I was tired of inconsistent results on maintaining my yard and keeping up with a fertilization schedule, so I tried out Lawn Doctor of West Houston. I am so glad I did. After just a couple of treatments my yard was noticeably better. After the full course of treatments, all the neighbors were telling me how great the yard looks. I really appreciate how they let me know when they are coming out so that I can schedule mowing service to take full advantage of each treatment. I am a very happy customer and highly recommend them to anyone.

We have used Lawn Doctor for the last 5 years or more. They are excellent for weed control and seasonal fertilizer. Never have had an issue with servicing, They email before coming to give us the option of another time/day. Always responsive if we see weeds and need them to re-treat. .

I reached out to Lawn Doctor West Houston with a weed and fungal problem in my lawn on a Friday. By monday morning they had arrived and diagnosed and treated the problem. Incredibly polite and knowledgeable and way more cost effective than I thought it was going to be. Highly recommend.

We have used true green for many many years and have spent so much money with the company. Within a short time of using Lawn Doctor we have noticed such an improvement. We had blossom on a tree that has never blossomed before. The staff are wonderful and they stay for a long time ensuring that everything has been sprayed. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Last year before I had ever used a lawn care service I encountered a terrible and rapid browning and the death of a significant part of my lawn. I checked online reviews and decided to call Lawn Doctor. The next day their senior lawn technician who is an owner of the company showed up and determined that my lawn had chinch bugs. He immediately used a granular treatment to begin to control the problem and the next day sent his team to do a spray treatment that would last for 90 days or more. The chinch bugs were killed and the rest of lawn was saved. He told me what to do before this years growing season to restore the devastated part of my lawn. I followed those instructions and have since used Lawn Doctor for regular lawn maintenance and periodic, preventative insect control. My lawn is almost entirely back and looking good thanks to Lawn Doctor. I recommend them. They communicate well and show up on time!

Just wanted to recognize Marc A Hudson. I met him last time he was here for service and he gave me great recommendations for my front yard. On todays service, I questioned if he had been in the backyard as my patio is my new office! I didnt see him, but he saw me...told me the shirt and hat i was wearing and I had my head down in my computer and he did not want to disturb me. I stopped using Lawn Doctor because my grass started to die in several places. I called and called. They came out to take a look. They never offered a solution to my dead grass. That was over 2 years ago. My grass is still dead. Not even weeds will grow there. They must have used a ground killer on it by mistake. They never offered to restore the area or bring new sod. Nothing. Accidents can happen, but you own up to it. Thats just good business. They do not do good business.

I was struggling with my lawn as it is young and was given poor quality grass. My yard has made a huge recovery in the short time frame that Lawn doctor has started. Mind you, I too work on my lawn and monitor its health. But without the help of Jeff and the Lawn doctor team, I would definitely still be struggling. I highly recommend them!

This is my first time hiring a company to maintain my yard. I was a little leery of it and if it was going to be worth the money. To my surprise, I’m very satisfied so far with the service they have provided. My grass is lush and green, and anytime a weed has sprouted (rare) they would come out to spot treat the yard. If you want a reputable company that will do what they say, lawn Dr is your go to company. PS: if you don’t maintain your yard like you’re supposed to, ie; watering and mowing. The work they perform won’t ever reach its full potential.

I have been using their services for over 1 year now. I have just asked them to cancel. Reason - My neighbor who has never watered her yard and mows it maybe once in 2 months has greener and healthier grass than my yard. I have been expressing my dissatisfaction for quite some time but whenever they come out, it is always about me not doing the right thing - either I have over or under watered my yard, not mow it as often as I should or in their experience, things are getting better. My grass in the front is barely green, backyard now has a huge brown patch, but they are always right. So at this point, I will buy Scotts from Home Depot and apply it myself. Had enough.

Started service back in March and was wanting to have a company that would help my grass. After about a half dozen treatments my grass is now looking like a cow pasture. I was very impressed, and they went to work immediately.Jeff Smith is a master technician, he turned my yard around and keeps it beautiful. Anytime youre dealing with mother nature, youre going to have insects, etc. Whenever I have a problem, all I have to do is take a picture and text it to Jeff. He responds the same day and tells me when hell be out, (usually the next day)!I rate the Lawn Doctor of West Houston a 10.

I was with tru-green for 3 years and every year i have crab grass. i decided to switch to lawn dr last fall and this summer, i do not have any crab grass and my grass is greener. lawn dr is by far a better and more reasonably priced option. raoul, the lawn technician, is knowledgeable and a fine craftsman dedicated to and takes pride in his work. highly recommend without reservation.

I do not typically post reviews. Actually I believe this is my first. This is the most impressive service I have received at my home in as long as I can remember. SO impressed! The franchise owner himself did a thorough initial consult, then accompanied the tech to be sure the first treatment was thorough. He has checked back several times since, responding to emails and requesting photos of the results. The service is unparalleled. The effectiveness of the first treatment was far better than 2 treatments with TruGreen, which killed maybe 10% of our weeds, while Lawn Dr killed 95% in just one treatment. They cost a little more but theres no comparison in the offering. I never met a single person from TruGreen. If you want lawn care, this is your guy!!

Service was completed as scheduled and so far the fire ant treatment is working. I expressed concern over the cost of fire ant treatment increasing from the previous year. After speaking with Lawn doctor they reduced the price.
