Great community and communication between staff, classes for me are a little later in the day which work well with our schedule and the days you come are very flexible to fit any needs.Would recommend.

Both my children and I take classes at Double Dragon and Master Mark and all of the instructors are not only professional but friendly and helpful. We have made lifelong friends of both the staff and other families that we have met since starting classes there. I highly recommend Double Dragon for not only classes but a sense of community, its a great place to go for families!

Customer for over a year..I have 2 boys who are green tip belts, we go Monday thru Friday and they are Best martial arts place in Houston. This place will knock the bad attitudes out of my kids system and set them on the right path.. forever gratefull for Master Mark and Katie they really have become like family. We pay monthly set up for recurring billing. They offer military rate too.. you will not find a better rate in town. So ignore the petty moms past post.. not naming names. PARENTS BEWARE AND HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD READY FOR DOUBLE DRAGON. My family & I are newbies to the martial arts world. I reached out to the facility closest to where we lived in order to make the transition into this sport easier. I spoke to Mark at Double Dragon to get info on class schedules and monthly fees so we could budget for this in the future. I was told we would pay $89.00 per child (we have two that were interested) for two months. After trying a complimentary class, Dad & I decided why not? Can’t beat the price & if our little ones hate it there’s really not a whole lot invested financially besides our time. We started 01/28/2021 & it was decent for the time being. There were a couple instances that made us slightly question the way order was implemented & sustained. Fast forward to 03/26/2021 “Master Mark” tells us tuition will be due the following Monday. We hand him our credit card and tell him to charge us for the next two months for both children. Let’s be realistic we are parents trying to retain some form of normalcy after a hellacious past year. “Master Mark” then proceeds to FINALLY inform us that tuition will now increase (in THREE days mind you) and we will be required to sign a one year or four year contract. As a parent I’m now being put between a rock and a hard place. My children have enjoyed the extra curricular activity after being in a lockdown for over 365 days & us as parents have to sign a contract saying this exactly what we plan to do at the very minimum for one year. I was sickened at the fact that I was duped and my children were pretty much used as pawns in the process. After touring another facility this evening I will never even entertain the thought of subjecting my family to the narcissistic “business” plan of this so called facility again.

My children and myself have been training at Double Dragon for years and have enjoyed every moment. My daughter is a black belt, my son is testing for black belt soon and I enjoy the Hap Ki Do classes. Instructor Teele has extensive knowledge in martial arts, and works hard to convey it. He expects a lot from the students, and provides them the rewards of their effort. I highly suggest this school and the family atmosphere that is conveyed by the instructors, families attending and the students.

We have been attending Double Dragon for more than 5 years. We vetted 4 other martial arts prior to choosing Double Dragon. We chose Double Dragon after seeing the interaction from Mark and his students. Mark expects effort and performance from his students, but also balances the time appropriately for his students to have fun.

My 7 year old son has anxiety issues but Instructor Mark has shown him he will not give up on him and continues to give him one on one direction. The parents and staff are amazing in every way showing their understanding. Thank you double dragon

We are so happy we found this place. We have been a part of many due to moves, and this is by far the best. The teachers are great, the students are friendly. Our son has learned so much and has been able to advance due to its great instructors.
