Brought my wife to the best hair salon in houston. The girls are all so helpful and willing to do it how you want it. I drive from Katy down town because of the service and the great jobs they do!

This is the best hair salon in Houston! Awesome service and amazing prices! Best in town! Lisette knows how to do my hair, and she does it better than anyone else! I have been to a ton of different places before, but Uptown Shears is my favorite! Thank you Lisette☺️P.S. when I first came here, my hair was a hot mess!! It was terrible, but after a few visits my hair changed drastically and I couldn’t be happier!

That was my second time here. First time had my hair cut done with GIgi, so happy. Since she is not working there anymore I try it again.. wrong decision... :(( That old lady doesn’t have any skills how to make a hair cut, just ruined my live for months now. That guy, I guess he is manager just said if is too short we can’t do anything and I don’t have a time to deal with that.. not even sorry... very professional, I can tell. Btw, I show them photo of my last time hair cut to make sure we’re on the same page... NO MORE !!

Yes, I had an appointment. Apparently the lady I booked an appointment with already had 2 customers at once and I was taken as the third. This is no problem whatsoever as salons can be busy. I had explained how I wanted my haircut but it didnt not reach my expectations. It was cut in a hurry as the other customers time was up. My bangs are uneven and length was over cut. I requested to see my hair with a back veiw to see my layers as I couldnt really tell much of a difference and that was ignored in a hurry aswell. The reason I gave this a two star is because she was respectful towards me not wanting Men to come in (religious reasons) as I practice hijab and put the blinds up and locked the door which I highly appreciate. Regardless this was a haircut I was getting 10 months later hoping to get a good one and it isnt.

Lizeth is the best in the business. She is better than any barber Ive ever gone to but most of her business appears to be with women. She can do it all.

First time ever coming here. The customer service is nice and the shop is clean. I came in for a trim. I asked for my hair to be point cut because I don’t like a blunt or choppy look. I decided to get long layers. The layers go short in the back to long in the front. I like it the reverse way longer in the back with shorter layers in the front. My hair wasn’t point cut either. In order to fix it my hair would’ve had to be cut shorter and I didn’t want that. So I’ll just let it grow back. I’m a little annoyed with it but whatever it’s just hair.

I can not Express how awesome my experience was here! Lizeth was welcoming, very sweet, honest and knew exactly what she was doing! She went way beyond any stylist I have used. Anyone else I spoke with there was also very nice. You must give her a try!

Lizeth always does a fantastic job. My hair feels so healthy when I get it cut/styled here. We used to live a few minutes away from the salon but have moved a little further however, I still come to see her. She uses the best hair products.

Love how she blow drys my hair. My hair is very thick and long. Liseth is very much straight forward, she will tell you if a color matches you and what hair cut best fits you. I decided to do a spur-of-the-moment hairstyle change on the Friday evening before a weekend event. I didnt expect anyone to be able to fit me in for a cut/color on such short notice, but they did! The owner was able to masterfully change my hair to the exact color and style Id hoped for, even staying late to make sure it looked perfect. The stylists here are highly skilled, very friendly, and the prices are beyond reasonable considering how far out of their way they will go for their customers.

I went two times to dye my hair and do basically my roots and I’ve been blonde for more than 15 years and it’s been years since my hair was this damaged.

When I first moved to Houston I had no regular salon to go to. Ever since I found this place i recommend no where else. They are so kind and they take real pride in their work. I have never had my hair color look so natural. I am naturally a brunette but they color my hat blonde so well people think it’s my real hair color. They are so kind. I highly recommend this place.

This woman really knows hair! She was so careful and skilled. I had the whole experience for a great price! She made me want to play around with my hair again. Its a clean and well kept place in a central location. Getting an appointment didnt give me a headache. Their promotions are great. I brought my partner with me to get his haircut for $17! He has complicated hair and we both love our cuts!

Ziomara was amazing! I had no idea what do do with my curly hair, I used to get simple 10 dollar hair cuts just to get rid of the ends. She recommended fixing my uneven length and was able to bring my curls back to life! Loved her suggestions in hair products. Girly Truly defined my curls!

Clean. Got us right in good prices...BUT I ended up with such a short haircut that the top of my hair stands up from my callics. My hair is literally a quarter inch long at the top when it should be an inch and a half to two in. Didnt listen.Then Lisa cut me with her trimmers and didnt even bother to tell me and I have nerve damage so I didnt notice until I washed when I got home. Which explains why she discounted my price, but didnt even bother to tell me? That she cut me?She also even cut herself with her hair scissors and had to put a glove on while she was doing my hair midway.The other lady there did boyfriends haircut which was simple and standard, and she left line marks all around his head. An apprentics beautician could have done better in hair School

I love Lizeth...she is THE BEST hair stylist in TEXAS. My hair is thinning from thyroid problems and just growing older, I have half the hair I once had on my head. I have gotten the best hair cut ever from her. My hair feels better, looks fuller from her cut and when she is finished styling my hair looks like I have 3 times the hair on my head. I only have praise for her!! I have also watched her work on folks ahead of me with lots of hair and she made her look like she was going to be on the runway of the Ms. Universe pageant. Just beautiful!! I cant say enough about the quality at her salon. They are all very gracious, even to folks like me who need extra care. If you want or need to look beautiful when you leave a hairstylist; Lizeth Nativi IS a MASTER Hair-stylist...her card does tell the truth! I wish I could give her 10 stars she deserves them!

Charged me $160 for a cut and coloring when over the phone they priced my hair color for $50. In addition, I asked for a bayaladge, which would require a small amount of lowlights. Instead, I got even more blonde highlights than I originally had in my hair. Great people but it is unfortunate I was so highly upcharged and my hair color didnt match at all what I wanted.
