Every moment was a positive experience!!! I felt really safe with our bus driver. Normally I dont nap, however I felt very confident in our driver and I slept all the way back from Lauberge. I read alot of bad reviews that are pre covid-19 and well I can say for myself I didnt experience nothing that was stated!!! Thank you bus driver of 937 on 7/24/21 you made our experience worthwhile!!!❤❤❤❤

It was awesome the bus driver is very patient and pleasant I had the best experience I got sick cause I didnt eat and was up alight the hotel we had reserved was across the street I thought it was waking distance but it wasnt but I slept all the way home plan on going again real soon

Great experience. We got checked in with no problems. Ride was quick and safe. You do need to have cash, they do not accept credit/debit cards. Friendly staff.

I love it. The convenience of having someone else drive that long drive while u take a nap or talk to friends is so amazing. And the price u cant beat it. I would recommend anyone to go on the bus.

I love that I can sit back and relax. It is great that the bus drivers, drive like they have some where to be. Love that basically I only pay ten dollars, because I get ten dollars in free play.

My wife and I took the bus from Houston to Lake Charles and the Golden Nugget. I was a bit confused by the pricing. I read $20 for the price but that is only if you have a Golden Nugget players card. For my wife and I it was $25 each. We got going a bit late due to some counting errors or something. I would say we left about 4:15 for a 4:00 posted departure time. We arrived as advertised, so I think the delay is built in. The bus seemed tight. It was a tour bus but it seemed smaller. The bus had WiFi but no one ever told us the password. The bus driver seemed a bit jerky with the steering but nothing too extreme. Anyway, I would take the ride again. We got about 5 hours casino time and that was plenty for me.

Bus station on Bellaire was horrible. No toilet paper or soap in the womens bathroom. Bus driver was rude and mean. Threatened to put our group of 14 senior citizens off the bus just because we were laughing and just trying to make the long bus ride enjoyable. No one was drunk or anything like that either. Said we were the most horrible and vile group in all her 10 years of driving. Everyone was scared of this lady driver. Never again on this bus. Most of us women in our group(14) are retired or are school teachers. That really makes us a vile group doesnt it????? . I wouldnt recommend this bus company to my worst enemy.

My 1st time going on a bus to casino. The ladies that answered the phone and answered all my questions were very nice and professional. It was an easy location to meet at the Brewings off I-10. The Food town meet on 8800 south Sam Houston pkwy is easy access as well. Paid 20. To go to Delta Downs. Once there, received 5.00 play, or you can get 10. Food credit.Our driver, Bert, was very professional. He was nice and made it easy to check in. We ran into minor traffic stall, but he was a GREAT driver! Very safe and nice guy! If I go again this route, I know I am in good hands with Bert. Thank you for a safe trip! I would recommend these bus tour for your casino trip!! Even a charger portal to keep cell phone charged on bus!! Wow!!!👏👌👍💯

They did not explain that you need to check in 15 minutes before. I had previously taken this service at another location, and you paid the bus driver when you got on the bus. They told us 3:50 we missed the bus, when the bus departure was at 4:00, the actual departure was 4:10. The bus driver said that the bus wasn’t full, he could add us. When we were asking about paying, the staff laughed, and when another staff asked about catching at another location, he yells and said that we missed it. Until another customer explained the alternate location is a different time, the guy says, oh, didn’t know what you were asking. When I asked for names of the employees to tell the owner, he is missing out on a small group One guy did not want to give it to me so I took his picture and he threaten to call the cops, saying I can go to jail, until my friend who works with HPD said there is no law that says I cannot take his photos. Speaks to their racism, when I challenged their thought process they threaten to call the cops???!! If you want to be treated with respect, avoid this company.

They take me to my destination safely and return me in the same way. Love not having to fight traffic!

Very racist office personnel.Also they will cancel buses unannounced and sometimes you may just find yourself stuck at the casino because bus as cancelled or broke down.And today took the cake. Left Lake Charles at 3AM only to find myself awaken one stop after stop where my car was.Racist lady behind counter talked to me like I was mentally handicapped. No appreciation for long night and bus driver not turning lights on or making announcement regarding stops. Instead of letting me take next bus back to my car she tells me its my responsibility and if it was her she would find her own way to her car if it was her. REALLY! DEJAVU is a mother. She was very racist in her attitude. Kind of a good old GOTCHA sucks to be you. But I am sure if I was her same race she would have done the logical thing and empathized. Guess I should no longer help people like her whe. they are in a predicament. If I walk by and see her being mugged or worse I will just wave and say. Best of Luck.Do the smart thing drive yourself or take a non racist bus line that cares about their customers.FYI The Gold Nugget also treats people that take the bus like second class citizens by making you wait 10 to 15 minutes before letting you disembark. They prefer old people use the nasty dirty bathrooms on the bus.Dont get stranded. Drive your own car.Stay away from the Racists.

Nice operation . I usually take ride to lauberge casino it costs 20$ for both ways whereby casino will either refund you 5$ in cash or u can reimburse 10$ for food. Never had a problem with them . Drivers are very nice.and bus is comfortable. By the way I heard they are moving location to Sharpstown mall at Bellaire from this week. Please check before you leave home. Good luck if you are going to casinos. 😁

Bus driver drives fast as hell but gets u there safe. Its always clwan. Never smell bathroom when on it thats a plus. They cancelled on trip so i had to stay a extra 2 hours outside but it was ok

Ive been riding on this bus for more than few months! Im glad they have this type of Tours bus because it sure save you gasoline and its cheaper to get to all those places :-)! I am also very happy that this company willing to drive all the way to Las Vegas especially when it comes with meals and hotel :-)! They give you great packages like when you spend $20 and you have membership half of it will go to the bus and the other half is for you to either use it to eat with or to play for free $10 worth of it :-)! Well I also love the bus you can sleep in there meet new friends and watch a great movie :-)! Thats the positive side of my comment :-)! But I do admit that these buses need more maintenance because it shakes too much and when theres electrical socket some of these buses electrical socket does not work and that needs to be fixed too so we can charge our cellular phones. Let me not forget whats you need and also so wonderful about this bus it has a bathroom for you to go use but it does need cleaning sometimes and they need to stock some more toilet paper in there and air freshener which I dont appreciate when the bus driver keep on commenting do not use the bathroom just because she doesnt want to smell the bad smell but she also needs to understand some people need to go to the bathroom especially for medical reason she needs to be also considered for those who are in that situation if you need to go you really need to go its better than holding it and then you have an accident or diarrhea on the bus seat but I do recommend do not go in there when the bus is moving because I guarantee you be rocking back and forth and its hard to go walk across the aisle to go to where you sit at I recommend if you go there when they stopped at certain area:-(! I also dont think its nice for a bus driver to ask people to give tips and having somebody that is not an employee to ask each person in a seat a cup to make you feel so uncomfortable and asking you to give a tip to the bus driver I believe that we can all understand if we want to give the bus driver for tip or not:-(! I also like that you can make reservations to reserve your seat :-)! What I dont like is that you have to wait a week each week to make a reservation! Im glad this this bus company does go to all other places :-)! What I dont like is that sometimes they tell you you have to be there at certain time they would leave you earlier than what they request and you have to wait till 3 in the morning just to come back to the city that you come from :-(! I also think its way too ridiculous that you have to pay $60 just because you lose your tickets:-(! Especially if you already paid the fair :-(! I also hate and is real dangerous when the bus driver is driving too close to the car and especially when she keep on slamming the brakes and go over the bumps which is off the freeway lines that could ruin the tires and eat up the tires threads which would cause an accident and damages in time and delay and harmful to people :-(! But, I still recommend to go on the bus tours after and hopefully they fix all these problems:-) :-(!

The bus was full so the only available seats were in front of the bus so we decided to sit there and the driver told us that we had to move. I asked why and the reason being was some guy had to say there to give him directions. Ugh!!!!!!!!!

Its just a parking lot next to Wendys. I drop off my in laws there. Theres a homeless man thata always laying in the entrance to the parking lot. Same man for a couple years now. There was glass this time I went by.

6-21-19. Bad horrible customer service at greatland tours food town. On today The 4.pm bus was late. I get there the man that handles lauberge tickets said it will be 20 minutes that the driver is running late. He told me that I could purchase my ticket now or wait. So I waited. That bus didnt show up until 5:25. I go in to get my ticket and the late bus driver mumble to the lady who is now the rep that he already got his 25 on the bus. So then she says to me well well you shouldve been got your ticket that its not her problem with a very nasty ugly tone. The driver was just standing there. I explained to the lady that the clerk before she came on gave me the option to wait and pay because no one knew what time that bus was coming. She still had an attitude and said well youre just gonna have to catch the 6:30 p.m bus. So as a Regional Manager for a large corporation I was totally in disbelief that they could not accommodate me to allow me to pay to get on the bus when the bus is 1hr 25 minutes late, they only have 25 passengers and you have me a customer that is ready to pay. We still had time. I usually tip these drivers well .Very disappointed. That lady is the only one with attitude that bad. The others are not like that. I guess they dont care about customer service or making more for this company. They couldve easily made this work. Also Lastnite 6-20-19, I took this bus they gave me a white piece of paper with the bus driver name on it to get back on. This is also so unprofessional. The owner really need to pay attention to his business and the transactions. The service is horrible at food town. Im going to start using 1st class tours or driving again.

Nicely appointed tourist bus to casino. Like their ad says: you play they drive. I can take a nap coming and going, IF the other bus riders would stop talking loud. Glad some drivers play movies on the trip,helps cut down the chatter.

Drivers are really snooty and rude.The. driver gave me a really hard time on getting on the bus back to Houston because ots was an earlier bus back. I was extremely tired and just wanted to go home .i fell asleep on the bus, the driver didnt bother to wake me . I ended up at the bus barn and then was awaken. I had to catch an Uber to my original stop. HORRIBLE SERVICES.1 🌟 is too good.

Love riding with Greatland. They have so many destination options and times for those of us with a busy schedule. Drivers are the best and extremely friendly. Beautiful and comfortable buses. A must experience for all Houstonians.

The only way to go is with Greatland Tours. I have been riding with Belinda Varnado for the past 3 year. I ride with Mrs. Belinda on Tuesday of this week and q bunch of retired school teachers were on board. They were loud, and obnoxious but Mrs. Belinda kept calm and explained to them they were no the only riders on the bus and if they could keep it down. She not once was rude or out of line, actually she handled the situation better than I would have. Because I would have pulled over and put them off. They acted as if they were the only ones on the bus. Im writing this review bcz I want u to know what a GEM you have. Mrs. Belinda handled it with grace. She spoke with kindness and explained why they needed to keep it down. Her regular riders (myself) appreacite what she did for us. Oh and their was one lady that said she doesnt deserve a tip, I want her to know we always take care of Mrs. Belinda. So what u didnt give did not hurt her. Great land Tours Mrs. Belinda is the BEST!!!

Greatland is a great bus but I dont understand why when we ride to the Golden Nugget every Sunday at 1pm the bus is always hot as if the driver just turn the a/c on before he gets to foodtown!

The drivers are very good - exception for a lady who hates passengers who didnt go in HER bus, stayed a little bit more and took HER bus to come back to Houston. She really tested me and other people who were extras in HER bus like trash.The people who attend at Foodtown are in general nice, but there are some preferences. A lady called Jennifer have endless explanations to three Mexican clients and unfortunately I was behind them. After 10 minutes I became impatient because the driver had already called everybody and all passengers were into the bus. When the woman saw that I was complaining she asked Whats happening? in a rude manner and began to delay the maximum possible evidently on purpose. I was the last person to get in the bus, that left some few minutes later.I go to Coushatta every week, sometimes more than once, I am a good client and would like to be well treated. I am normally a very polite person but everything has a limitThe three stars go to the drivers. Most of them are really nice and efficient.Thank you.

Good transportation to LA.prices keep going up. If you loose your return ticket, they will charge you $60.00Why cant they verify your information since they insist on seeing your DL each and every trip and its in the computer.

Horrible! On my b day I got on at the main location, then they picked up 3 stops, then suddenly we pull over the driver got off the bus and makes a phone call. Meanwhile the bus is hot and he never address the passengers. A couple of riders get off and they ask him whats going on. Electrical problems but another bus is comingWhich never happened he was told to go back to the last stop. With no communication from the driver I called the office. The person who answers the phone was rude, ignorant, and show no sympathy. First word was no refunds, when I was just Trying to get back home. And keep saying things happened I dont know what to tell you. You shouldnt make plans!Then They hung up the phone!!Spread the word

Worst experience of my life. First off the bus ride took forever. Left houston at 8 arrived at 12:30 midnight. Ac leaked water on my seat the whole ride. We tried to get a ride home, but was denied. Very poor customer service and no manners. Bus driver used very vulgar language. 8 would not recommend using this company to take a trip to Louisiana

Ohh nooo! I will never ride their buses again! I rode twice and both times were miserable experiences. No space in seating area, smelling and breathing foul ordor from the restroom, and shared my shoulder with a sleepy man. I was so uncomfortable for 3 hours. Long story short, I ended up losing all money and mistakenly lose my ticket. Stupid, okay, my fault. Failed to disclose that it takes $60 to get back. Watching the bus drive away, stranded with my car on their parking lot 300 miles away, coushatta nor Greatland tours had no understanding at all. Just want your money. Never again, Greatland tours sucks. Ride more comfortable on the metro bus.

THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO HIRE BETTER PEOPLE IN THEIR RESERVATIONS/CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT! PLEASE. When making a reservation, you arent given any instructions about what to do, where and how to pay (cash only, you pay the bus driver when boarding), luggage information, etc. You literally have to make sure you ask these questions yourself or youre left on your own. The girl in reservations always sounds annoyed and is very short.Not everyone who rides with this shuttle service has rode before and not everyone is riding JUST to go to the casino (I was riding because I needed a way home to Louisiana), but apparently they dont care to consider these things. I do not recommend this shuttle service at all. Piss poor customer service... please hire better people who keep the customers in mind! Also, the bus driver was very rude/sarcastic. (Coushatta bus from Gulfgate Mall).

Excellent bus service from Houston to several casinos in Louisiana, 7 days a week at various departure times. Check their website for times and pickup locations. IMPORTANT: CALL and MAKE RESERVATIONS AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE IF POSSIBLE. BRING EXACT $ PER PERSON, AS THEY SO NOT MAKE CHANGE. ADULTS ONLY, MUST BRING GOVERNMENT ID SUCH AS DRIVERS LICENSE, OR PASSPORT. Be at pickup location at least 30 minutes before departure as you will lose reservation 15 minutes before departure, and they will give your seat to people on standby who did not make a reservation.. No food or beverages offered by bus, however bring all you want to eat and drink while on bus. Buses have one toilet. Some buses are direct to casino, others stop at pick up locations enroute to the casino. If you have smart phone, bring your charger to plug on electric outlet (not USB port) at each seat, if you do not like onboard movie, most trips take about 2+ hours. Same bus and driver will bring you back. Dont be late for return trip as they will leave you. Remember to tip your driver after he safely drops you off at the end of the return trip regardless if you won or lost at the casino. Have fun and good luck.

Driver was 25 minutes late picking up and the driver was speeding and following other vehicles too closely and we were delayed an additional 30 minutes because the driver was pulled over and ticketed for speeding.

I gave 2 stars because they do get you on the casino, and leave when they say their going to. We went to Lauberge casino and the lady bus driver taking the money and writing down our information from our driver licenses was very loud and rude. Annoyed about everything rolling her eyes at people quite intimidating because she was kind of large built for a woman. This was about 3 to 4 years ago, we did report her to the office who were just as rude. We hope shes not there, or if she is hope she is not so rude... Never the less we are going again next month in June 2017, what can I say I must have a gambling addiction to put myself thru that again hahaha. We personally didnt have a problem with her because I dodnt ask ANY question. I was scared too the way she answered my sisters question. We just sat and figured things out on our own or asked the other passengers that go often .Drivers and customer service are quite rude, and its scary to ask them questions, they are always annoyed by their customers. Just yesterday we went on another line of buses Casino and that driver was annoyed too, we couldnt even look his way cause he give us a scary look, he was just mad at the world. Must be the job, I guess. We never make problems or ask questions, but they dnt greet you or smile they have the saddest/meanest faces ever and look sluggish.Hopefully the driver we have this time around is not rude or scary. I WILL be writing a review again. So hopefully the Saturdays of June the drivers have smiling faces and good attitudes.

I LIKE TRAVELING GREATLAND TOURS EVEN THOUGH I ALWAYS MISS THE BUS.

I have been riding great land tours for over 2 years now. You cant find a nicer staff and better drivers than greatland. I ride nearly weekly and i have always been treated with kindness and respect. In my opinion theres not a better shuttle service in Houston. They are number 1!Update 1 year later.... Greatland tours is like fine wine, they just keep getting better. I have ridden for over three years now. They know me by my first name ( I love to play slots) lol anyway I have been blessed so I always try to bring the kind, courteous staff some good kolaches from Praseks in Sealy tx when I come up. I live in a little town west of Sealy so I have to drive 60 miles to get there, but also if I drove it would still be another 200 miles one way. The tickets are $20. Bucks but at my favorite Coushatta you get$10. Back in free play so it really just costs $10. With the perk. Id spend at least$60. On gas if I drove the remainder myself. Another plus is I am a diabetic and I get so sleepy at times, on the bus I can sit back, sleep, love the 80s rythem and blues music etc Im am chillaxin to the core. In all this time Ive never really had any major incidents with passengers, I always try to be courteous, mind my own business but if they want to have a conversation Im game in fact Ive made a lot of Houston friends of all colors and nationalities as most are great people. The drivers are always excellent, professional and courteous and if you occasionally catch one that isnt I used to have a CDL these drivers can be under severe pressure and responsibility and maybe their just having a not so good day. Everyone has thier unique life problems etc. So we shouldnt be selfish but show kindness and remember we can all have days with nothing going right so be understanding. The buses are always clean, most of the time restrooms no oder etc. I used to ride on a line run from a competitor west of San Antonio, dirty dilapidated buses, the bathrooms reeked, clattered, vibrated etc. I know greatland tours stands out as one of the best. No one or nothing is perfect but Greatland comes close. Thier charter busses are gems and if you need a charter definitely go with them, the drivers are also top of the line. Theyll make that special charter trip a joy. God bless Greatland!!

Good bus to sleep on slept all the way

We had of twelve on the bus to Isle of Capri casino. Although the bus driver told us about the time, the hotel refuse to page one of our group members. The bus driver made the announcement they have a schedule to keep, and left her at the hotel. Originally we didnt get to the hotel until after 12 noon and he left at 9am. I will not be back on THIS bus trip.
