Diane was amazing!! After reading reviews I decided to book with her for my first bikini wax ever.I spoke to Angelica initially on the phone because I couldn’t decide if I wanted a regular or modified bikini. She was so nice, explained the difference, and let me know that I can discuss it more with Diane during my appointment and decide then.When I arrived at my appointment, there were two separate waiting rooms that you could wait in so you don’t have to sit with someone else if you didn’t want to. I really appreciated this and everyone wore masks at all times.When Diane took me to the room she asked me if this was my first time waxing and told me she’d walk me through each step by step. She left for me to get undressed waist down and then came back in. I LOVE her personality! I could really tell she cared about making me feel good/look good and she was so fun to chat with the entire time, which made things go by so smoothly. She instructed how she wanted me to position and told me what she was doing with every move she made and prepped me for the next step too so there was no surprise or confusion. She even asked me to inspect and went back in to clean up certain areas, tweak as I wanted.Wow, what an amazing experience. I would highly recommend The Wax Spot and Diane to anyone! Especially anyone who is hesitant or unsure and wants a great experience.

Went here for my first bikini wax. Angelica is awesome! She made me feel so comfortable and made sure to talk me through it all. I was surprised that it wasnt actually as painful as I was expecting! They take amazing care of their customers. Overall, The Wax Spot is a great, quality business. I definitely recommend coming here.

Staff is friendly, experienced and professional. Cost was in-line with others. Only reason not a 5 start was building looked like a house from the outside, and little or no signage that is was a business. Once inside though, its all business. I will be back.

I’ve been going to the European Wax Center since I started getting my Brazilian wax about 6 years ago. I decided to switch up and go to Diane at the Wax Spot and OMG, I wish I had switched long time ago. Honey if I tell you she got every hair there was to get down there lol. European Wax who?! I’m so happy I made the switch! She does an awesome job and she takes her time. I don’t feel like I’m being rushed! She’s attentive and very thorough! She explains and recommends things that will help me care for my down there friend lol. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Diane!!! You did an awesome job! Well worth it!!

I have been to many different salons over the years and I can easily say The Wax Spot ranks one of the best. Very friendly staff, good pricing, clean-- a great experience all around.

I came here five months ago to get a wax with Kyrstin. She was very professional and quick. I didnt get any ingrown hairs. I went to schedule online last week but couldnt find Kyrstin on the website so I scheduled with Christie instead. Christie wasnt as quick as Kyrstin but still did a great job. She used two different types of waxes to get all the hairs--even the thin blonde ones. I am glad to know I can expect great service no matter who I book with when I go here. I like that they have a TV in the room to distract you from the wax service and I really like how they press down on the skin after pulling out the hair to lessen the pain. Still, I strongly recommend whoever is reading this to take an advil or two before going in just to lessen the pain. Thanks again Christie!

I loved it it was my first time ever getting a Brazilian so I was very nervous about getting waxed down there but when I walked it I got a very welcoming greeting the lady that did the waxing was very sweet and she talked to me to help me relax during the process we joked and laughed it was just a great experience all in all I will be going back for sure for another visit.

I had the pleasure of experiencing an underarm and a modified bikini waxing with Angelica at the Wax Spot. I was so impressed with her technique; even waxing those delicate areas did not hurt one bit. They use high quality products and their store is so welcoming. They have a lovely waiting room offering coffees and teas and an assortment of magazines. Angelica was great to chat with while she was waxing my various areas. I even had her tint my eyelashes and they look incredible! I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning to the Wax Spot.

I come here about once a month, and they are always able to get me in the same day I call. They are quick, friendly, and as painless as waxing can be. Parking is in the street, but Ive never had issues finding a spot right out front.I like that their table swivels, so I dont have to change positions. Also, they always have the TV on to distract you. They say its more for the guys though, lol.

Christies my girl! LOVE my brows after I come out of an appointment with her. Shape is perfect and she is awesome. Always very bubbly and friendly. Everyone there is always very friendly. So glad I found this place. Very reasonable pricing. Parking on the street only, but I never have a problem getting a spot right in front. Perfect location, right on my route home. (EDIT: I have moved from downtown Houston to Cypress, so this location is not really convenient to me anymore. I have to take a whole lunch hour to make it down and back to my work. But I dont even care! I could make a Saturday appointment but with how convenient it is to make a same day appointment and not take time away from my Saturdays to worry making time to get my brows done, I just havent bothered. Ive been to so many many different girls since moving here to Houston over 3 years ago and since finding Christie I wont trust my brows to anyone else. Its worth the extra effort, for sure! Ive lost my hair girl to moving out of state, I better not ever lose Christie. I would cry. Haha!)
