I normally do not leave reviews but I felt inclined to share the quality work that Chi did for my daughters prom dresses. She did an exceptional job on both dresses. Both dresses needed extensive, intricate work done which was not a problem for Chi. She pointed out things that needed to be done to the dresses that I would not have known to fix. Once she was done, you could not tell either dress was altered. They were both FLAWLESS!!! She also made masks to match both dresses!!! I have used Chi in the past for my oldest daughters alterations and I have never been disappointed. Will continue to use her!!!! My only advice is to get the item to her as soon as possilbe so that it can be ready by the event date.

She was amazing. I needed a dress and shirt altered and they were perfect, but she went above and beyond, I had a shirt that was too short, she found the perfect lace to match and made the shirt look better than original. Highly, highly recommend for any and all alterations.

Chi is wonderful and fast! She is very reasonable with her alteration and tailoring for mens professional clothing. I am so happy with how well and quickly she was able to hem and alter a pair of dress slacks for me!

Chi was kind and very skilled with the alterations for my daughters prom dress. She was great with communication, too. Make sure to allow enough time for your alteration, as she did experience a small delay, however with the communication I knew the best time to pick it up, and the dress was ready days before the prom. She is highly recommended by the families in our neighborhood.

Over a 5 year period I lost 35 lbs and had to have my wardrobe of shirts, pants, suits and coats altered. Chi who owns the store did a remarkable job of altering at least 50 articles of clothing. When I purchased an item from Dillards Department Store and was concerned about the need for alterations, a sales lady recommended Quality Alterations for very fine and precise work. I have not looked back since. I’ve had MANY pieces altered to perfection (including a gown and a bathing suit), and I am very pleased!!!

I have been doing business with Chi for over 20 years. Started there when Linda had it. Great quality, on time, very nice neighborhood small business.

My favorite pair of jeans had a couple of small issues such as the zipper was broken, and a small part of the back pocket needed mending.She did great work, the jeans are perfect now. They weren’t ready on time, but it’s not a huge deal since I didn’t need them immediately. Very nice lady, and good price for service.

(This is Kim Mennillo writing this review.) Chi has always done excellent tailoring of my clothes. She also turned six king-sized pillow cases into regular size and you would never know they’d been cut and shortened. Very professional job. She’s extremely busy and sometimes needs a bit more time than estimated, but that’s ok with me. It means she has a loyal customer base and is very good at what she’s does. I highly recommend her services. Most recent visit (5/8/2021) was $46 for altering two pairs of pants and shortening the six pillow cases. She knocked off $6 since the order wasn’t done on time. That’s great customer service!

This was the second place I tried to get an alteration for my bridesmaid dress. The first place told me they couldn’t do the slit that I needed due to the material. Luckily I tried this place after, and Tee did not disappoint. She took her time and really made the dress fit every curve of my body. I was very pleased and so was the bride. I will be returning for future alterations.

Workmanship was great. Price was fair. Took 3 weeks to get 2 zippers replaced. Very difficult to get in and out because she is seldom there.

I dropped off a suit to be tailored and we agreed that it would be ready 1 week later. When I came on the agreed upon date I was turned away several times on different dates saying that more time was needed. Finally, after SIX attempts I was able to pick up my suit days after the agreed upon date. If the owner had communicated better this would have been a better review.

I have used this business many times over the years. Now that Linda is gone, it has def changed. Last year kept a my bathing suit many weeks after it was promised. I made numerous trips to pick it up when it would be promised, but she kept putting me off. My latest alterations were promised March 8. I arrived on March 21 to pick them up. They were not ready! She said “ Come back on Saturday ( two days later). I did not get back until today, Thursday, and they were still not ready. She said, Come back tomorrow. Once I get my clothes I will never darken this door again. Such a shame. The work is excellent.

I have come twice and they aren’t open, on days they were supposed to be open, it’s quite upsetting when you have a deadline on your alterations (like a wedding) don’t waste your time on businesses that don’t even care to open on the schedule THEY MADE, uhh currently writing this in there parking lot after waiting 40 minutes to see if someone is coming in today

Dropped my wedding dress off on February fifth, it was promised to me on February 21st as per my receipt . I have been up every single week to pick up my dress since then . On Friday March 23 she told me she would call me on Monday March 26th I have not received call so I drove up there today . As soon as I walked in she said oh yes wedding dress, as she has excused the fact that my wedding isn’t until September ( not sure why that matters ) only as an excuse when it was promised to me back in February! Every week she keeps putting me off ! She told me today she will have it tomorrow 🙄. I said no not okay questioned her profusely, I was not nice this time and I’m sure my dress will show that ! Only reason she got a star is because I had to to write this review !

The owner of this place is awful. She told me, that my dress would be done by a specific date and time. A week and a half later she is still not done with my dress (which is for a wedding btw, so it’s pretty important) and every single time I have went in the store to get an update on my dress, she tells me to come back at a specific time, and then she gets scared and closes the entire store before that time she told me to come because she hasn’t started on my dress yet. 100% would not recommend coming here. Now I don’t have a dress for my wedding and she basically stole it from me.

Fantastic customer service.

Linda has been my go-to girl for at least 5 or 6 years now. She has done my own clothes, worked on things for my kids, etc. She has done a bridesmaid dress for me all the way down to a pair of girls shorts. She has always been very helpful and if there is something not quite tight enough, etc., she fixes it right away. Everything is ALWAYS on time. Just make sure you ask for Linda and not the assistant - Linda knows exactly what she is doing but I have had one experience with the assistant that taught me to always ask for Linda.

I took in several pieces to get altered and was given a 4 day turn around time. I came to pick up my clothing only to be turned away saying they needed more time. 2 days later I returned. Same story. 2 days later...yep again. I finally got two pieces of tailored clothing back and was told the rest would be dropped off At my house that evening. After several more times of calling and inquiring about my order I just received them....5 1/2 weeks later....I had paid upfront so there was no incentive for them to be timely and due to this lack of customer service and completely unacceptable turn around time, I won’t be using this tailor ever again. If you have clothing that has a deadline tied to if for being altered do not go here. I saw other customers being turned away while I was being pinned...that should have been my first clue. Consider yourself warned!

Used to be great when the other lady ran it. Items ready in just a few days, pay when you pick up. New lady wants payment upfront, and wait time is a week. Last time I dropped off, my 3 items were to be ready on a Thursday. I went to pick up on Saturday and they still werent ready. There was no explanation or apology. She asked me to come back later. I said no. She offered to deliver to my house that afternoon. They didnt show. Items were dropped off the next afternoon. I wont use them or recommend them anymore.

The work was done well enough. But she ducked me for 5 days trying to pick up my stuff. Sketchy af.

Great work, fair price, quick turn around, and open until 6pm!I brought in a new MK wool suit Tuesday, tried it on so she could take some measurements, and she said itd be ready Saturday. I picked it up Saturday, no issues. Since they were so busy, I didnt try it on until I got home but it was exactly as expected. The jacket fit much better, sleeves were great, pants were hemmed perfectly. Prices were fair, actually a little less than i expected.One of the biggest reasons I went here is because they are one of the only places open past 5pm and its tough for me to get out of work and through traffic to anywhere by 5pm. Also, they are actually open on Saturdays until 3pm! Ill be taking any future alterations here.

I have been using them for 9 years. Great tailors. . My only issue is that they dont take credit cards! Otherwise their alterations have been on point!

I have been trying to get my alterations back since September 12th!! It’s now November. I call and text with the owner almost daily who promises me to get me my $98 alterations. I think this place is a scam they only take cash and don’t give you a receipt. I’ve attached the pictures of all the months I’ve tried to get my clothes from them 😔

Very, very good work. They made my 15 year old jeans look whole again. However, they are constantly late on finishing the work.

This place is a mess and has gone downhill TREMENDOUSLY. Dropped off two pants, said it would be ready by Thursday. Came on Saturday to pick them up. She said they arent ready yet, her husband will drop them off in the afternoon. Didnt show, no phone call. Called them, didnt answer, never called back. Finally talked to them this morning, said shell drop them off today, finally did. Ill be going to the one near Harris Teeter from now on. How sad.

This business has had a jacket of mine for repair since mid-March. For the last 3 weeks shes been putting me off. My husband will deliver it to your house. My husband lost the address. I just want my jacket back even if its not repaired. I believe a daughter (a young woman) is now running the business & is in over her head. This was my go-to alteration place for years. Hate that its no longer reliable. Im likely to pursue legal action if I dont get my jacket soon.

Do not go here! I dropped off a bridesmaids dress on August 31st for an October 9th wedding. She told me the dress would be ready 9/15. I went to her place of business more then 5 times and called her almost every other day. She kept telling me to come back another day. I would show up that day and she wouldn’t be there or tell me a few more days. I could never get ahold of her, her voicemail box is full. She finally responded and told me to pick it up on 10/6 and changed the pick up time 3 times that day! I FINALLY picked up my dress the day before I leave town for the wedding and the dress is STAINED! Multiple stains all over this dress.When I asked her she said it was water from the steamer but it clearly is not. She was on the phone the entire time I was there to pick up the dress and was very short with me because she knew she had stained my dress and then gave me NO TIME to fix the stain she made. Do not use this place for alterations! She ruined my dress and still charged me $60!
