Moe, the owner is extremely talented and professional when it comes to detail and final outcome. I haven’t had a haircut like I just did in a long time. His attention to detail is impeccable. The barber shop is very clean and enjoyable as it is appointment only which makes you the focus while you’re there. I highly recommend this barber shop.

This place is exceptional. I have tried many of the nearby barbers in Hudson and nobody compares to the quality and level of detail that Mo provides. I would give him 6 stars if they allowed. If you are looking at the many haircut places in Hudson, give this place a try - you wont be disappointed.

Horrible service, bad haircut.Hal is apparently out, so I was set up with a substitute. He assures me he has 10+ years experience, so no problem I think.He didnt understand what I was asking for, and then made decisions without clarifying and checking first. This was made clear when he told me what you asked for would look horrible, people would make fun of us [the barber.] He tells me he knows what looks good, _because_ of his 10+ years experience, and that I should trust him.If he thought I was asking for something that looked bad, he should either double check what I was asking for, or explain why he thinks that will be bad before starting. Instead he gave me a cut I didnt ask for, then tried to fix it up.Fixing it up, meant straightening and styling it, something I explicitly said I dont do, nor do I want to do.He doesnt know how to handle curly hair, how to figure out what the customer wants, or how to politely handle disputes. An absolute robbery at $32. Ive had better haircuts from budget salons.

Great haircuts from Hal! Hes very skilled and Ive received perfect haircuts every time. Hes more expensive than a chain, but in line with what youll pay at a salon. And hes well worth it!

Hal was the best stylist you could find. Unfortunately, hes moved back to Egypt and sold his business ... BUT ... the new owner, Mo is just as good as Hal. This place is still the go to spot for mens haircuts in the region.

If youre looking for a cheap, in and out haircut, this isnt the place for you. If youre looking to get a cut from guys that really know their craft, then this is your place. You can just tell by the attention to detail and the results. You just feel like youve gotten what youve paid for. Highly recommend these guys.

Hal is an expert at cutting Mens hair end of story.Rarely seen today, he takes the time to do the job properly and has old school passion and concern for what he does.I am so glad I found hs shop and hope that my recommendation is heard so that others can have the pleasure of getting an excellent cut.Only worry I have is that too many people might discover him and then I will never be able to get an appointment! :)Summed up in one word masterful

Hal is a great barber who can do a variety of styles. Unfortunately he is on hiatus right now, with no foreseeable return, but the cuts by his new partner are still good and highly recommended!

I always get a simple haircut whereever I go but it always seems to take people a few visits before it actually comes out nice. Hal did it better than anyone Ive been to and on his first try. Very professional and friendly.

Not impressed! Poor customer service.If you dont mind bad customer service and spending a lot of money, this is the place for you. I went here for the first time today. I thought Id try it out after reading all the positive reviews. Never again.First off, a mens haircut cost $32. I dont know about you but if I spend that kind of money on a haircut, it better be good. Being that it was my first time there, I made sure to give Hal good instructions so he knew what it was I wanted done. He did NOT like that. He continuously criticized me for for explaining to him what I wanted.He seems to think very highly of himself although his work is just average. The first think I asked him when I walked in was if hes experienced with undercuts and he had no idea what I was talking about. He had me pull up pictures on my phone.He continued to get frustrated with me throughout the haircut which left me with a mediocre cut with cowlicks in the back and no fade on the sides even though I requested it.For $32 I expected much more than what I got. I didnt even get swabbed with alcohol on the parts of my head in which he shaved. Ill say it one more time, if you dont mind bad customer service and spending a lot of money, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

Ive tried at least a dozen different barbers in the Marlboro / Hudson area - and none are anywhere as good as Hal. Hes busy, though, so call ahead if youre hoping to get a haircut on the weekend.
