I cant say enough about how happy my husband and I are with the work Paulsons Construction did for us on our historic entry and stairway rebuild/restoration. Historic restoration is not easy. It takes knowledge, patience, and great skill. Paul and his Team exceeded our expectations in all of these areas. Working with Paul was an absolute pleasure. He was an excellent communicator and always kept us up-to-date on the schedule, budget and contractor coordination. I cant imagine having anyone else do the work that Paulsons did for us. We plan to have them back to take on the other historic restoration projects we have on our to-do list. Thank you Paul and Team!

This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever contacted.It is unfortunate that a stuck up Secretary is entrusted with the livelihood of the business.When I called about new work, not only was she condescending but also rude.When employees are hired to do a job, they should remember they are in a service industry and leave the attitude at home!If she is any indicator of what the company is like, I would hate to work with the owner or project manager on an actual job.

Applied for a job at this company. I was not upset with the interview. I didnt take the job for my own reasons, but the people here in the office are wonderful. Very friendly! Paul seems to be a smart guy with knowledge & his wife was very sweet. Chad was a blast to interview with. If you have some home remodeling or even some repairs or additions to grow your house, these guys might be who your looking for. They had lots of quality products in the showroom & if you have the time to stop by & check it out, you wont be disappointed.

We have our home on the market and discovered some rotten boards around our fireplace, one step on the deck, and under the patio door. Tim came out, gave us a quote, and arranged with Matt to fit us into their busy schedule. Peter arrived on time, completed the work as promised, and it looks perfect. He also explained every step and took pictures for us to see everything he did. Tim came back today to make sure we are happy and to give us the final bill and it came in under his proposal! We are beyond happy.

Bathroom remodel completed May 2019:Great people and workmanship. Was not the lowest quote but you get what you pay for as far as quality, timeliness and cleanliness. We will use them again in the future.

These guys and gals are fabulous. They have a top notch show room in Howell. I like to refer my clients there as I know that they will get the care and attention that I can respect and feel comfortable with knowing that they are going to love how they get treated.

Paulsons did a small job for us recently, repairing some wood siding and trim that had rotted. From the initial estimate to the end product, they were on time, professional, and did a great job. We wouldnt hesitate to hire them for another project of any size.

Paul and his folks built us a fantastic new garage, auto shop and mud room addition. His folks produced A1 quality results with minimal intrusion into our lives. They spared most of our landscaping and my wifes gardens, and everything was cleaned up at the end. We couldnt have been happier.

I was recently diagnosed with ALS and needed to renovate my master bath to make it more handicap accessible. I started calling local contractors back at the end of 2018 and began with Paulsons as I knew the name. My experience was short and unpleasant with them. I knew nothing of renovation costs and simply guessed at a budget price. I was contacted by a salesman (I wish I could remember his name...) who essentially called me stupid for guessing so low and said I was not worth the time.My next call was to Runyan Brothers and they just completed my bathroom and were courteous and professional through the whole process. If youre considering a re-model, I suggest you skip Paulsons and call Runyan.

Paulson’s Construction is one of the very few that could be considered great!We hired Paulson’s Construction to remodel our bathroom and ended up with an amazing masterpiece that makes you feel as if you are in a 5 star penthouse luxury bath in some fancy hotel in New York that none of us could actually afford ever going to.It started out like this. I met Paul McClory at a car show that he runs every fall and makes sure all of the proceeds are donated to an awesome charity, The Salvation Army. He is a community focused businessman.I did almost no research on his company, just going on what a few people had said, everything that we heard was that We could expect exceptional work and that is exactly what we received.He came out to our home, assessed what we had, what we were unhappy with as well as addressing the issues that caused the original installation to fail.Next, we scheduled an appointment with Maureen at his office, now; Maureen will be a hard act for anyone to follow at any remodeling company anywhere.Maureen took us step by step through the process of showing us samples of cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and shower doors, everything that would be needed to trim the bathroom out. She was attentive, experienced and extremely thorough in the process of assisting us pick everything out.Once everything was ordered, we waited until the entire tile; plumbing fixtures and vanity cabinets arrived.We were scheduled for a Friday tear out, everything required to get things rolling was delivered to our home and the project was started.Throughout the entire project, Dave Watson constantly updated us as to what was going to happen, who was going to arrive, what time they would arrive and everything happened exactly according to that schedule, without any delays or excuses.This renovation went exactly as we had planned, was within our planned budget and the results are phenomenal.If you are planning a renovation, we would highly recommend that you hire Paulson’s and not think twice. Great contractors are hard to come by, they are not cheap, but if you want cheap, you can’t have great.
