My husband takes our son to Beardsleys every 6 weeks for both of their cuts. His favorite is Eric.. And we book way I had a time for him. Dimitri has also cut my sons hair and he did a fantastic job. Disable do great art too.. They are affordable prompt and do a great job!

I have been taking my 12 yo son Logan to Joe for 2 years now, he is always friendly and the cut is always exactly what he wants so I decided it was time for my 6yo son Gavin to start going to Joe now too. I was thrilled with how fantastic his first Barbershop cut turned out! I knew we were in good hands and I didn’t expect anything less than the amazing cut he got! Joe is always in the best mood, friendly and super professional and the cut is always perfect!

Only place Ill take my little guys for a haircut. Eric does a phenomenal job; my son always looks forward to his Haircuts. I recommend using Booksy to schedule appointments so theres no wait. Professional barber shop with a small-town feel.

Nick was awesome as always. My girlfriend always sends compliments my way when Nick tightens up my beard. So ladies, don’t let your man go to Nick or you’ll have to carry a stick to beat off the pursuing horde of lustful tricks.

Great atmosphere, great attitudes! All around an awesome place for a good cut. If you can, schedule a cut with Nate, the way he takes his time and goes over every hair is an art! Theyve left me loving my hair every time! Ive been going for years with not a complain.

By far the worst haircut experience of my life. The barber accidentally cut a hole about the size of a quarter in the exact middle of my head that went nearly to the scalp. As a result they had to cut my hair off almost entirely. I am now virtually bald, and will have to walk around getting looks and questions for weeks. The barber wasnt particularly apologetic, he really didnt seem to care. He gleefully told me this one was on the house, as if that was ever in question...Look at the age of the people cutting your hair at this establishment, and remember that they really havent been doing this very long, and may not entirely know what theyre doing. Im not sure that all of the supposed barbers are even of drinking age, but were trusting them to make us look good. Are they deserving of that trust?

Waste of time and unprofessional. Sat for over 25 min before we left, when we had an appointment. Theres no reason to wait here when theres is so many places with better service. Why even take appointments when you make your customers wait for so long. Also never recieved a call about why we left or why we missed the haircut. Our business will gladly go somewhere we are appreciated.

This place is phenomenal, I have been going here for years and never had a problem. Everyone at the shop is very easygoing and nice. Congrats on the 10 Mikey, hope you get that house!

Brought my son in for his hair to be trimmed and shaped. I called ahead to ask if him having long hair was going to be a problem. They said it would not be a problem at all. Gave explicit instructions about him wanting to keep the length. Hair was cut 8 inches. 8!! He now has a short haircut. I even tried telling her half way through the cut it was too short and she kept cutting. Just wow.

The staff themselves were super nice, friendly, and inviting people. When I arrived I didn’t get the person I made an appointment with online. The haircut I received I thought was very disappointing. I even had to fix some things myself after getting home. I also selected online to get a haircut with beard line up but was told half way through the haircut the beard line up probably wasn’t possibly because the next client would probably be arriving soon. Then I wasn’t straight razored but partially lined with another tool. Would not recommend

This place (Randall Road Algonquin) was the second time being at this location. The atmosphere was really relaxing. Everything was done really well. I got a hair and beard cut which will last about 50 minutes for all the services. Really love that they use a straight razor to shave up the neck line and under the beard. Love this barber shop.

Really nice place. I wish I knew the name of the barber. But he was super professional and at the same time very friendly. You can tell he has mastered his craft. Anyone can use clippers, but to be able to understand the customers hair and be able to suggest products that would benefit the customer was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this place.

This was my first time getting an undercut and graphic so I was a little nervous but Joe did an amazing job! You can tell he really loves to do graphics and experiment with them adding his own touch to make them extra special. Love taking my boys here! The environment is inviting to people of all ages, and the young men working at the shop continuously make my boys feel comfortable for every appointment. Compared to previous shops, they would cry the whole time and this transition was the best move yet. Aaron is our personal favorite, he will be cutting my boys hair for years to come! Diverse & talented crew with a welcoming atmosphere. I leave there looking great. I’ve made 3 appointments so far & have always been in the chair at my scheduled time. Book an appointment. If you don’t book you will most likely wait (this is typical for most barbershops anywhere). They are busy because they are good & take their time to make sure you look your best.

I Relocated to Huntley from Oak lawn and have been in need of a barber. My sister referred me to this place and spoke highly of it. This is my new stop for a haircut, sharp haircut and Mason did a great job.

UPDATE: The owner edited their response, they originally told me to comb my hair out and accused me of taking a bad pic on purpose. Exactly the kind of scummy business tactics I would expect from a low quality barbershop such as this. And no, I will not email you to discuss it further. You have poor customer service and even worse barbers. You have lost my business, and likely the business of many other thanks to the 3.5k views on my photo. You dont get to come back from this. Discussion over.Look at the picture I posted. They let me walk out looking like that. Look at the line work, its like my barbers left eye was placed approximately two inches lower on his face than his right. Didnt expect the hunchback of Notre Dame to be giving me a haircut.And check out their other negative reviews. Each response they make to each negative review tries to blame the customer. It screams POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Im sure theyll try to do this on my review too.Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, you dont want these amateurs touching your hair. Joe Beardsley is a Barber prodigy. This man first cut my hair when he was 17 years old. I was highly skeptical of his ability in that first cut because he was young, but he gave an extremely impressive cut when I first saw him. This week he gave me a highly technical and impressive graphic cut. He improves every time I come in, and this is impressive considering how high his ability already is.

Best barbershop in the greater Chicagoland area. I live in the city and drive out to Huntley every other weekend to get a haircut. I can’t find a spot in the city that is as trustworthy and consistent each time. The ambiance and vibe in the Huntley location is awesome. Joe B is my barber and I wouldn’t switch it up for anything. He is thoughtful, careful, and consistent each time. These guys are killing it!

When you call to make an appointment they tell you have to make one online. I go to make one online and it will not let me schedule for the same day. I called back and they tell me they have lots of appointments open but they can’t put me in one and they understand that their website will not let you book the same day either. They tell me that they have lots of space open and walk-ins are welcome. I arrive and they tell me a 40 to 50 minute wait. I let them know specifically that my son was 16 months old and this was his first haircut. In what world do they think a 50 minute wait would work for her first haircut with a 16-month-old baby?Added in response to the reply:I appreciate you responding. I would like to add I asked specifically if I could just schedule with her over the phone since the app wouldn’t allow me to and she saw openings (this was earlier today). She told me no, that she would get in trouble. I was already concerned about not being able to make an appointment. Small children have short thresholds for cooperation.I greatly appreciate your time and for the follow up. When he is ready for his next hair cut we will happily give this another go.

I used to Beardsley’s when they first opened up for haircut’s with my twin boy’s, it was Great then. I haven’t been there in years figured I would give it a try. I had no idea a Barber shop could get better. Friendly staff, best Barbers. I received one of the best haircut I have I have ever had done. They take pride in their haircuts! Highly recommend!!!!!!

I had Dimitri cut my hair, and let me tell you what this is the best dang hair cut I ever had. He is extremely meticulous. He pretty much cuts every hair one by one. Great job man.

My first impression was a positive one because I was actually seen right away, the cut was good, and the barber was friendly. BUT recently I waited for an hour and half and still wasnt seen. This may be because I was a walk-in and people were using an app to make appointments. Walk-ins are NOT welcome. They need to work on that system or just advertise appointments only. Sadly, I will not come back here because my precious time was wasted.

Had an appointment at 9:10am left at 9:35am 25 minutes after my appointment with no haircut or beard trim. Was never told why I was waiting past my appointment time. Watched the Barber take someone who did not have an appointment with him ahead me even though it was already 25 minutes past my appointment. Just moved to Huntley and was looking for a good Barber Shop. This looked promising when I walked in, but I have a baby at home and cant afford to go to places that cant be on time within a reasonable timeframe. Was not a good first experience!Update: Owner reached out to help make it right, which at least shows me they value their customer.

I got to admit best place to go to. Litrally everyone does a professional job for good prices. Today I went there and my hair was thick but this guy took me and did my hair how I wanted it and had a pretty good conversation about music. Everyone was vibing for sure. I am very impressed with everything at Beardsleys. I got a great haircut and a great beard trim for only $22. Everyone was really nice, great guys atmosphere, a lot of sports talk going on, a lot of motorcycle talk and beard talk. All that was missing was a tall pint of good beer. Beardsleys barbershop is amazing! Ive come here on several occasions and its always a blast! The barbers are always joking around with each other and their customers making you feel like a part of the group. Theyre almost all family and it gives them a different type of community that stands out from other barbershops. Luke is the barber that usually cuts my hair and he kills it every time, I always get compliments from others on my hair and even the other barbers in the shop have complimented me on it! This is seriously the only place you should let yourself get a haircut. Dont even think of it as a haircut, think of it as an !EXPERIENCE! From the moment you walk in the door and hear the vibing tunes and see the smile on all the lads faces, you know your going to be in good hands. Theirs even television so you can stay up to date on your favorite teams and whats going on. The owner Michael is a very likeable young man, he and his team are some of the most talented barbers in the area. Even when I had booking issues, the owner personally saw to that all my needs were taken care of. You would be foolish to go anywhere else.

My husband was very ill for 2 years. It meant a lot to him when he was strong enough to go to a real barber shop. The last barber he saw chopped his hair off and trimmed his mustache more than a quarter inch off from one side to the other. If you want a nice fade the younger folks are into this is a great place. If you are looking for a business mans hair cut and a mustache trim... maybe talk to the owner first.

They give great cuts here. Solid staff, guy that cut my hair was young but still cut like a champ. Could tell hes been around barber shops his entire life. I will be back if my barber is ever out! I go to school a few hours away, so it’s hard to get haircuts often, but the guys here always do a good job of fitting me in their schedules whenever I’m able to come home. Joe always does a great job and I never go anywhere else.

Wow! Awesome place and by far the best place to get a haircut. Very cheap and friendly. They do an awesome fade and taper. Sometimes will be a long wait on Monday and Saturday but every other day is very quick. Highly suggest you going here as it will be worth it!

A bustling shop with as many as 7 barbers working at one time, all schooled in the latest styles. You can get whatever suits your fancy. However, it is so popular that the waits can be a little long.

Great place to get a haircut! All the barbers really know what they are doing and dont rush through it. Great, friendly vibe as well. A little bit on the pricey side though but Id say its worth it because they definitely know what theyre doing.
