Years ago I enjoyed this Barber shop. Recently however customer service quality has decreased. I was there a Saturday morning and waited for 40 minutes for a haircut. Even at that point there was still 3 people ahead of me. They had only 2 barbers (for a Saturday?) and third one that arrived late and still was unable to start work. My last time there (which I can say with confidence) I was charged $20 for mediocre hair cut. Hopefully your experience will be better.

Jakes is a great barbershop. Very traditional; you can get a haircut and a straight razor shave if thats what you want.Everyone Ive spoken to is professional and easy to talk to. Also very knowledgeable. I was looking to try something new and my barber was able to talk to me about what I was thinking and make it happen.Reasonable prices for the haircuts that you get. Ive been there a few times now and will continue to go back.

Was there a few months back... there was a salty bar with a attitude. Hope hes fired by now.

Awful!! This place has gone downhill drastically ever since Jake left. Nobody seems to know how to give a proper haircut and there is hair everywhere and not swept up. Only good thing is its cheap but you get what you pay for.

I went here a few days before my wedding for the first time. The guy who cut my hair (Caucasian, dickies shorts, white beard) did an amazing job. He took the idea I had an made it work for my hairstyle. He took extra care to make sure that it was absolutely perfect. This is my new go-to place!

This place takes a lot of time to make sure your hair is tight and right. I have recommended them to everyone I know. Everybody has been impressed! Great products they sell! This place is great!

Worst experience at a barbershop Ive ever had... ever! This place is unorganized, clicky, circus, hangout barborshop. If you want to go and wait for an hour to an hour 1/2 trying to get a poorly done haircut then I would go here. If youd rather an organized professional run establishment ... go somewhere else. You wait hours for a haircut that I could do better myself. You will be passed over for buddies of the unprofessional barbors and friends of the shop. I will not ever be going back! Cannabis is freely passed and used at this establishment.I never honestly considered buying my own clippers and scissors to cut my own hair, rather do that to save more of my time and the extreme hassle this shop brings. My time is valuable and they have no consideration for anyone elses time but their own. Hence the 6pm early close time... working professionals cannot make that close time and are forced to come in on a busy Saturday. Good luck.- a very unhappy customer.

Got there at 4:45pm, apparently closed at 5pm! Do not choose this place if you are gonna be close to closing!

I went there on a Sunday at 12:30pm, but was surprised to find that Jakes was closed; although, their posted hours stated that they should have been Open from 9am - 5pm. I would have liked to try Jakes, as I live nearby, but was unable to.
