Had our pool installed by prior owned company AAM. Happy to hear the new company ownership kept the best employees and records!! Had a patch done to get me through til new liner was available, great service!
We have used this company twice for installation. Even though it was another group of guys for the second installation of a 27 round pool they left us very impressed as the first time with the work ethic, professionalism and their effort for perfection in the installation. The owners of the company are as quick and responsive through out the process answering questions, scheduling and checking in with us . Would recommend to all my friends if they are in the market for a pool .
After calling to inquire about the cost of an above ground pool I was offered a home consultation. I was very pleased with the package price offered during my consultation, the professionalism of the staff and their ability to answer all my questions. Two weeks later my pool was delivered and professionally installed. The crew did an amazing job! My pool looks great and the pump equipment is a very high quality. The company has been responsive to questions that I have had since the installation. I look forward to my working with Mark at AAM Company for my pool needs.
I had to have a new liner installed and called AAM pools. They were very helpful and were willing to come all the way to the no where place that I live. Close to a hundred miles out. They ordered the liner and came out the next week and installed it. I am filling the pool with water and so far everything is great!
Called company to have them install an above ground pool the lady set up an appointment gave us a quote on how much they charge, we gave her all our information for installation. A day before the installation date I called to confirm appointment and get an arrival time and the same lady said she didn’t have us on the system. When we told her every detail on our previous call, she said she was going to check her notes on the date we spoke and would call us back, needless to say she never called back. We were lucky to find another company right away to install our pool the next day.
AAM Pool Company brings it! Top notch wor everytime! These are the guys you need to call if you want things done right the first time.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a business.Ordered and installed wrong liner.Didn’t complete jobs after multiple attempts, (pool still leaks)Unprofessional staff/owner, once your check clears, they are nice on the initial visit.Multiple cancelled/no show on scheduled appointments.Owner left harassing voice messages.Left trash and old materials scattered among our yard.Charged 150 for a 10 dollar item (should have researched but, I thought I was dealing with honest company).I would not refer this company to anyone.Scam artist.
Went to address on web site and it was a house. Phone was not in service. ???
Daniel and his team came to my house yesterday to replace my 27’ liner. Less than 24 hours later I am very pleased at the job Daniel and his team did. The liner looks great. He was very professional and informative. The level of expertise was impressive. It didn’t take them long to replace the liner and I was surprised at how well it was and is stretching / smoothing out as I fill the pool. Thank you for a job well done!
Mark came out to our house and created a great pool package for me and my family.About one week later, the crew showed up and installed the pool. They were very nice and told us how everything works. The entire process was a great experience. If you are looking for an above ground pool in the Houston area, I highly recommend AAM.
We are very happy to recommend AAM Pool Company. Excellent prices and excellent workmanship.
Mark and AJ sure know above ground pools! After Harvey, our pool needed some serious Mark and Aj were prompt, courteous and answered all of our recommended.
Cameron and his crew were great! Very polite and very helpful. My new pool liner looks great! They did an excellent job. I highly recommend AAM Pool Company.
We have had three pools in two different homes installed and I have referred them to friends. My last pool installed just a few weeks ago we had issues but they corrected everything. The owner Mark has always gone above and beyond helping me after the pool was paid for.Mark Palmer
AAM Pools are the refer customers to them on a daily basis and 100% of them are very satisfied with their work.
This is worse pool company to do ANY business with . DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.This company came last summer to put in our liner into our pool. Like other reviews they were nice until the check cleared. When they came out to put our liner in they LEFT the pump running and water got in between the liner and wall(of course blamed me) . Finished the process and had balls of granite sticking out everywhere. They came out to “push” them back in. Pennies were left in the tracking instead of the white string that should be in there . It messed up mid summer and he came out told my husband don’t worry about the charge of $150 because that was their fault. Mind you pennies are still in there I’ll this day.Now this summer the liner fell out of the track and has ripped by a jet. I called last week to come out and fix it . STEVIE is who I spoke with ( who has no idea what she is doing) said yea I’ll put you down for Wednesday but you have to pay $150 okay fine. Gave my info . Stevie called on Wednesday and said ma’am we have someone to come out on “Thursday” but the services guy truck broke down. I made it clear we were scheduled for Wednesday . Whatever . I called the following week which was last week to schedule for this Wednesday .i called to confirm on my lunch Wednesday she said yes still scheduled to go out today. Wednesday night came and nothing . I was livid.. I called this morning and she says oh ma’am your He second person to call and say we didn’t go I’ll call you back. Stevie never calls you back. Don’t hold your breath. I called on my lunch break again to see what’s going on . She says oh you were scheduled for Friday but the tropical storm is affecting our area so I’m not sure now . This is ridiculous. I had my mother call and speak with mark which is the owner and basically said he isn’t coming anymore that the issue was minor. We cannot full our pool up because of this issue . I have 2 boys that have been waiting for this to get fixed and still waiting. The $159 that they pulled from my acct was from prior because he stated we owed that (which was told to my husband we didn’t have to pay for their mistake) idk how they have business still. My mother told him we were going to put a review about this and he said it’s okay I have 100s more customers . This is not the end on this either.
They have helped me over the years with new equpiment and do highly recommend.
I referral all my clients to AAM Pool Company! They are by far the best pool company on the North Side of Houston. As a realtor, I am very cautious when I give referrals. With AAM Pools, I am not. Over the last 3 years, every single client I sent their way was 100% pleased with their work. They always speak very highly of them.If you are looking for a great company for service or new installation, call AAM!
Too bad I can’t leave zero stars. Poor quality work. Multiple no call no show to appointments. Lazy workers. These guys actually came back to “clean their mess” and threw the trash/sand over our fence onto someone else’s property. Poor customer service, poor work ethic, zero respect for customer satisfaction. NOT A FAKE REVIEW.
Mark and his staff were very professional. The job was complete in a timely manner and took extra precaution when installing my liner in my above ground pool. They also answered any questions and concerns that I had. I would highly recommend Mark and his staff with AAM Co.
You cannot go wrong with AAM. Excellent service and excellent work.
This guy is a total crook, he subbed the install out to someone else who did not burry the steel below the liner and did not put down the sand or perlite required per the manufacturer. He also refused to correct his crummy work after acknowledging the trashy job.NOT A FAKE Review you lying crooks, do you want me to post your receipt as well. Take me to court, I dare you...
We had AAM out to our house to help us get our pool up and running. They had very competitive pricing and were responsive. We cannot say enough good things about them. Thanks Mark!
AAM.CO did a great job with the installation of my pool liner. They were friendly, courteous, and professional, and worked with me to get the liner installed in time for a party I was holding. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
They recently came out to my home on July 31 to patch a hole in my pool a tec by the name will didnt patch it correctly I have called mark several times he said he would get back with me but he doesnt answer his phone they take your money with no problem. Stay away from this facility
You can trust these guys! They are the best in the business! A +++. We have used them many times! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service!
AAM just saved my pool liner for a second time! Thank you Aj and Cameron!
DO NOT USE AAM. Zero stars not possible. 05Sept19: D+ BBB rating! Update 20Apr19: So AAM decided to actually reply to my complaint with the BBB. They did not disclose many of the events that occured. They didnt address the fact that we added wording to the deposit invoice summarizing what needed to be addressed. They again brought up the fact that I paid all but $100 of the total invoice and insisted that I pay. They have made zero effort to come out and address the concerns. Be very careful with this company.Update 06Apr19: After all of this and he canceled numerous appt to come out and see what my complaints were, they actually sent me a bill yesterday for the remaining $100. I purposely didnt pay the last $100 so the owner would have to stay in contact with me to fix the issues. Apparently, his intentions are to make appts he will not attend, not honor his contract and more importantly his word. I have already filed with the BBB which he doesnt apparently care about because there are other complaints on there he has done nothing about, but its a process. I will be filing small claims court paperwork in the next few days. I will try to update the review as things move along.Update: I finally had a chance to get in the pool and do a more thorough inspection of the work they did. The only smooth sections I have under the liner are the sections they didnt do anything too. The bottom and edges of the pool have dimples under the liner, which they were suppose to fix, where dirt and algae can settled. Many of them I can not even clean out with the manual vaccuum after the auto vaccuum has finished. I have to physically get in the pool and clean them out as some of them are an inch deep. Around the main suction drain, the liner is about 2 inches lower than the drain. It seems I am not the only one with similar issues. I ordered a replacement pool liner and installation with them. While they were in sales mode, the service was to come with new liner trim pieces including the liner railing, suction and vent pieces. They also were going to repair the curve in the pool under the liner around the bottom corner of the liner. This sand or whatever they put is standard on pools as it allows the pool cleaners to move up the side of the pool. It also helps prevent the liner from trying to squeeze through the seem at the very bottom corner. More importantly, it is recommended by the manufacturer. I am glad I wrote all of this on the receipt when I gave them the initial payment. However, they missed 2 appts and called the morning of about 15 to 20mins late to say we were still scheduled for tomorrow. They didnt replace all of the trim pieces or the liner tracking that holds the liner up and didnt repair the curve at the bottom edges in the pool. Also, there is a footprint under the liner where I guess one of the guys stepped in the pool crete. Now that they arent in sales mode, they have no idea what I am talking about as if they dont work on pools. I will update as things progress but this far, they cant keep appts and Im not even sure I am speaking to a pool company anymore. And of course, they cant seem to make it out to even look at the pool.I guess I wasnt surpised to find other complaints on the BBB website. They have a B- rating, which I should have checked prior to hiring them. In terms of BBB ratings, that is bad. I filed a complaint through BBB, but based on what Im seeing on the BBB website and the fact AAM never even registered with BBB I dont expect much response from AAM. It seems all of this starting going down hill for AAM about a year ago and my recent experience clearly indicates they do not desire to be a Better Business. Small claims court is next if they dont provide the service as agreed and promised. Also, they canceled another appt with a text. No phone call. And its been 5 days with no attempt from them to reschedule. His reply to a complaint below is false, the things he says he would not do in his reply are just some of EXACTLY what he is doing with my project.
Had this company move an existing pool and reassemble at different location.. I was told by owners son they would clean up the parts before reassembling the pool. They didnt clean anything. Owner told me they dont clean anything and hed let his employee ( son AJ ) know. They also lost parts to my light and broke parts that hold the frame together. Mark the owner said to bad. Ill have to buy replacement parts and fix it myself. They wont do anything to make it right. Mark keeps blaming the people he has working for him. My recommendation would be to find someone else to help you. This guy doesnt care after he has his money. He wont do anything to take care business.
This is not a competitor this company does extremely Poor quality work they quoted three days and it actually took literally 3 weeks they actually refused to do the work a certain way and left dirt all over our yard after they were paid they left a mess and disappeared would strongly advise against using this company rude employees and owner did nothing when he was told about the lack of work dont at the two week mark staright thrash
These people are morons. How they stay in business is beyond me. Keep expectations low. Failed to show up for estimate, despite the fact I took off work to be there, and verified twice with them. Then wanted to reschedule, but when I gave my availability, apparently dont work at those times. Clearly dont need any new customers.
I always try to give someone the benefit of the doubt ! I have called these people numerous times since July 31 regarding a patch job on a pool that was not taken care of! I noticed the check was cashed right away ! The man on the phone basically tells me Ill get back with you of course that never happened ! The mans name is Will that came to my home to do the patch job ! Here I was thinking about having them put in a new pool glad I didnt ! My advice is to go somewhere else !
Currently not carrying pools due to covid.
My dad hired yall and yall just finally finished a few days ago... We tried getting mark out here and telling him what all was wrong but he didnt want to drain the pool to fix the problem. We were told 3 days it took over 3 weeks... When they finally decided to not use the excuse of being to muddy they came and set up the pool and I was told that day they would stay out till it was done but instead had another contractor fredvinylpools come and fix there screw up and to do all the connections with filters and everything. The pool is still not level and because they have used the excuse of the mud they pilled everywhere being to muddy when it hardly ever rained. The bosses son AJ was a huge ass asking tge African American all kids of rude things like if his kids believed in a black Santa and eater bunny he would argue with u to the point of no end he was down right rude... They never brought there own drinks they asked once to get water I said yes because it is hot outside they they just kept helping there self to water and soda... My yard is still a huge mess from all the dirt my 2yr old cant even play out back because the dirty is so high by the pool Im scared he will try and climb in and when I told them that they had no care in the world... One side of my pool tge dirt is flat but the other side its more then half way up the side its down right pathetic I personally dont think this company should have gotten a dime of money for there careless job and plum lazzyness... And as far as Zac bailey comment I didnt know he was posting on here also thats my husband and to clear everything up Im a girl not a guy... I just know I will continue to tell my friends and family to not use this company as they and rude and do a horrible job
Very Happy with the time it took to put up, and the work, Grate Job,
This company came out and replaced my liner, when they left my liner came lose and I have leaks, I have had this pool for mor than ten years and have not had a proem with it until marks crew touched, the parts on my pump have had to be tightened by my self. When I called them back to fix my Pool they came and put pennys in my liner to secure it. The pool still leaks. They were suppose to sand me rough edges down and dont now my pool is leaking from the bottom, he gave me a price and than rIsed it after completion. he attempted to charge for for the placement of the pennys. They have not attempted to fix my problem,, the worst customer service ever. If u erase this I will continue to tell the truth u til my problem is fixed, Gary
My experience with this company was the worst experience I have ever had with any one single company in my entire life. I feel like I was ripped off and Im positive I was. Here it is, the best I can summarize from start to finish.1. Mark was very nice until my check cleared.2. Waited two weeks after the projected date of installation (which was due before July 4th.)3. Orifginal Pool ladder was supposed to be changed out to a step system to hold up more weight. A 150.00 charge was added onto the original price for this convenience.4. The pool ladder was left by them in pieces for me to put together and install myself. (I quote You look like a smart guy, you can tackle this alone, right?)5. No liner protection was left for the step system (it is supposed to come with suction cups on the feet for inside the pool to protect vinyl liners).6. Screws were missing and ladder system was dirty possibly indicating it was used.7. No bag of sand was left to weigh the system down.8. Finally someone arrived with the bag of sand (which was ripped and basically useless) and a cheap mat that kept floating up to the top of the water.9. Three weeks in, I had a leak at the return which was an after market light that they had installed.10. A week later someone came out to fix the light. - Probably the only actual solved problem with this company.11. Argued about the step system and even confirmed with the manufacturer that it was the older model that they do not make anymore and does not meet the weight requirements we had discussed prior to me paying.12. Asked that I get the filter system hard plumbed in place of the bad ladder system 75.00 value. After days of arguing, Mark had agreed on this but the plumbing was just GOD aweful as no shut valves were installed and the only way to change any parts would be to cut and replumb. So I now have hard permanent plumbing connected and adhered right to my filter and pump. RUINED and no way to detach.13. Had a break in the liner after about 2 months, well within the one year warranty period and was told I would still have to pay to have the liner repaired by them.14. During installation a pipe for my sprinkler system was punctured and simply capped off, later causing an issue with it leaking and of course me having to pay someone else to repair it yet again.15. Above all the pool looks very UNPROFFESSIONAL, sitting a whopping 3.5 off level. Very visible to the naked eye and very unsettling. All of the pillars surrounding the outter wall are popping screws now (nearly a year later) and it just looks very bad! The pillars are all crooked as well which really makes the poor workmanship stand out the most.I have pics and emails proving all of this, so if Mark decides to reply to this, which I am almost positive he will, I can show you literature and pictures to prove it all.In conclusion, this was the worst feeling after purchase I have ever experienced and since I was treated so poorly, I have made this a little side project of mine to warn everyone of this company. Now that my 1 year warranty is approaching completion (not that he honors it anyway) I have already posted negative feedback on Consumer affairs, Better Business Bureau (BBB), Service Magic, Angies list and the list goes on! I will be showing an actual video on Youtube as well with footage of them doing the work and footage of what the pool looks like after a year.
Not bad. But we need more. thank You.
Great company and some very nice people.
Excellent service! Highly recommend AAM!
Very professional!
Mark really tried to help me. I appreciate his cooperation very much
They replaced my linner for $3,000, which lasted less than a year. Charged a few hundred to patch up a tear, due to there sloppiness, and it didnt even last an entire week. This company is a joke. Wish I would have listened to my friend. Glad Karma will get to this company.
Amazing!!!
