Greg leight was wonderful! He never pushed us to make a decision. He was in eyes view if we needed him. And he was honest.. and put us first! You cant beat that!!

Avoid the cheap cars on the lot. We drove them, and not a single one usually stayed cranked long enough to make it back to the parking spot we pulled it out of. Its obvious that they clear the check engine lights. The one that did stay cranked and actually rode decent wouldnt let me put the shifter back into park after driving it a few feet. Had to leave it in neutral and put the parking brake on, then couldnt open the door from the inside. Dont be fooled by the prices online either. Thats before they apply the fees, which usually tack on an extra grand and a half or more. The only positive was that the salesman Greg seemed like a honest good guy. Be better off buying used from an individual for alot cheaper, and with less of a repair bill.

Beware of this place. Bought a car from the auction and it had been fixed with stop leak. Car didnt make it 3 miles and overheated. Called the mechanic and a blown head gasket. Someone rigged the car to get it sold. $3100 down the drain. Bring your mechanics with you. Theyre sneaky here.

We are happy with our purchase. Greg was amazing. He held the car for us when he knew we were on our way to see it. He washed it before we arrived. He allowed us to use the car we came to look at as our own private golf cart to check out other cars on the lot. This kept the car we came to see from being sold until we made up our mind!! Our car pick had a rebuilt title. He used VIN number to pull up pictures of the damage for us to see before buying on his phone app. The buying process was easy and quick. Thank you Greg!

Because of the extensive selection of good used car values at Birmingham Auto Auction, we were able to purchase cars for two of our children this past week. Greg Leight was very helpful in providing information we needed before deciding to make the long drive each time from our home in Huntsville. Today after helping us see the car we were interested in via FaceTime, highlighting both positive and negative features, he helped us do a test drive to confirm our decision, and then he offered to negotiate a better price on our behalf… overall an excellent used car buying experience worth traveling for!

Had a listing for a 2014 Volkswagon Passat on their website. The website states the car as being a clear used title. It also goes on to state that the vehicle is manual transmission and that it takes normal gasoline and they are selling it for $7999. I arrived today to look at the vehicle and not only was it not manual transmission, the vehicle had damage all down the passenger side. The inside was absolutely disgusting and we found that it was a rebuilt title. The engine was also a diesel engine. The pictures on the listing made a deliberate attempt to hide the damage on the passenger side and in the cabin by capturing at selective angles and by being so grainy and unfocused that you cannot see the minor details that point out the vehicles potential issues. Waste of my time. Giving them 2 stars just because the people at the front desk were nice. Just avoid this place.

This place is over priced on almost all there cars. I have been 2 times and both times it said they had multiple cars there that were on there site but when we got there they were no where to be found. All the cars were dirty on the inside and some even said super clean and weren’t even close to clean. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Right now its after the pandemic and the prices are sky high... Im guessing to make up for the pandemic.

Great cars in my opinion. A little pricey but about what youd expect to pay when going to a dealer. I have not gotten an opportunity to go to an actual auction. I just got a chance to check out the cars they sell on the dealership side.

DO NOT GO THERE, PERIOD. I test drove it in the parking lot, it was fine, the car broke on the middle of the road, and they did not work with me on that. I’m still paying crazy debt with interest here after 3 years. Close counter with depression. I’m happy if even one of you don’t go there reading my review. They deserve worse for lying!!!

They are trying to sell cars / trucks with false and inaccurate discriptions and dont want to compensate you for their obvious mistakes, it was advertised with power windows and locks but did not have these features and was told too bad its a good price anyway, balding tires, broken a/c, cab leaks fixed with duct tape, very very poor dealership!! other people in the lobby had similar issues with the vehicles they were looking at, Sad way of doing business, Keep your distance, buyer beware !!!Bait and switch

They have a wide selection of cars trucks and SUVs. Some are reasonably priced and others I was shocked because outside of car was nice and the insides were terrible and it was still like $8000. For the most part they have great customer service. I definitely am going back to hunt some more.

I got an 02 tahoe with the check engine light on. So I asked the guy to run it I want to know what it is before I get it. He never showed me the computer an told me its an intake sensor. I took him for his word. Got home that night found out the rear 2 tires are balled. That raised my concerns so I took it the my mechanic(we have been friends for years my younger brother dates his daughter) anyways come to find out the check engine light is a (flex fuel sensor, intake sensor and fuel pump) so $1800 plus $600 for new tires. I WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN AN I WILL NOT LET ANYONE ELSE I KNOW SHOP HERE EITHER!

The staff was friendly, however, the car we went to see, that was supposedly on the lot yesterday, was no longer there today. The staff couldnt find it, it was no longer showing up in their inventory, and they had no idea what had happened to it. Im not sure how a business can be successful if they cant account for their inventory. Again, the staff was very friendly and apologetic, but as a whole the company seems a bit unorganized.

You can find some good deals and negotiations with them, purchased a car a few months back. They didn’t tell me what all was wrong with it but we’ve kept the maintenance up and it’s still working fine. BRING A MECHANIC before you settle on the car!!

Not bad, not good. They are friendly but most of their vehicles are way overpriced for the mileage they have on them. They will low ball you on your trade but they will be honest about that with you. I have purchased a few vehicles from them and all but one were a good.

Here they have a decent selection of cars. A few that were exactly what I was looking for. When I first walked onto the lot i wasnt bombarded but after about 10 minutes an employee approached me. After a such short conversation about what I was looking for he began showing me around the lot and a few vehicles that might suit my needs. While looking at the first vehicle another couple politely asked the employee if they could get a vehicle unlocked so they could look inside it. He told me hang on and he would be back. No problem, right? Well he never came back. It seemed as it he was actually intentionally avoiding me. It was so surprising because I told him I was ready to pay cash for a car because my engine died and needed something ASAP. And that my wife was going to he buying of was well very soon. I couldnt get him or any of the other 3 employees that were there to give me the time of day. I wouldnt recommend going there unless you want a car that may or may not start with some of the windows being able to roll up and you have your own truck to tow it off the lot with. Dont waste your time or your money here

Went to buy a gas saver test drove everything driving fine look under hood no sign of wear of my knowledge guy told me from his mouth car ran good drove 1 day and a half and car cut off in middle of the road had call a wrecker. My experience wasnt good bring a mechanic with you and test drive car the next day see if drive the same. Car business a sleazy business i but it all good just part of the game win some lose some

We purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Impala for $6300. When we went to pick up the car the battery wouldn’t crank the car. They jumped it off and said it was just from sitting up for awhile. We got home and car wouldn’t crank and they said that was just too bad. We purchased a battery for $130. Next we had to purchase new tires for $850. Then we replaced the alternator for $1200. Finally we had to have it towed for $230. Then Chevrolet dealership said we needed a new fuel pump and brakes for $1728. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Please trust this review and don’t buy from them. We are on a fixed budget on social security and this money pit has caused us to go into our retirement. I also intend to report them to BBB. Birmingham Auction obviously checks these cars and know the issues when you purchase the car. We are so ANGRY.

I wasnt really impressed with this place. I made the trip out here from Hoover only to find that the car I was very interested in, which Id seen on their website, wasnt here. I looked around at the cars on the lot and every one in my price range had something wrong with it - multiple warning lights on, wouldnt crank up, interior flooded with water, you name it. To be fair, I was looking in the sub-$5000 price range so expectations werent high, but their website claims that every one of these cars has no known mechanical problems or is in excellent condition and thats just not true. The car that Id been interested in, which wasnt there, continued to be listed on their website for weeks afterward. Its a shame because the employees all seemed nice and tried to be helpful, but I personally wouldnt buy a car here. If you do, a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection by a third party to make sure that theres nothing wrong with the car is an absolute must.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! They know they sell bad cars and they do not care what happens to you or the vehicle after they sell it to you. They sold me a car with a bad transmission and KNEW about it and did not tell me until after I confronted them about it. They tried to act like they wanted to help me but they never did!! I have had to put more money into this car than I paid for it!! Garbage cars from garbage people. Save yourself the trouble!

Just bought a 2009 Dodge Avenger. Great Experience! Dennis was very knowledgeable about cars and had a lot of experience. He was easy and fun to work with. Ray at the auto repair shop did a great job of checking it out and explaining to us the problems (not many or major) that he saw with the car. Laura did a great job or working with us on all the paper work and payment. They had a good selection of cars reasonably price and in several hours we were on our way with our new car!

Look around yourself at these cars, most you can drive around the lot without the hassle of a salesman in your face. There are pros and cons of buying here. You can get great deals, and you can get not so great deals . You really have to check the vehicles over well, Take a mechanic with you if you can. Ive purchased many cars here, some were amazing.
