The people at the shop were amazing. We had been stranded in town on our trip. They took our car in on short notice, fixed the issue in a timely manner and bent over backwards for us.I would recommend them to anyone in the area or anyone with a vehicle issue passing through. Timely and honest with prices, labor costs, and fixes to save money. Did not push anything I didnt want to do. Would recommend to others based on my first experience, and I would definitely use RMF Hudson again.

I went to RMF Auto after not being pleased with a previous auto shop. I called first and briefly explained that my check engine light was on and some noises and other problems I had. I have zero knowledge about cars, so my explanation was short, un-descriptive, and likely unhelpful. However, they took my information and said they would schedule me. They asked if I was available to bring my car the following week—however, I couldn’t make that work. I instead suggested the following day as an open time slot for me. They said they were completely booked, but if I came in, they would do their best to get my car checked out. I brought it the next day, and within hours they sent me a full diagnostics on their website that showed photos, explanations, and priority levels. Then they called me to go over every detail and to make sure I felt comfortable with what they found. I agreed, and only about an hour later, my car was ready to be picked up. They fixed multiple things and my car is running perfectly now. Also, they told me that if my engine light comes on again (due to the make of the vehicle and the type of engine work they did, sometimes the light comes back on, so they warned me) that I could come back immediately and they would take care of it. It was amazing, they were so kind to me, they were flexible with me. I will use this place from now on.

Van wouldn’t start so I had it towed here. Dead starter. While removing the starter it broke. They were able to extract it and replace it. Good work! Good communication. Nice facility. Thanx!!!!

We are new to the area and my car battery died. I was able to have it jump started to make it to the shop. I found RMF on Google and chose them based on their excellent reviews. I called ahead to let them know I would be coming & they told me it may not be ready same day, as they had to order my battery. I arrived around 2 PM & my car was ready before they closed at 5 PM. I really appreciated the complete inspection report as well as the timely and thorough service! RMF will definitely continue to get our business.

The owner (?) was condescending. Id had my car towed by AAA when it was overheating on the highway, no steam, the gauge was reading hot. When I dropped the car off Id asked him to call me before doing any work so I new what to expect as a price, and if I could, I could take it somewhere else. The car was towed on a Thursday. I didnt hear anything on Friday, over the weekend or Monday. I went in on Tuesday, the radiator had a bad plug, was already fixed. When Id asked why he hadnt called as agreed, he said state law says he doesnt have to call me until the bill is over $100. The bill was $100 + tax. Hmmm....he changed a radiator plug, told me that he had to take it for a drive to see what was happening and it was low on antifreeze. The car is fine, he has an attitude, and I will never return there again.

We had the brakes replaced on our 2013 car & they squeaked - a LOT. Took the car back in twice & still squeaky. Finally, the parts were replaced & all is wonderful in my car once again. The staff were so nice, always trying to fix it, & never charged me any more than the original repair cost. RMF Auto has always been good to us & we appreciate their work. But this time they really had to go above & beyond for repair. Thanks very much, Gang!

Put in vehicle to get overheating diagnosed. Took 6 days to get in touch with me, at which point they said they had pressure tested the coolant and found no leaks. 5 minutes after I got home there was coolant on the driveway.

These people are scammers. If youre not a guy expect to go in there and to pay double for any service. The service tech made me super uncomfortable. I went to see if my car was ready and saw him sniffing my sweatshirt and making groaning noises. They need to do something about that guy!

I took my car in for an oil change. They check everything over, thankfully for me! They found a problem with my wheel bearings that could have beenA serious situation had they not found it and fixed it the next day. They do great work, their customer service is outstanding. I took my vehicle to RMF for a problem with one of the rear doors not working properly. I chose RMF because they had done such a great job with maintenance and resolving problems with my BMW and Mini Cooper in the past. They did a complete inspection of my vehicle - including pictures- and sent it in an easy to access report via text. The problem I brought it for apparently resolved itself, as RMF couldn’t replicate- and it’s still working perfect. Because there was no problem to solve, they didn’t charge me anything! Not even for the inspection or time diagnosing! I know others would have charged a diagnostic fee. I’ll definitely continue to bring my vehicles to RMF and tell everyone I know how great they are!

I’ve paid over a hundred dollars for an inspection on my car in the last year and RMF’s free inspection was more thorough than the previous paid one was. The inspection report also included at least a dozen photos of the repairs needed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Im fairly new to the area, and too far away to go to my usual auto shop. I found RMF online, and Im so grateful to have found kind, reliable auto service. Being able to see photos of the repairs needed ahead of time was really helpful, and they even texted me a few days later to check that everything was working properly. I’m surprised that RMF is not a nationwide shop yet, they actually take pride in their work, treating their costumers like the next of kin. Sometimes I even wish my car had some small issues just so that I could go back to RMF earlier. But honestly, they have made me a customer for life.

RMF Auto has always been on point with our vehicle service needs. Whether it is a basic oil change, tires, or chasing down an A/C issue, the service manager Jamey, has always been up front with the details of service needed and estimated cost. The service techs do a complete job, including overall inspection and recommended maintenance. Kiah is always so personable and attentive to each customer as they enter the door.

Im from out of town and feel like they took advantage of that. Way over priced for the job they did and it WASNT EVEN THE ISSUE. Charged me $950.27 for 2 $50 parts and $50 for fluid. Saying it took them 4 hours to put in a transmission line. Was charged 3 different labor charges to fix the problem. Now my entire transmission is out. So the initial inspection WAS NOT RIGHT. Line busted leaking fluid and transmission wasnt even talked about. Dont trust them enough to go back as they would probably charge enen more on top of what I paid. They are definitely in the business to make quick money not to solve or help. So mad and frustrated that I didnt even make it home before breaking down again.Again, price was discussed for transmission lines however wrong diagnosis. Paid for a fix and broke down an hour later. Will NOT give return business.

I have taken my Mercedes here twice. First for an oil change and check up. The second for an oil change and a repair. Both times have been excellent! I like that they send a detailed email about what was done that day and giving me a heads up on what repairs will be needed down the road, with photos for proof. I would definitely recommend RMF.

It was the day after New years, but they got on it right away and it was done by the end of the day. Also fixed some other minor stuff for no charge. Its a big shop, which means you have to fix lots of cars to stay in business. You only fix lots of cars if you do a good job and take care of customers. Its not right in town, but it is a AAA recommend shop. Thanks.

I appreciate the personal, low pressure, informative and competent professionalism of their work at every step. I receive diagnostic pictures of the underbelly and engine parts of my car - both of what they will repair/replace and what will need future work. These guys are great! They service our fleet of six vehicles. Never any issues. They show photos or videos of what needs to be repaired before they do the work.

First, they took my car in the same day I called for an appointment. (Amazing) Next I was called with an estimate of cost that they stuck to.(Yeah) Then they texted me with an inspection, including photos of things that were suggested. They rated the severity of the repairs suggested. I chose to add a second repair and they took care of it while it was there. I do not know what more I could ask for when you throw in the courteous and professional communication that I received. Great job RMF.

I have been going to RMF AUTO for repairs on multiple vehicles for a few years now. I highly recommend them for a several reasons. The staff is very friendly and listens to my needs as well as communicates well regarding repairs that I NEED. They do give recommendations and will honestly tell you if something is needed now or sometime in the future. No high pressure trying to sell unneeded parts and labor. The waiting area is clean and very accommodating with refreshments, TV, and reading material. The garage is also clean which says something about the quality of work they perform. Any issues that have come up during or after performing the work were resolved in a timely and friendly manner. I also appreciated the loaner car and the repair report that was emailed to me. I started using RMF for my auto servicing needs several years ago when I became fed up with the outrageous charges and poor customer service at a dealer service department. I have found RMF to be honest, thorough, and pleasant to work with. Their charges are reasonable, and they are always happy to taxi me to and from my home when they need to keep my car. To top it off, they always have fresh popcorn and cold beverages in their waiting room!

We have taken multiple vehicles here for many years for regular service work and other major work. They have treated us very fair. Nice waiting room with refreshments. Staff is very knowledgeable of explaining the work preformed. They also get us in for service on a timely basis.

I took my daughters car here for a brake fluid flush and a few other items. On my last visit, a report was provided to me via email that showed items that needed to be done and other things that could wait. It included pictures of items, such as the color of fluids. My car had been making a warbling noise while braking for quite some time. I had taken it to another local business where they said that it was rust on the rear brakes causing the noise. I stopped into RMF to have them drive it and get their opinion, they found that my rear brakes were missing a shim and that was causing the noise. They fixed the issue right at that time while it was tore apart, to save my another trip and I left with a much quieter car! Great service:)

There are multiple occasions where I have gone in asking for a specific service and they have told me I dont need it, or that I can go a while without it. Had a front end alignment done a month ago. The tires have started wearing really bad. Took it to a different shop and need another alignment. Would be willing to give a second chance but not the greatest 1st impression.
