Great coaches. Solid training. Meticulous about form to ensure you dont injure yourself. Well thought out training programs.
QLF is the best facility in the city. Everything from management to cleanliness is the best Ive ever seen.
This space is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are very well maintained. The staff are attentive and professional. I highly recommend.
Love my QLF family! The new owners are so sweet and the people who exercise here are some of my favorite people in the world. I used to go to a big chain gym (won’t name it here) and I can’t believe I tolerated it for so long before coming to a privately owned gym.
The club allows people from the outside to try them out, including their signature group fitness programs. I attended on a release day for BodyShred. The staff was welcoming, kind, and answered all questions. There was no pressure to join! Great class, great instruction, and overall a whole lot of fun. Try it out if you are looking for a fresh new way to kick start and motivate!
Modern equipment. Very clean. Spacious.
QLF’s facilities are fantastic! For those who might not know, Frank Billingsley and his family own this gym.I switched from LA Fitness years ago because I wanted a more intimate, private gym.I’d highly recommend trying QLF out.Definitely do their free gym visit.
Great place to work out and the best staff and trainers!
Great interactive gym. Plenty of space of different gym needs like one-on-one training, weights, and running. Separate showers for men and women. Clean environment with free towel use. great gourp instructors for variety of classes. AND the locker room is in an old bank vault! Ive read the other negative reviews about the owner and staff, and can personally state that the opposite is true. They have all been accommodating and friendly with excellent customer service provided.
Been going here consistently for about two years now. Good gym that mostly caters to personal training clients. A little on the expensive side but the fact that its nearly empty on nights and weekends makes it totally worth it. Staff is very friendly. Only negative is the limited hours. Not open early mornings and usually closed by 9. They close at 7 on Fridays even though the sign on the door says 9.
I would not recommend this facility. This was my first visit to the facility and it was to meet my trainer. The owner was at the front desk and had me fill out a card which was no problem, then went on to describe the fees, again no problem, $59 a month with a $100 initiation fee with drop in at $20. He then went on to say the fees are going up in August to $69 because of location expenses. He said they were the cheapest in the area which I knew was not true. At the time I did not know he was the owner. So I asked are those the only two options. He said yes so I asked was he one of the owners again yes and before I said anything else he responded with an attitude that “if I was not it would not matter anyway”. I was not sure where that came from nor the attitude. I continued asking questions about the rates in a very normal manner and explained to him why I was asking, one I was not going to using the club no more than 4 times a month and I asked was he sure his rates were the lowest in the area. His attitude and language grew worse. He went on to say “he is not answering my questions because I asked him already”. Which is not true because once it was clear there was no movement on the monthly fee I then asked about the drop in fee of $20 and that is when he told me he felt like I was offending him and he was getting angry and did not want to argue. I was shocked! He was offended and getting angry and thought we were arguing because I was asking questions! I was not unprofessional by any means, nor using any aggressive langue, nor posture I did not have a negative thought in my mind, I was just asking questions like any normal person would by no means did I think we were arguing. I then apologize to him and said my no means was I trying to offend him by asking questions and if so I’m sorry. I apologized twice and he continued looking at his computer monitor and would not acknowledge me! Again shocking! Here I’m the customer and I’m apologizing to the owner who demonstrated totally unprofessional behavior and it continued. As a customer I expect excellent customer service at all times particularly if you are trying to win my business. If a customer prefers to ask questions, why is that a problem, particularly if the questions are logical ones about the rate structure. This is a place I would not recommend.
I am writing an updated review for 2013, as one is over dueThe Les Mills instructors at this facility will received 10 starts out of 5 stars, they are truly the best ! The product is well represented and they go well beyond expectations ! In all fairness, I have been a member at this gym for two years and I have change my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. My rating change has nothing to do with the group instructors. I will monitor and updated with a better review (e.i back 2011)I want to make known that employes are wonderful, they have change my life and they will always be part of my success.I work in an educational customer base industry and I would recommend persons to ask detail questions and get to know the history of the facility before signing up the investment is a little expensive $70 bucks a month.
LOVE the new management! The staff is friendly, professional, and the new renovated location is top notch.
Ive been finding this to be a very civilized, congenial and clean place to work out. Im enjoying it here.
Small quiet professional.
Terrible. Owner is very rude, very pretentious, staff is nice, training is kind of a rip off, if you want classes, I would recommend 24hr or LA, same Led Mills programs, much cheaper. Beware of the owner and constanly changing fees.
DONT DO IT!!!!!!! I bought a Groupon promotion to try out the facility and the classes for 1 month. I really hate to give the gym only 2 stars because the owner is a dick, but he totally ruined my experience. I will say though, that the staff and instructors are truly awesome. However, the Owner is R-U-D-E, RUDE!!!!!! Three of my friends bought the Groupon and he treated all three of us with such disrespect. I lost my card and asked if I can have a new one to finish my session and he goes on to tell me about his $15,000 overhead and how he does not make money from Groupon and on and on about things a visiting potential member does not want to hear. He said the purpose of Groupon was to give exposure to the clubs website and to attract people to the club, which makes all the sense in the world, but dont treat your POTENTIAL members with attitude because we heard of you through the very vehicle that you, as the owner, chose to advertise with. After all of the slack I received for not having my card, I was finally allowed to go to the class. After class I asked for membership information and was met with more hostility and rudeness from the Owner who actually said to me 24 Hour Fitness is cheaper. WTF???? That was a clear indicator that he didnt want us to come back. The price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for. The instructors, like I mentioned earlier, are more than amazing, the classes are small and personal, and going to them is still cheaper than hiring a personal trainer; but having experienced the rudeness of the owner totally turned me off to the whole entire gym. And dear Rude-ass owner, if you know anything about cost-benefit analysis, you would know that if your cost of advertising on Groupon is exceeding your long term benefit, you should probably freaking stop using Groupon as your sole web-based marketing vehicle and look into something else.
Love this place. Clean, friendly, professional!
Frank is the man!
