This used to be a great place to load cars, but since they started making drivers use the kiosk to sign in you cant get loaded here. 6 hours today and not loaded yet. But, they will load their own trucks, even the ones coming in 5 hours after you got there.

I went there for an interview and even though I do not think I got the job I would still recommend this company boss interviewed me seemed like he would be a good person to work for. I believe I know the reason for me not getting the job and I completely understand do you do something unfortunate I was late for my interview I was at the emergency room vet office all night the night before with a snake bite dog. Ended up getting home about 8:30 a.m. grabbed a quick shower jumped in my truck and took off it was a little further away than I was thinking and I went the wrong way that was 30 minutes longer so I completely understand but Im going to keep an eye on this position and if it comes available I will reapply and keep trying

If your a transporter and are going to load cars here be ready to wait 5-6 hours to get loaded from the time you arrive they will load their own trucks but will get to you whenever they feel like it.

Though it was set up for the drivers, they did an excellent job for me. Lady that waited on me was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable.

If you will have pick up vehicle in this location be ready to spend there whole day. This place is terrible my advice avoid it

I came here to pick up my vehicle that was stolen and recovered. Waited in line, got everything sorted. Noticed the fork drivers going waaaaay faster than their posted 5mph speed limit, with cars bumping around on the forks. They brought my car out and dropped it in the gravel lot in front of me. I got in and drove it across south 20yards of the bumpy gravel lot, then hit pavement. There was still a lot of gravel strewn across the driveway, so I didn’t notice the flat tire until about 20 feet outside the gate (still in their driveway, right under their sign.) I went back in and told the lady at the desk that copart had popped my tire, likely with their forks. I was told that because it was outside the gate, there was nothing they could do. A guy in a copart truck pulled up and asked us if we had somebody coming to get the car because it’s partially blocking their driveway, and I said hopefully. I don’t have a tire iron or jack because my car was stolen and everything thrown out. I mentioned that copart popped the tire. He said “well you probably ran over something in the gravel. If you run over a nail on the road it’s not the roads fault.” Well then maybe your fork drivers shouldn’t have dropped my car in the gravel lot if you knew it was full of debris that could pop a tire. Reckless and careless company with bad customer service.

Disorganized and slow. Seems minimum wait time is 2 hrs for one vehicle and they claim to be short handed all the time on forklift drivers. WELL HIRE MORE DRIVERS with all the exorbitant fees you charge your buyers its not like you cant afford it.....

Customer service is terrible. Office workers are very slow and will leave you waiting without acknowledging you. After you wait 1 hour to be serviced, you wait another 2-4hr for the vehicle(s). Not a one time experience.

Been a Copart member for years but have never bought a vehicle from this location until three weeks ago. After the vehicle was picked up by the transport service, I called Copart as the title had not been sent. The lady I talked to was very polite and assisted me to get the title via mail. Thank you for a job well done.

I drove up to this location from South Texas to pick up a 2019 mustang I purchased which I happily paid a lot of money for because it was in pristine condition. As soon as I drive in the forklift drivers are zooming around unnecessarily fast roughly scooping up vehicles onto the forks, ramming their hoods into the machines with no care. I witnessed them dent a car so I politely asked the front lady to have them drive my vehicle out, rather than put it on the forks. 30 minutes later they bring my vehicle out, with the forklift, and surprise surprise, there’s a huge crack in my bumper right where the fork is and scratches in the paint. I showed the front lady the pictures of the car when I purchased it, with no crack in the bumper. She publicly yelled at the workers, admitted it was their fault, but said there was nothing they would do to help except give us some free storage time which does nothing for the current situation. It is absolute nonsense that could’ve been avoided with just a bit of care and now I’ll have to pay a thousand dollars extra to fix the front end and repaint it. It’s unbelievable they’re allowed to do business this way, shame on them. Doug Cooper, the manager, didn’t even leave his office to speak with us but made the front lady tell us his “decision”. He’s a shameless man who should have no power with the way he does business. People shouldn’t treat each other that way.

I go to tanner, mobile, Montgomery, and dothan, Birmingham needs to take some lessons from tanner. Burning ham is so unorganized and the leaders do more damage than the wreck does,they need to be trained, on how to be more gentle with the cars and trucks,

Worst place EVER!!! They have no common courtesy. They take they’re sweet time about getting your vehicle out to you and they have no care how long you’re waiting!!! I’ve been here going on four hours waiting for two cars!! That’s ridiculous!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOURE A TRANSPORTER!!!!!!

As a transporter this location has become the worse of all of them, i heard Houston Tx is the worse but i seem peoples waiting 7 or 8 hours before get load ONE car. My last 2 visit i wait over 5 or 6 hours 🤦🤦 and not get load it until 7:30pm. Im pretty sure they can do better, my opinion ? The person that runs the auction dont know what he is doing or not care about it.

If you’re a car transporter don’t ever ever ever ever come here unless you want to wait 7-8 hours and deal with the most unorganized group of people in all of the South East. I was here today to pick up 2 cars. Waited 1 hour to come inside the office and another 2 hours to get those vehicles. Same terrible service as the one in Atlanta.

I had sold my vehicle online to CarBrain. Copart was supposed to pick up the vehicle, along with the title and keys, in exchange for a check. They made an appointment for Wednesday between 12 & 4 pm. They did not show. Called them and they rescheduled for the next day after 2 pm. Next day they called about sending a driver that morning, even though I told them I had to work until 2. They said they would try to send a driver after 2, but again they did not show. I called CarBrain, and they said I would be contacted again about pickup for the following day. Got a call 30 minutes later from Copart to reschedule for Friday. I told them they could meet me at 3 pm or forget it. THEY DID NOT SHOW! When I called, the dispatcher said she would see if she could get a driver, and I told her no deal. THESE PEOPLE NEVER CAME!!!

Sat in line waiting (with an appointment) from 2:09 p.m. until 6:00p.m. only to be told they thought I was in a Black Chey Tahoe smhI specifically told the attendant🗣 EXACTLY WHAT I WAS DRIVING!!!!! I mean why have appointments if thats the final outcome😡

We bought a vehicle 2/13/19 from this location. Copart put the date before the sale on the title 2/12/19. The state rejected it. I called Copart and after Avery long conversation they agreed to do a affidavit of correction. This was May 2019. The state just rejected it again because Copart did not sign the affidavit. It is June 19 and I have called at 8 and at 9 and was told someone will call me back. No call back. Make sure your paperwork is correct before you leave Birmingham

Horrible wait time had to 3 hours everytime i pick up a car. Need for fortlift ppl 3 hours wait time is way to much ...thier customer service is garbage they make to many mistakes daily

Kinda slow but when the car came out it was loaded quickly

The place is pretty average however the staff are friendly and helpful. My white time here is usually about 20 to 30 minutes but once Im loaded its hardly a problem leaving. The wait time on the inside is very minimal. I think the longest I have waited on the inside was about 15 minutes. Im not sure how long you have to wait if you go in the early morning hours but if you get there around 10 I am it usually goes pretty quick. Hope you have an easy time getting in and out.

Here at Birmingham copart everything running smoothly and respectfully girls in the office super polite and fully knowledgeable out side at yard loaders are awesomely professional,fast, efficient taking care of the transporters one by one operating forklifts so good without wasting valuable time buyers, transporters every one winners here

Nightmare...

They do take You in earlier and nobody mentioned anything about me showing up two hours earlier then my scheduled appointment time. They do have lumper and thats the worst thing about them. 1st You pay then You wait then You get a receipt and then You wait for Your bills for at least twenty minutes. But considering the fact that my appointment was 9am and now it is 9am and I am waiting for bills already I cant complain.

I’ve been dealing with copart and my insurance company for weeks now trying to get my claim settled. Needless to say it has been a nightmare. I’ve had several reps call from copart claiming to be from my insurance company. One rep said she had my finance company on the other line and was requesting info regarding my loan, when in fact my finance company has yet to even be contacted about my claim..per my finance company. I’ve been bullied and pressured to release my vehicle to copart for 2 weeks now and I’ve yet to receive a number telling me how much is being offered on my totaled vehicle. Just yesterday I received a fed ex package with a power of attorney on my vehicle requesting my signature. I’m not comfortable signing a power of attorney on my vehicle when so much is still owed on it and no amount has been offered to me on a pay off. I wasn’t the one driving my vehicle at the time of the accident, a friend was. He has received numerous calls from copart as well demanding that he release the vehicle to them. His name is no where on any of my policies or loans. Yet all the paperwork I received yesterday was in his name.

Suprisingly effiect, helpful, and friendly. Visit took less that 5 minutes and I left with everything I can for. Even employees working the yard stopped to help me out.
