I get my nails done pretty frequently, and especially for special occasions. I went on a trip this weekend and wanted to have my nails done for the trip. I had never been here, but I went with a friend and I thought the facility was so nice and clean. I was excited about getting my nails done because the service was great! Everyone there was very accommodating the minute I walked in the door. However, I have to give a one star review because the reason why I came here was to get my nails done and the actual job was done poorly. I got a dip manicure, as I do every single time I get my nails done, and it chipped after 8 days! After 2 years of getting dip manicures, the dip has NEVER chipped on me before. I stopped getting shellac because I noticed my dip nails never chipped. I am sad to say that now the dip manicure has failed me and I believe its because of the poor job that was done at this place. I am truly disappointed because I thought my nails looked great after I had just gotten them done! I have attached a photo.

I got a shellac manicure and it costs $31, comes with a hot wax!!!It’s a great deal and the quality is amazing.I left my old nail place because they messed up on my manicures many times.This place also prints out item-price so you know exactly what you are paying for.Highly recommend them!Updates :Love my cat eye toes! My local friend introduced me this place a couple of years ago. I never book an appointment in advance at Q nails because I know - no master will disappoint you. Every time I came here for dip, shellac, pedi or classic I left satisfied and it lasted for weeks. I do have other nail salons I go to, but I def like Q nails a lot.

Great salon, very clean..Only reason not 5 stars is because they charge for everything. Glitter on two nails, 5 bucks. Full set but need one fake nail, 5 bucks. Full set, 5 bucks for removal. Getting a pedicure? 5 bucks to cut shorter. They do good work dont get me wrong, but just beware their listed prices are misleading. Most salons do not charge for these things. 75 for a full set was a bit much, but the wine, pedicure and talented staff made it worth it. I will be returning.Update! I added a photo of my Disney nails done by Tina Le as an example! She did a fantastic job and I got so many compliments on them on my trip!

Generally I like this place a lot. I go there every 2/3 weeks. The service is always nice (however not very talkative), there is huge color selection. They always have 2 nails artists available at the same time. However I question hygiene and cleanliness. I am not a big fan of cleaning blue towels they use while making manicure. Also not everyone use disposable gloves. Pricing is affordable. For deep powder I always pay $45.

Amazing place. Im a nail tech myself back in Amsterdam. Ive looked up a couple nail places on Google and dug through all the reviews. This place was the only one with good reviews, and thats legit.I was treated by an amazing sweet lady named : Sike ( if correctly spelled) . She did an amazing acrylic refill+ shellac+ glitter dust. Quick, efficient, clean and precise. We talked about holland, about nails, and it was very relaxing and fun. Im very picky when it comes to my nails but she did an amazing job.Cant stop staring at my Barbie pink nails!For refill + glitter dust i paid :$50 which is more than fair!Love the atmosphere and the space. I came to this place because my boss highly recommended it and now this is my number 1 place to get my nails done. Ella did my pedicure, shes super sweet and actually started multiple conversations with me. Alex was also awesome she did my gel manicure which came out great. She made sure to coat the entire nail. These two ladies are sweet and informative I highly recommend this place to anyone! These are my nails after 2 weeks and they still look amazing.

When I moved to Houston, I reviewed 10 different salons and settle for this one because of their reviews and my first time experience there! Lyly was amazing! Very friendly, very detailed and extremely respectful! I recommended this place to all of the Juris Doctorate candidates that loved my nails! Ive been a regular there since I moved here.Sadly I dont think I will be returning! I came early last month for removal and a manicure! The technician convinced me to go with shellac for it will protect my nails since I had acrylic for a few months. Although she charged me more, I paid for it. A day later, the polish came off some of my nails and the rest broke off. I went back the last week of last month for a full set and pedicure. 1: I got charged $5 extra to remove the polish three shellac polish that didnt came off from my previous manicure. 2: I got charged $5 extra to remove the polish I had on my toes from my previous pedicure. 3: I was charged $5 extra because I didnt want my nails square but coffin instead. (I mean come on, she was going to shape them square to begin with? Whats the difference?) 4: another $5 extra for polish choice..I understand the nail technicians need to get pay for their work but this is ridiculous!!!I was charged all of that extra fee but my nails look terrible! Most of my nails were uneven, the technician was so sloppy, I left there with glue and acrylic all over my finger. Some of my nails are thick and some of them are very thin. Im very disappointed!UPDATE 9.7.18I went back and made sure that Lily is the only person that touch my nails, eyebrows, and lashes. I have no complaints in regard to her! She’s amazing!

Ive been coming here for years and have NEVER had a less than amazing job done on my nails. Ive received shellac and dip manis and pedis, waxing and threading. Nails last better than anywhere Ive gone when Im traveling or forced to go somewhere else with friends. Most of the techs arent super chatty (with guests or eachother). Free wine only makes it better. Try the jelly pedicure - weird and cool.

BF & I drove 40mins here for mani/pedi due to the amount of good/decent reviews. Service was fast, but not the best. They ended up messing up the colors for both my mani/pedi. Also, I wish the nail tech would have either pushed back my cuticles or just moved the shellac back further, because there is a gap where the cuticles end & the shellac starts. It makes it look like there has been several weeks of nail growth, instead of it being freshly done. I paid a total of $77 for a shellac mani/pedi & probably wont be going back.

I had been coming here religiously all last year and used to have good service, couple weeks ago was my most recent trip since the pandemic and sadly I have to say I will not be going back anytime soon. I saw multiple technicians with their masks under their nose, at times even one of the check in lady will lower her mask. My technician herself, had RIPPED gloves while working with me and all she seem to care about was trying to sell me add-on or extra service. I saw no care from any of their team to take extra precaution due to covid. I definitely do not feel safe going there right now.I understand it’s challenging time for everyone, and wearing a mask 8-10 hrs a day is tiring. But at least respect your customer/business enough to keep the mask on while you are where the customers can see you. I know they have a staff area, so their staff could go there and lower there masks instead of doing it in front of customers. By doing it in customer area you are basically sending a message that you could care less about their health while they are in your spa.

I have been getting my nails and pedicures done here for awhile now and I loved it since day 1. When you walk in they greet you immediately and I am never there for more than 1-1hr 15min getting my dipped nails and shellac pedicures. My go to is now Sandy, shes awesome! You get treated like VIP all the time.

This was my very first visit to this spa and it will be my last one. During the manicure, a cuticle was cut too deep to the point it started bleeding. To my surprise, the person responsible for my gel polish didn’t even bother to say sorry.

First time going and I had a great experience. They were extremely busy but I didn’t wait at all and I was provided with services immediately. Tim did my full set of nails and they came out amazing! The price was reasonable for the great service.

I havent been here in a while. The place is still very busy. I can see why. The service is great. The people are pleasant as well as helpful. I never know what color I want or am looking for a color not used often. They can get creative trying to deliver the color I want. This visit was my best one. I walked in and was tended to immediately. The lady who did the pedicure, Thanh, was very sweet. She is very detailed and gentle with her work. Also, she ensured my pedicure looked immaculate. Thank you to you, Thanh, and the staff for your professionalism as well as consideration.

Summer always delivers what I ask for and is great conversation! Its never too loud.

I have had inconsistent experiences here. I have only ever gotten pedicures and a few of the ladies are very good and take their time, others rush to get the turnover. Management often tries to upsell packages and services. The pedicure chairs are not always as clean as I would like for them to be (dead skin on chairs, some nail clippings) and I have had to ask to have them wiped down before I sit there. There is minimal regard for social distancing in terms of movement around the salon, but they have spaced out which seats and tables are in use.

This place deserves my review. I’ve had my shellac for over two weeks and they still look amazing. The service was quick and good and safe with the Covid 19 situation.

I went there on Jan 12 and paid for my pedicure lacking of massage of hot stone and pressure point of massage.. I paid for 36. She told me that will have more massage but end up she cut all the good part. And paid with my credit card. I got hack though my account.. so it’s not safe to paid your card in that salon... now I had to call and fix my at midnight.. just know from my alerts messages.

I have walked in a few times already. The experience was great first time. Today my shellac was excellent! Great tech. Yes reasonable price. Can’t say same for my pedicure though.Tech seemed to be paying attention to her surroundings and all other people except my pedicure. I had that uneasy feeling from get go. I have polish on toe skin. She put way to many coats of polish, never dried down well and my color is messed up now. Also what about spraying down pedicure utensils with alcohol at least? After each use maybe? They just scrub dead skin, clip my nasty toes and put it right back in bin after a dip in my dirty pedicure water🤔🤢

Surprised I havent left a review yet, since Ive been coming here for a few years. Ive never had anything but a relaxing, quality experience here. If you come basically anytime thats not Saturday or Sunday, your wait will be minimal. Even on those days, Ive never waited longer than 15 minutes.The technicians always do quality work. Ive never left this place unhappily with how my nails are done.Prices are reasonable. Its not a bargain place, but, really, you pay for what you want. If you want to go to a bargain place, come here immediately after to get your nails fixed.Id recommend the deluxe pedicure. Ive only gotten shellac on my nails, but I want to venture into dip powder eventually.Get a glass of wine, and TIP WELL! ☺️

Great service, great price! I upgraded to the Deluxe Pedicure with Shellac for only $51. The décor is beautiful, they have 30+ pedicure massage chairs, and offer drinks when you arrive. Easy parking in a shared lot, as this is in the middle of a shopping center.

I have literally never had a bad pedicure here (and I never request anyone specific so I get different people each time). I always leave with my feet feeling great AND looking great. They always look amazing and you can tell that they were professionally done! They take their time and dont rush through the process. Highly recommend.

It was okay at best. Honestly, my lady barely cared. She did what I would consider a half hearted job, simply going through the motion. I had a deluxe pedicure which honestly isnt worth it. You may as well just get the regular one. There is nothing that makes it worth the deluxe.

I use to love this place. Super fast. Lately I have sat in the chair while getting my nails done and watched everyone around me receive a pedicure. I have literally waited for a pedicure tech for more than 40 minutes. The past 3 times I had to remind them I was waiting. Today I finally asked why people who came in after me were being serviced first. The manager told me that you have to request both services be done at the same time or others will be serviced first. Total BS. “Since when?” I asked. This has never been the case until recently. They need to do a better job of keeping track of who is next. He literally just looks up and points to whomever he chooses. Then makes up any type of story in order to not accept responsibility. I will not be coming back. They need to implement a better system. Who would actually want to spend 2 hours in the nail salon as opposed to 1 if given the option?! Makes no sense! And why should someone who just walked in the door be serviced before me because you pointed at them first?!

Place was nice. The tech who I got seemed Ina hurry. Not very pleasant and short. I paid for deluxe but did not get half the detail work on my feet as other places I have paid less at. I had to come home and use my tools and re paint my nails. My daughter had a great tech.

I have mixed reviews on this place. The 1st couple of times I really enjoyed how efficient and polite my nail tech was. But my last visit was horrible. I was convinced to try the dip powder. It was more expensive and began to chip in 2 days. The clear top coat started to bubble on the edges and my thumb nail completely chipped.

I’ve been twice now and everyone is very nice and does a great job. The first time I went I didn’t realize it was almost closing time since I didn’t see the hours posted but they took me in with no issues and didn’t come off as I was a nuisance because I came in late.Gel stays on longer than two weeks which is extremely rare for me since I tend to peel it off.The only negative I can say about it is I’m not so sure they’re opening sterilized tools for each customer. I’ve had to ask them to do so for me because she was pulling them out of her personal box. Everything else seems clean and great, bowls are bagged, tons of colors to choose from, chairs are great, doesn’t stench of acetone and the environment is nice, maybe some better music but that’s my personal preference.

Visited Houston recently with my friends. I was overwhelmed by how a large amount of nails salons. We randomly chose Q nails & spa and it was great. My tech Kevin was absolutely brilliant. He was really experienced and skillful, and he meticulously fix my nails perfectly. Really glad that i had him did my nails. Decent price as well. Overall amazing place. Highly recommend to anyone who live nearby

Nice customer service and excellent pedicure! Also they served wine, and provided refills not like Lux Nails on Gessner were they only limit to one glass of wine!! I have found my new spot Q nails & Spa Rivers Oaks. I certainly will keep going there because they listen to your instructions, and do quality work!!

Extremely over priced, a refill with shellac cost me $58. Quality was average and service was nothing to brag about. I have 2 nails with broken acrylic with no tips and when she started to use a tip to rip off the acrylic instead of grinding it down slightly and putting new acrylic on top (like every salon I use) I asked her not to and she did it anyways, damaging my nail underneath, the whole reason I dont use tips and shellac instead if color powder - to not damage my real nail! I only stopped in because I was in the area and would not recommend to anyone. Every one of my local nail salons charge me $35/$40 max for the exact same thing with better quality and service.

Nice place, very serene and beautiful. When I went here, there was no wait time and I was able to sit for my pedicure right away. The lady that did my feet was very nice and made sure I got what I wanted. She also did a very nice massage at the end. Overall it was a nice experience.

Kelly did a great job, however, their front desk employee, whomever answers the phone is VERY rude. I was simply calling regarding a query on the cost. I received the Ombre dip manicure for my natural nails and paid $65. I called other salons in the River Oaks area and they charge $50. Yes, $50 - includes the Ombré dip manicure. I was not demanding money back, just simply asking why so much pricier than competitors and the woman I spoke with was unnecessarily rude. For that, I will not return.

My absolute go-to Spa destination.All the services you could want and the ladies who work with you really want to do a good job for you.Ive been enjoying services at Qnails for 3 years now.Only reason I didnt put 5 Stars is there are other Spa facilities in comparison, higher end. This is a spot on medium to high end facility that delivers day in and day out.

Absolutely the best nail shop in Houston Texas hands down. Ive been going here for a year and a half now . Never chipped polish broken a nail or anything. Nails are always on point . The staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly all the time. My favorite tech is Jackie shes wonderful knows exactly what I like. The management team is excellent . Awful place. They don’t care about a comfort of the client. They tell you how to sit on the chair, on which side to put the bag, start touching shoes without asking. It simply not relaxing when people tell you what to do like in a military camp! I asked them several times not to untie my shoes, yet they attempted several times to do so. When my nails were painted the strap from my dress fell from my shoulder and I reached to adjust it and accidentally messed up a nail polish on my finger in tiny little spot. The woman who was painting my nails made a huge deal out of it and said “see, you already messed it up”. I didn’t even ask her to repair it and she scolded me anyway as if I was painting nails for her. Extremely disappointed with this place. I had to go to another salon so I could get relaxing nails experience without them dictating me how to sit and breathe. Please take your money somewhere else

I went to Qnails yesterday 2/20/2020 at 5:30 to get a full face wax and my dip powder removed. They burned my left side of my face with the wax and they didn’t say anything the lady just told me that I should put Neosporin at home just because but she obviously was aware that she had burned my face. I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I sleep on my left side due to the pregnancy and I wasn’t able to get any rest last night since the left side was the side she burned. I usually go to European wax center and they have never burned my face ever. I decided to get it done there yesterday just because I was already there and they offered the service I would not recommend anyone getting a wax at Q nails. I usually go just for my nails and nothing else which I can’t complain about there nail services but never get waxed there.

The staff is friendly and they are super quick and very efficient, which is definitely a plus. Sadly because they are so quick they do not do as good of a job as other places. My dip powder nails started to come off after 5 days :-( Normally they last anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks for me. Great place if you need something done quick.

I’m new to the area and love how I’ve found my nail home! Always consistently good service and I like how I am in and out fast! Great job with my dip nails and not too thick like a lot of other places I tried and I get a good 3 weeks when I get my mani.

Im new to this area and found this place. I was so happy to find a place that does acrylic nails! Its not common in this area so Im glad I found a place I like. Jimmy does my nails and he always does a great job. The staff is always very nice and accomadating. Thank you for making me feel welcomed in this new part of town.

This nail salon was super nice. They were much better than I expected as reading reviews about their business. They had great decoration, plenty of space and chairs. Setting an appointment was not recommended because they had too many chairs available. To be honest, this place is the best nail salon in the area, really worth money and time. Highly recommend.

Clean and do a great job for the money. I have never been disappointed with the manicure or pedicure I have gotten. The only downside is it can take a while for them to get to you, but you usually get into a massage chair pretty quickley.

First few times my french was turning out good and i was very happy with the result. Couple times I would get a technician who did an ok job but i still came back. However last time my manicure turned out terrible. 3 cuticles were cut, underneath the nail powder left, other nail wasn’t fixed and new layer was put on. After i left a review how my appointment went I received a call from the place to come back and fix it for free. I was busy but nails were bugging me too much. I came back and they sent the same technician to fix it!!! How can I trust my nails to the same person?? I let her fix my poorly done nail which was falling off after 5 days and left. Wasted my time twice to go there!

Ive been going here for a few years and unfortunately their cleanliness and customer service has gone down. The last two times Ive had to go back to get a gel mani redone sinve it started chipping the same day. I use to love this place but Im now looking for a new salon.

Great experiences here today. Came to have deluxe spa manicure and it was so relaxing. My tech took time to every details on my nails and it turned out great. Price is fair and the place is super clean with a lot of modern tools and chairs. Will be back!!!

My favorite nail salon ever! they are always so busy so I try to visit on weekdays instead of weekends if possible, they are a little dry at the front desk but by the time you sit down, you manicurist are very sweet and personable, I try to tip very well because I cant imagine how hard they work to perfect their craft, when I need to be pampered this is my go to spot! if they did total body massages I would practically live there!

I’ve been here a couple of times and every visit I’ve been very satisfied. Once you come in the wait is not that long not even rush hour time. The prices are very affordable and the ladies are very neat and clean as well.

They are usually wonderful but the last two times I have been there their customer service has been terrible. A friend and I were sat down almost immediately but then waited over 1 hour for a pedicure. When I asked how long it would be the man said he would check then proceeds to walk away and then hid at the front desk. This most recent time I was told the wait would be 20 min. After 25 minutes they took two women who has come in after me that had been told it would a 30 min wait to get their nails done. The people who actually do your nails are wonderful but the reception has been in a slow decline over the past few months and these last two visit were the worst. After 4 years I will not be going back.

Ive been going to Kelly for 4 months now & she gets my nails perfect everytime. Ive never gone to the same nail person for this long ever! I will never need another nail technician again! I get the dip powder nails & she is the only person I know that knows how to do them & they can last up to 3 weeks, even longer if you dont mind the grown out look. They do not chip or crack! Ive had the dip powder done at a different salon & they chipped & cracked after only 3 days. Kelly does them with a way different technique & I LOVE them every time! The salon is clean & everyone is very nice & helpful! :)

Im in town for three months for work and I happened upon Q Nails. I am so fortunate to Ive found this place! Its decor is deliciously opulent and decadent. But, although this was nice, the main standout of my appointment is Lucy. Lucy is the absolute best nail technician I have ever had, hands down! Pun intended, smile. She is extremely attentive to details, and she takes her time and does an expert job. I will be returning as often as I can while Im here. My twin sister lives in Austin, and she is coming to visit. After I raved about Lucy to her acc sent photos, she is putting off getting her nails done at home in order to have Lucy do her nails as well.If you are able to get an appointment with Lucy, you wont want anyone else to do your nails.*Shelli*

I actually had the best pedicure ever done here by Linda today !! She was amazing, super attentive and honestly gave the best massage ever!! So happy with my pedi, I will definitely keep coming back :))

I saw Ann today and she had a very bad attitude I am not happy with my experience. I asked her to please paint my entire nail as she wasn’t painting all the way up. She said she cant do that I said why? She said because it will chip. I said I get shellac all the time it looks old how you are doing it now, it looks like its been painted for two weeks. She said “I’ll try” and rolled her eyes. She then touched my wet nail with her hand and told me “you need to move your finger down” I said you’re the one who touched me, you be careful. Then she did a design and I was checking it before putting it under the UV light and she said hurry up and put in. I said don’t tell me what to do! I’m paying for this service so I’m going to look at my nails. She got even more upset then. I told her I would tell her manager if she continues having a bad attitude. Then, when her coworkers walked by or stood by she would put on an act and pretend as if she were being nice! Too late Ann. Don’t be fake now.Was my first experience at Q Nails and Spa in River Oaks and will be my last thanks to Ann!

The staff is friendly and they are very efficient! They have great options at amazing prices. This is my fave salon in Houston!!

I absolutely love this nail salon. I never have to wait and they have every single color of nail polish I have ever seen. The salon is absolutely beautiful. Everything is very clean and all the technicians are super friendly
