I have used Square Cow several times and have always found them to be prompt and professional. The “move” today rearranging furniture was a breeze! Rich and Tyler took great care to move all of my belongings respectfully, promptly, and arranged exactly as I requested. Rich and Tyler in particular made me feel that I could trust their ability to disassemble and reassemble any kind of furniture including a treadmill and an oversized complicated bed! I was extremely impressed with the amount of time they took to arrive and to get the job done, worth every penny! Rich and Tyler get 5 stars in my book!My singular complaint with square cow would be that in the past I became informed that anything broken during a move comes directly out of employees’ paychecks from the team of movers— meaning even if they themselves did not break the item they will pay for it! I also found out that they have to use their own tools on the jobs last time I was moved. I don’t think either of these strategies show appreciation for human capital; and in a moving company human capital is literally the majority of the business model! I feel strongly that it is the company’s responsibility to supply tools and insurance for their employees and for that reason I gave 4 stars. With such respectful and hardworking employees, I hope square cow will consider treating them with more appreciation in the future instead of instilling what I believe to be an environment of fear and self-preservation.

All around excellent experience with Square Cow movers! We got reminders and calls 24 hours before our move, and Ben called us when he and his crew were on their way. They were prompt, efficient, and took great care in carefully wrapping and moving our furniture. Will definitely use them again for future moves and highly recommended Square Cow to all of our friends!

First pick up was north in the Woodlands area, then south to the Heights then the final destination...my new apartment the westchse area. Professional, courteous, very, very polite and nice guys.. James and Reece with Square Cow Movers came out to help us get moved from a fifth floor apartment to our house. They were on time and got to work on the move immediately. They were worked very quickly but made sure to take the time to prep all of our furniture properly so that nothing was damaged. They handled a couple hiccups, including navigating a fire truck around their truck, with a great attitude and did a great job overall. Id happily recommend these guys to anyone.

Ive revised my prior review - I had a manager reach out to me to discuss some of the issues we faced on moving day.The only recommendation Id have is for the company to provide easier routes for feedback, with GM emails for different locations to provide photos etc.For the consumer, make your instructions clear and it certainly helps to be there to direct the movers.As for the movers, another reviewer compared them to Chic-Fil-A employees and in my experience, he was spot on. Very friendly and some even played with my daughters while assembling a bed frame.

I called 4 guys out to move a curved couch and very large king size headboard up a set of winding stairs in a townhome and they did a fantastic job. They were able to get both items up the stairs after a different crew from another location said they were unable to get the items up. Never expected to get the service we got. We’re motivated to get completed than we were, I think. Took great care with what they were doing and WOW, did they move fast. Ran back to get more after each load in the truck. Used them in May and would highly recommend!!

First to the appointment that was scheduled. I had another company scheduled to move me and they cancelled by text message the day before! I called Square Cow and they set me up right away. The movers were so courteous and professional! They worked so hard under tough circumstances. It rained all day. But they got the job done. I’m so happy. Exceeded my expectations! The guys were quick and were able to get all my things out of the storage really quickly! At the storage, they were able to wrap my white headboard and my velvet couch so they wouldn’t get dirty. Value for price is spot on and I would recommend them to anyone!

The Square Cow Moovers (Central Houston Branch) that handled our moove were GREAT! From the initial phone calls with the office Team (Danni Jo) to the Head Moover for our move (Edgar), to the last box ... our experience with Square Cow was fantastic. This was an out-of-town destination move, and the set-pricing was important, as were their very favorable online reviews that we found during our search to find a good company to move our family. This was a tough job - and on days of record heat of 100-degrees and higher. Not once did any of the Moovers complain. Yes, we had plenty of cold Gatorade and water for them, but they earned every bit of it. This involved multiple trucks, and the collective Teams were great. Upon arrival, they placed protective covers on the door frame of our front door that was going to be the entry and exit point during the move, and then did the same, including floor mats, at our destination house. At one point after a couch was loaded, I got the vacuum cleaner to vacuum the rug that the furniture was on. Before I could turn it on, a Team member said I will take care of that, and he proceeded to vacuum the carpet, as well as other carpets in the house prior to loading. The Moovers were courteous, quick and efficient at all times. Well done by all! Thank you!

Did an excellent job, very thorough and professional.The only very small complaint I would offer is that they were almost a little too thorough for my liking. The movers were very diligent to make sure everything was wrapped good before loading so as to ensure no tears, breaks, or scratches. Personally I would have preferred they reduce that in half to save time and get the move done a little faster. Just my personal preference/opinion.

Great price, efficient, and took great care with our possessions!They were extremely courteous, professional, and efficient. Our moving crew showed up at 8am just as they said they would and worked so quickly that they finished moving everything two hours quicker than we had planned. Quicker didnt mean sloppier either - everything made it to our place (nothing missing / left on the truck - a fear of mine), nothing was broken...and our new place has wooden floors - they covered up the floors to ensure that there were no scratches or dents made. We were extremely impressed and will definitely be using them again!!

My experience with Square Cow was unfortunately second hand and because of there movers lack to communicating issues back to their bosses. My rent house, in which they moved my renter and disconnected the washing machine. Once the water was turned back on the broken pipe at washing machine box flooded my home. Causing major damage.Square Cow refused to accept responsibility. Even though my insurance covered all the damage under my policy, Square Cow would not even cover my deductible. Attached document shows that the pipe was broken at the time of the move and not afterwards as they insisted. Use a company that will not only treat your property as if it was theirs, but the home in which they are moving you out of, or in to, with the same respect.Good Luck

I asked Square Cow to move my furniture and boxes from a 7 x 7 storage unit to a U-Pack (moving pod). The U-Pack would then be shipped to my final destination. The movers called me 30 minutes after they started and told me they were done. I was shocked and ask to see proof. They then provided me with pictures showing that my items were haphazardly packed and not wrapped. I told them to wrap my items and they obliged. When the items arrived there were countless scratches and gouges and several items were completely destroyed.You may be wondering how this is possible. Its because the movers did not actually wrap the items. They threw a blanket over the front of the items so it would appear as if they were wrapped and would not have to repack. Additionally, they did not tape the padding to the items.I called upon the receipt and shared my dismay. They told me to file a claim which I have; however, they informed me that theyre not responsible for this because it was not moved via their trucks. There is no doubt in my mind that if the items would have been properly packed they would have arrived in perfect condition. My glassware and plates did and I packed those myself! I would recommend that you stay away from Square Cow unless you plan to micromanage them. I hope theyll re-visit my situation and realize that this is not a good way to run a business.

I am unsure whether I can recommend this company - the unpackers that arrived after the fact were great, but damage to my $5000 mattress was more than frustrating. *note: this company was hired by my apartment complex due to a relocation requirement.

Did a great job for me. The gentlemen (Austin and Mr. Napper, Michael I think) that moved me were polite and professional. Would use again! Great job and equitably priced-I called two other companies and there were right at the same price per hour or so. Super happy I chose Square Cow! Went from a one story condo to two story place with a tight staircase. They put pieces in a couple different places for me bc I didnt know the exact placement I wanted and were so patient. Over the years I have moved a lot and they definitely had the professionalism I needed in a moving company.

We are so impressed with Square Cow Moovers. Their team is incredibly polite and respectful. They were quick, on time, and made our move from Houston to Austin so much easier than expected. We have a lot of glass and crystal and not one piece was damaged. We would highly recommend!

My family hired Square Cow to move us from a three-story townhouse to a two-story home and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We worked with Aaron, Paul and Andre who were all super organized, helpful, friendly and efficient (even finishing half and hour earlier than planned). They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire process, even checking in mid-way to ask if there was anything they could be doing better. We’ve moved 10+ times and this was hands down the best experience we’ve ever had. Their rates are very fair and even included assembling and disassembling big furniture such as our bed, baby’s crib, etc. We will never use anyone else moving forward!

Love Square Cow. Had a great experience using them years ago in Austin, so I booked them again here in Houston. Austin and Stephan did a great job, and were polite and friendly to boot. Highly recommend.

Two movers (Rob & Dupree) really helped make the move a success! I used SCM after receiving two recommendations, now I see why.

Amending my previous review. Square Cow prides itself on good manners and customer service. The crews are not only very respectful to you but also to each other. Youll hear them saying, Yes Sir and Thank you to each other and checking in on one another from time to time to make sure everyone is doing okay. Also I never felt like the guys were being lazy or hiding out in the truck and they never once complained or looked exasperated about having to go up three flights of stairs (Ive experience that with some other popular moving companies in town!) I had JQs 3 person crew the first move and Joe & Ben for my second move.I did experience a glitch with their systems ability to process payment on my last move which caused a lot of frustration but the City Manager, Chris Kersey, was very good about finding a resolution and making it right.This is small business making their way into the Houston movers market and their trucks are all large and in great condition. Give them a try your next move!

The movers were totally on point (even jogging between moving items)! They were also extremely flexible & went above & beyond to make sure all my needs were met. A++, very satisfied & no question who Im using for my next move :)

I had applied for this company recently. I was looking at working in one of the Houston locations off of Spring Cypress Rd. I had my interview with someone by the name of Gavin. The interview went smoothly, and the remainder of the interview we had discussed that I could start May 1st, and that I just had to fill some paperwork before hand. However, whenever I had contacted Gavin via text in regards to filling the paperwork, I was ignored and left on read. Nevertheless, it seemed quite unreasonable to tell someone they are starting one day, and then just get completely ignored and dismissed. Never had this happen to me before.

Cam and his crew did a wonderful job for us! We were so impressed! They were very professional, polite and courteous and asked all kinds of questions about where and how we wanted things moved which we so appreciated. We were a little disorganized when the crew showed up (they were actually a little early which was great!) but our disorganization didnt slow them down at all. And when moving our things, they were incredibly careful and didnt dent, ding or scratch a single thing. I dont have a single complaint. Hopefully we wont be moving anytime soon, but I know for any future moves, we wont be hiring anyone other than Square Cow! In fact, Ive already recommended you to my best friend for her move in August. Thank you so much for an awesome moving experience!
