also need to number their trucks so that drivers can be easily identified.

If there was a zero stars thats exactly what this company would get. A tow truck was dispatched at 6:30 pm tonight and we are stillllllllll waiting. We were told they would be here at 710 and it is almost 8pm. This is terrible!!!!

Damage was done to my yard because driver drove off the driveway. Put a very large rut off the pad and broke two sprinkler heads. I was promised that it would be taken care of every time I called, first by the driver and then by Mike who gave me his cell number and then promised on three separate occasions to take care of it. I called multiple times over a period of a few months. Same story each time. An apology and then a promise and ultimately nothing. Been a year now so of course I had to take care of it myself. With this kind of disregard for quality of work/service I suggest you go elsewhere.

I personally have never used them for their services but I live in athens and there is a truck # 16 of the fleet and I have to say he almost wrecked me not once but twice in under 15 minutes just driving down the road. The driver pulled pit in front of me driving down the road then true to come over on top of me to jump on the interstate. Now if this is any indication of the service they provide then I will never use the company. I have seen this truck all over town and the driving is always iradic and he need to slow down and pay attention to his surroundings, most people have kids in the car like I do most of the time.

As an ex employee..I wouldnt recomend that anyone get their vehicle towed by this company. They are the shadiest people Ive worked for. Truck maintenance is zero to none..unless driver takes matters into his own hands..dispatching is horrible..every other driver Is a drug addict..owners take money from your pay for no reason. If your involved in a fender bender they make you pay for damages and take it out of your check rather than using their insurance. Had a Lady back into me at a red light..of course guess whos fault it was..mine..company made me pay for a 1,500$ scratch on a ladies bumper that she caused. Rolling DoT failures everytime you see a Reliable truck..by the way #16 in Athens that someone said couldnt drive is the supervisor. They want drivers to run 24 hour days 7 days a week. If you request off time they threaten you with suspension. Theyre a joke. Call Roadside or Affordable Towing ..even Mayhall..theyll take care of you instead of wrecking you.

Was told that they dont keep records more than 3 years. Refused to answer questions regarding who they auction vehicles to when car is impounded. Kept repeating we dont keep records more than 3 years. After asking who they auction cars off to twice, employee hung up on me.

The absolute worst. Driver showed up late. Driver didnt give the keys to the shop where my vehicle was delivered. Eight hours after I first called, my vehicle and keys arrive at the shop. Rude, bunch of liars. Every time I called, Im on my way there right now. Then had the nerve to cuss me over the phone when I told him to work on being honest.

Called Jeep Roadside Assistance. Was given an hour timeframe. At 90 minutes I called them and was told another 20 minutes. I called Roadside Assistance and asked for another tow company.

They was real nice to me and they was concerned about listening to me and fixing my car!!

After my accident, I specified to the driver where I wanted my vehicle towed - only to find out they towed it to their own lot anyway, and did not let me know. Had an insurance agent out looking for my vehicle for over an hour only to find that it wasnt where I had asked them to deliver it.

If you have a choice, dont go with these guys. I was in a car accident during a terrible thunderstorm, and they whisked my car away without letting me indicate a preference. Cant say Ive had a BAD experience, but these folks arent exactly nice and they are WAAAAY expensive. Im having to deal with this car accident (no fault BTW), and they are nickel and diming me for a ton of money. They even charge 3% just to pay with a card!

Horrible, horrible service. Connected through AAA. Phone employee was rude, driver took almost 2 hours, and then he was even ruder than the phone employee. He didnt know how to find anything (GPS???), and he gave us dirty looks and an attitude when he finally arrived. We were already upset our car wouldnt start, and we got treated like garbage, too. I would NEVER recommend this unprofessional company. I will be complaining to AAA as well.

I was connected to this company through Allstate/AARP Roadside Assistance. While awaiting service, I read these reviews and all of the negative reviews had me apprehensive.However, either this company has improved their customer service or the satisfied customers didnt provide very many reviews. (I believe people are much more inclined to write negative reviews when they are extremely upset than satisfied customers are to write positive reviews.) I dont write many reviews, but, in view of the negative reviews and my quite positive experience, I felt that I should write one. The office person with whom I spoke and, especially the driver who came to tow my car, were both courteous and pleasant. The truck arrived in almost exactly the 45 minutes I was promised. Since Im already getting wordy here, Ill not go into the details, but this was not by any means a straightforward towing job, involving two trucks (the first one couldnt climb the steep hill I was on) and pulling a car uphill out of rocky woods. The driver was extremely pleasant throughout this difficult and sometimes frustrating experience. For obvious reasons, I hope I dont need to do business with this company again, but if I do need towing again, I hope Allstate is still providing Reliable Automotive for towing.

I had AAA dispatch for a tow with this company @ 930 pm the first drive dispatched was pulled so I had to wait for another driver which showed up 1.5 hours later.He loaded my vehicle on to his flat bed and we proceeded to head to my drop location when this 2016 tow truck broke down.. he attempted to contact his dispatch for two more tow trucks one for his tow truck and one for mine.I didnt want to wait the next multiple hours so I diagnosed and temporarily fixed his tow truck. He delivered me and my vehicle home @ speeds up to 90 mph almost 3 hours after dispatch.. the driver said hed get me a discount tow for the issues and help...the dispatch lady and owner were extremely rude and refused to discount the tow.I even tipped the driver after all the hassle.Dont use this company!!!!!!

The receptionist and first driver I spoke with was rude and unprofessional. The second driver was very brief, definitely not overly friendly.
