The best desi grocery store in Texas!!! This place deserves higher than 5 stars. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so. They carry a variety of grocery products and halal meat at a low and fair price. But honestly the customer service is what keeps me coming back here. They’ve always been open to the community during times of need and help people out whenever they can. Definitely recommend you check it out for your grocery needs or to grab a quick bite.

Restaurant was very clean. Customer service was awesome. Food was also well cooked. Prices are reasonable. Nihari is too good. It is like Javed Nihari from Karachi. You can’t find Nihari like this. I have tried Ashar’s kitchen Nihari but that is not as good as katy halal’s Nihari.Store is also clean and well maintained. But some products are pricey than other shops.

This is my go to spot for any Pakistani related groceries. They have a huge variety of all your favorite Pakistani/Indian related groceries and the store overall is very clean and organized which is extremely rare to find . Their prices are very reasonable compared to other stores and all of the meat sold is 100% fresh and zabiha halal. The owner is very friendly and is always willing to help any customer with any questions they might have .Next to their grocery store is their restaurant and I have to say that they serve some of the best tasting Desi food I’ve had in all of Houston . Everything is fresh and prices are very cheap . All the food served is made to order and is zabiha Halal. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for their favorite Pakistani/ Indian groceries and is also looking for the best Desi food in town !

Hidden gem..love everything Ive ordered. Beef niharia(best Ive had) naan, potato samosa, beef samosa, chicken tikka masala..Cant wait to try the biryani. Seriously better than 95% of Indian Pakistan dine in restaurants, give it a try.

Food was very good and very nice customer service too.. Only thing bad was samosa were very cold. By the time we finished dinner, a new batch were made. So maybe just bad timing, but still expected hot samosas.

When I come to Houston, I order the chicken tikka masala if I have the chance. Try it with the garlic naan, though the regular naan is tasty too! The chicken tikka masala is delicious, enough to split with someone (though you’ll want your own), and competitively priced. Also, if you like hot fresh samosa, my go-to is the potato. It’s nice enough without the sauce, but comes with one.

The place is much better inside than it looks on the outside. The halwa puri is possibly the best we have tried in Houston. Also we tried the Chargha and Bihari kababs and both were amazing. They make it all fresh so takes a little longer for grill items.

Due to Covid, we strictly been doing take out. I dont think anyone can beat Katy halal meat: Keema, paratha and Paya. Must try, highly recommend. Customer service is a plus!

My first time ordering a nana “Bake Bread” from Katy Halal, all I can say it’s Legit. The size and weight of the each nana is more than enough for one person. Also the nana color its perfect, along its softness. The customer service was great. The owner informed me that due to amount of orders they do not take order only for nana, but he was gracious enough to accept my order. I will rank the nana from Katy Halal among the best in comparison to the Houston area.

Best goat biryani in Katy/Houston town by far. The kebabs are also pretty good. The food served is very clean. I have been a regular visitor there for over 1 year, and the food has never been a let down.

Samosas were amazing n fresh. I tried their Biryani as well. it was a decent portion and quite reasonably priced too. A place worth trying.

Ive been getting groceries from here for years and years, before the new management took over a few years ago. All I can say is that this is the best place to get your meat from, the butcher is absolutely superb. Any kind of meat you want, even if its specialty, he will get it for you if they dont already have it in stock. If you want your meat cut a special way, just request it. He is excellent and a very nice person to top it off. Besides that, the other people that work there are very helpful and very kind. I always know I can get the best groceries here without any problem. I will come in here not only because its close to my house and convenient, but because they have everything I need. I also do like a restaurant, though Ive only eaten there a few times as take out. I leave!

Brunch on Sunday is out of this world. Probably one of the best Pakistani/Desi food places on the west side of Houston. Would highly recommend this place. They also carry all the goodies you look for back home and the meat here is very high quality. Ask them about their summer mango deal.

Worst Halwa puri i have tasted. Halwa tastes like coloring. One puri tastes like eating a naan. And the price point makes the whole experience infuriating. 18$ for two people to get 3 puris each is absurd!

I bought leg and thigh cutup ready to go wrap package, found two legs no thigh pieces and the 8 pieces end bone of thigh. Bought this to cook for guests. Will not shop for meat there again.

Worst place to shop, prices are almost double for everything, credit card charge minimum is 10$ and not even mention anywhere, anything they have less in the store they set limit for customer to buy and not even put any sign anywhere and most importantly the owner is completely non professional and rude ... They dont accept Amex card, my Visa did not work and he rather let the client walk away but to make exceptions. Will never come back to this place again

This is the most awesome Indian store I have been to. From the quality of the fresh meat to the restaurant to everyone who works in the store. The taste and quality of the food from their restaurant is the highest and most consistent - I have known this for the last 5 -6 years. The Mutton Pulao is simply perfect. Their Sunday Buffet is great especially the Bhujia, Puri and Kheema. Words are not enough to say that Abbas bhai, Moez bhai, Ramzan bhai and badmaash Carlos are a winning team and that makes it a pleasure to visit them every single time.

I got just I ordered hot and fresh each time I visited. My only suggestion is to find ways to be open on Tuesdays, they are closed on Tuesdays, but they said they are looking opening on Tuesdays now.
