I have been frequenting this place for years and when I want a stuffed chicken or other fast and easy creole meal this is the place... All is always fresh and tasty... Seasoned to perfection... The crawfish sausage is the best among another favorite... Although they were out of stuffed cornis hens they still had a store full of other goodies...

Haberts is the place to go if you want to get real Cajun flavors. Fresh raw sausages (pork, mixed meats, beef, italian), deboned and stuffed chicken, meat preparations ready to cook and lots of cajun condiments and sauces. Prices are fair (around 5 bucks for a couple of sausages) and the quality is outstanding. Highly recommend. Turducken available for Thanksgiving.

I was at work and very thirsty on a hot day, I wanted to drink, I went in and found only meat products, so I asked if there is any drinks for sale! The shop keeper brought me a Dr. Pepper and didn’t charge me anything.I assumed it was his own drink and gave to me.Very very nice of him. Thank you so much

I am very much aware how and what Boudin taste like and looks like, a meaty BOUDIN and it was mostly Rice .I am from Louisiana and we have meaty BOUDIN.I was NOT EMPRESS👎

Nice selection of different meats. The bison meat was delicious! I got a large Turducken with the sausage and cornbread stuffing. Everyone loved it. I would definitely come back for Thanksgiving.

Just went today for the first time and let me tell you they have a great selection. I stopped by to get some shrimp stuffing to stuff my founders. It was absolutely delicious.

Stuffed chickens always cook to perfection. Stuffing (all types) is moist and flavorful.

Specialty meat market for Cajun cooking.They carry Cajun spices and tasso for if you want to cook our own and prepared frozen products if you need a quick fix.Have tried and ♥️ their tasso, 🍤 pie, boudin.

Excellent had the boudin last week and had the deboned chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese dressing today. Really loved both of them. A must try.

Fell in love with Heberts Turducken (traditional) while living in Lafayette. So happy Heberts is in Houston. We get a Turducken every year for Thanksgiving - and make gumbo with the leftovers (including the stuffing). Nothing is wasted. We all look forward to Heberts turducken and gumbo (of course I cheat with Cajun Powers chicken gumbo mix).All of Heberts meats are great. Their marinated ribeyes, their stuffed anything... all good!!

Tried some Turducken with crafish stuffing for the first time last year and really enjoyed it from Herberts Specialty Meats! Im looking forward to this years buy!
