I picked this place for my engagement ring resizing based on the reviews and my experience did not disappoint. I called a couple of other places but here customer service was superb, they asked a couple of follow up questions to give me as close to the final price estimate as they could (which also beat all other places I called), and the turnaround time was so quick, which was perfect. Love this place. Came here in January and bought some rings to help build my silver ring collection. I was on a budget so to my excitement, the jeweler told me that they have a layaway system so I was able to put one of the rings on layaway to pick up at a later date. They also have a sale going on for the month of February. Beware of this guy, He will try his best to upcharge you 100%+ what an item or the labor is actually worth. dont get robbed by this place. they double charge for labor on simple things. He couldnt even test the 1mm stones i had. He couldnt tell me if they were real or fake. what kind of jeweler cant test the stones they work with? Take your business and money elsewhere!! These guys only care about making as much money as possible and dont provide a fair service.

Love this place! They customer service was on point.The power went out and they continued to provide excellent service. Especially when they were about to close in 20min. With it being that close to closing they didn’t try to push us out when thee lights went out, both gentlemen did their best to help my friend to find her a broach. Yes she did find a beautiful piece.They also do custom metal jewelry for excellent prices. That’s a rarity in Houston.I just wish parking was easier to get to which is a common problem in Montrose. We end up parking at McDonalds and walking which is only a couple of stores down so not that big of an issue.

I was looking for a Japanese/Chinese symbol pendant for a gift the same day - everyone kept telling me to look online but since I needed it same day that was obviously not going to work. I ran around to several stores locally before I finally came here. They said all they needed was a picture and they would custom cut it. I explained that I needed the gift for dinner that night and their work load allowed them to have it for me before they closed! I was able to give my gift that evening and it was very much appreciated! Erik was awesome and they even wrapped it in a great box and bag...presentation was great!

Im from out of state and happen to be in town for an art class and decided to look around on line for a diamond for my nose. I thought that they would blow me off like most, but they were wonderful over the phone and had options for me to consider. Someone who could talk over the phone is priceless in this day and age. It made me gps the spot and I was there the next day. The google photo is unflattering, because inside the store is very presentable, and Herschel and his assistant made me feel very special. Great service, I needed my bracelet smaller and it was fast and professional, after it was done I changed my mind and wanted even smaller then that, so I got back there and the guy didnt even charge me for that just to make sure I will be happy with his work and I defenetly was happy with it. What a find! I found Silverlust from some online sources whose overall reviews were 5+. I wanted to engrave a silver goblet that was my grandmother’s as a baby keepsake for a niece. They hand-engrave offsite and turnaround is very quick. Mallisa works at the shop & her mother, Aydee, does the engraving. I could not have been happier with the finished product so I took a second goblet for engraving (also perfect). I have been going through old family jewelry and took in some old watches that didn’t work. Some just needed batteries which were fixed while I waited, some needed new bands, some wrist watches & antique pocket watches needed to be shipped offsite to Erik’s grandfather in Missouri (who is master watchmaker) for his opinion. Erik is a young man who is so personable, engaging, knowledgeable and goes out of his way to evaluate rings & things on site. They have tools to tell if a diamond is real or not, grade the gold & silver content, and can identify your gemstones - rubies, emeralds, blue topaz, aquamarines, sapphires, garnets, etc. I mentioned to Erik that I had found other pieces of ivory, cameos & various misc antique pieces. He was enthusiastic to see them so I brought those to the shop and we had a great time exploring, researching and evaluating these pieces. Herschel founded the shop in 1984 and has hired a great staff. If you’re lucky, he will be there but I can identify with his flex work schedule!

This place specializes in jewelry for history buffs. Not a vintage shop per se but they do lots of stuff with old coins. Great shop for mens jewelry that want something that isnt tacky but isnt boring.

After months of searching for someone to design my wedding ring and a ring for my fiancé this shop was recommended to us. My fiancé and I go to the store and was very impressed with Hershel whom assisted us with all of my needs. He even gave us ideas on how the rings could be designed that would fitting to our needs.
