I had an AMAZING experience with Clayton Services. Everyone in this office made me feel so comfortable. I interviewed with Tasha and received a call 2 days later to start immediately. I was in a very tough position when I applied but Clayton Services helped me overcome it by giving me an opportunity. Vicki the branch manager is awesome and will do what is needed to ensure you get a job immediately. Tasha was also very helpful, gave great advice/pointers, and overall is a great person. Clayton works hard to get people the positons theyre wanting, very polite, and welcoming. I could go on about this office and how great they were. They were able to get me a full-time job that is permanent. I didnt expect any of this when I started, but Im so glad I went forward with it because it turned out to be a great experience and opportunity. Thank you very much everyone for all the help. I wouldnt be doing well if it wasnt for each and every one of you guys. You guys rock!

Terrific experience, and if I could give more than 5 stars I would! Very professional, but I could tell that they took a very personal interest in helping me to succeed in finding a job that I was really excited about. Within the first week I received a job offer and started work immediately. First class treatment-start to finish!

The best staffing agency Ive ever worked through! The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable, as well as professional and very hands-on. Christina and Vicky were very diligent in helping me find work that I would enjoy and paid well. Travis was very helpful any time I called in with questions as well. They found me a position within a week until they found a more fitting position for me, I worked for the company through Clayton for about 3 months and was hired on after that. I would highly recommend Clayton to anyone looking to get hired on through a staffing agency.

I had a wonderful experience with Clayton Services as a job seeker. They very quickly found me a temp job after I was laid off. I was officially told it was only for one day, but they also let me know that the company was likely looking to replace their office manager, and just be myself and they were sure the company would ask me back the following week (the first day I temped there was a Friday). Clayton Services was correct, I was interviewed the first day, asked to return the following week, and within two weeks had an official offer. Almost a year later I am still with the amazing company, and love my job. Now as an employer I can say that Clayton Services is fantastic. Our needs are filled quickly when a temp is needed, and weve never had an issue with any of them.

I interviewed with Clayton Services over a year ago. My interview was one of a kind, they really take their time to get to know you. I was very surprised at how quick they were able to place me in a temporary position. When the temp position ended they offered me to join their team. I feel honored to have worked with such a great group of people. Clayton Services was more than just work, it was family. Vicki, Travis, Brenda, Sue and the rest of the team work very hard to help people find their dream jobs and for that they deserve more than 5 stars. I applied here almost a year ago. I received a quick call back, and set up an interview. I honest thought that the call was to tell me that i didnt qualify for any of their positions. I went in for an interview and Christian was very impressed with the jobs i have done previously. I was told that I would be called back if anything came available. In a couple of days I received a call back with 3 great paying positions. I choose 1 that was closer to my home. With that being said, i got hired full time with the company. Clayton always call and email me to make sure i didnt need anything from them. I will recommend anyone who is serious about finding great quality jobs to apply here.

Last I called in as available, Florence Flo Harbison was very abrupt and rude when I politely but concisely called in for a follow-up inquiry re: the type of positions they may be working on. She practically blurted out,No, there is nothing available at this time and practically hung the phone up in my face! Not surprising considering her ingenious, somewhat dismissive mannerism during a not-so-long ago, sit-down interview. Even if she was busy, theres no excuse for that as I was not long-winded but very much to the point. So much for calling in available each week.I am seriously considering reporting this agency to the EEOC based on their placement practices. Id worked for these people before, though usually only securing low-paying bottom of the barrel positions despite my professional qualifications and proven competence when applying for more professionally compatible positions. There was only one recruiter whom Id recommend for treating me like a professional and a human being worthy of respect but (OF COURSE) she hasnt been with Clayton for a while now.BE WARNED: All applicants are not treated equally here. Yes, that means Black people in particular. Lets just keep it real.

I truly enjoyed working with Clayton Services, I have nothing but nice things to say about the representatives that worked with me and helped me find a job that fits my needs. I was placed on a temporary assignment, I was told that it was only going to be for two days, I was hesitant because I really wanted something permanent but I went anyway. The manager kept asking me to come back the next day, they were not looking to hire someone from an agency full-time, but guess what, Im now a full time employee with the company after working temporary for a month and a half. I have the wonderful staff at Clayton to thank for that. They worked with me for several months and I am truly grateful for their commitment to helping me find a job that will eventually turn into my new career. Thanks guys!!!!

Very friendly professional atmosphere, and at the same time extremely friendly. Every office visit is welcoming and the staff is quick and to the point. Ive received many great jobs through Clayton and have met great people during all my work with them. :)

Clayton Personnel is the only staffing company that was truly professional, and never gave up until I was hired full time in a great company. Travis was a joy to work with and was always following up with me to make sure I was ok. When they interview you they take the time to get to know you so they can place you in the right position. I did not have to wait long for a call back before I was placed. I highly recommend them for anyone who is tired of other staffing places who dont even call back and give you the run around.

I recently got laid off from my job a couple months ago and it was sad to find out how misleading and a complete waste of time it is to try and find work with Clayton. I live in the Southwest side but still managed to make it 15 minutes early to my interview. I was dressed professionally and groomed well. I had a limited amount of money when I applied at Clayton and was pinching pennies trying to save as much as I could for my next set of bills. They make you print out applications that are more than one page, verification forms, and multiple copies of your resume for your initial interview. I dont have a printer at home so I spent an estimated 12.00 at Fed Ex to print all the documentation I had to being with me to the initial interview. I also had to fill up my gas tank (30.00) to make it to my interview and still have gas for the remaining two weeks before my unemployment was approved. Please note that I have several years of mortgage, accounting, and administrative experience. I passed all 10-15 tests that emailed me with either an A or B. In addition, Im a student, so I had to fit in all those and put off my school work to make sure I completed them in one day to speed up the recruitment process. I was anxious and scared. This is my first layoff. I did not know what to expect. It took me almost an hour to get to their office and back home. I thought my interview went well and I was almost sure that I would get called back for the Administrative Assistant position that was ranked at 19.00 per hour when I applied for the position. That position was the only reason I applied with Clayton to begin with. I interviewed with a Tasha McCardle and never received a follow-up call or anymore emails after my interview. I took it upon myself to call and follow-up with any availabilities and even brought up the fact that the position I applied for matched my salary range. Tasha stated that the position had been filled and that they did not offer positions at the salary that I desired. This is why I say that the company is very misleading. I am over qualified for the position I applied for based on my experience and even willing to accept $19.00 per hour at that. I find it a little hard to believe that I got three other job offers and Clayton could not find me any assignments at all. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I honestly believe that this company has a bias talent recruitment process and does not do business with the applicants in mind. In addition, they conduct a very personal background check on people in which they ask questions and require prior supervisors to rank their prior employees on a scale of 1-5. This is a very extreme way of doing background checks in Texas and it even made my previous employer uneasy. I had one previous supervisor - my supervisor prior to my prior supervisor deny the background check because she was no longer my supervisor. HR did not even feel comfortable filling it out because it was extremely different than the general back ground checks that most employers conduct. I was so embarrassed to get a call from my prior employer in regards to a background verification. I have never had this happen before. It should not be this hard to complete a background check on someone. It was too personal and leaves room for incorrect information being transferred over to the receiving end. I felt that I did not get any chance at all with this company to show my true talents. Its a shame. I would suggest L.K. Jordan and Associates for your temporary or direct hire needs. I was with them for a whole year before I became permanent at my prior employer and I was with my prior employer for five years. Goes to show what type of employee I am. One with good tenure and high level of skill. They lucked out on some money! Dont waste your time with Clayton. They will not pay you what you are worth. The cost of living in Houston is way to high these days to accept anything under $18.00 per hour. Youre worth so much more and dont ever forget that!
