Have tried to contact them before service with no response all of the sudden they are there when i left messages and email to cancel. i let them do the service because they were there .. now a couple of weeks later i have a leak on the corner have sent numerous email with pictures and no response. they were quick to get with me on payment almost immediately after this job was done by email .. when i tried to contact back i get an email that he is on vacation. I will see if they respond to correct this

We used Berger Home Services to install new gutters in our house earlier this year. Amazing people!! We had a great experience from beggining to end. After we received an estimate we worked with office staff to schedule our job, person there is super nice and prompt to answer any question or concerns i had . Crew member did a great job, quick and very clean. Very efficient and reliable company. I highly recommend them.

There crew are very friendly and did a great job. Very well done. Left my place very clean. The company is very organize from scheduling to the day the job was done. On 4/22 I had Berger Home Services tear down an old gate and build a new one a little further up than my old gate for security purposes. When the 2 guys arrived to do the job, I showed them where I wanted the new gate to be build and asked if it would be a problem because my yard has a small dip where I wanted to move it to. They assured me that the dip would not be a problem. They worked hard and build a sturdy gate, but when the job was complete I noticed that the gate dragged when I opened it. When I asked about it, I was told that it was because of the dirt they had to dig for the post and that when the dirt settled, the gate would not drag. Well, it is 5/1 and I feel like Ive wait long enough for the dirt to settle, but the gate drags worse now then it did right after job was finished. It was only a $600 job, so I know it was not considered a big job, but I was my $600 and for me thats a lot of money to have a brand new gate drag when its opened. I wont lie, Im really disappointed. I check to make sure the dip in the yard would not be a problem before having the gate moved up for a reason. If they said it wouldnt work, then Id just leave it where it was. Before I recommended this company to a friend or a family member, Id definitely let them see my gate first. Its a sturdy gate, but it should not drag when its opened, as Im sure this will shorten the life of the gate. Ive downloaded a couple of pictures.

Wow! They definitely impressed me! Such a great installation. I even had a leak and they came to repair it. I’ve used them for cleanings and now for my upgrade! Try out their leafblaster product. It’s amazing.

Vernon from Berger Home Services came out and gave us a quote on installing gutters (We had a great experience with Vernon). We received emails about scheduling and remitting down payment but had not gotten around to doing it yet as my husband had to travel for work. During the time that we were gone a worker from Berger came to my home claiming he was there to get started on the work. The person we had house sitting was unaware because we were unaware as their required down payment had not yet been made and an appointment had NOT been scheduled. When we tried to call and resolve the situation, the Manager, Maritza, was rude and refused to work with us. So, I am here to say that I do NOT recommend Berger Home Services due to poor business practices and lousy management.

Fast and efficient. They came the next day to do an estimate (faster than 3 others I contacted) and were finished replacing the gutters on our 3 story home in less than 10 days. Thanks so much!

Paid deposit on May 26th as they said they would need a deposit in order to schedule my job within 12 days. It is July 5th and nobody has come out. Will not use again and would not recommend. Id suggest to find a different vendor.

They installed a screen to keep debris out of the gutter. Have called no less than 4-5 different times to request some assistance as the screens are not getting rid of leaves etc. but collecting them and causing the gutters to overflow. With the lack of a return call I would never recommend a company that cannot make a return call to resolve a problem.

Estimator and Installers are good. The office staff though. :( Dont return calls. After paying the invoice, continue to get calls harassing me to pay. Totally disorganized and unprofessional. At one point, they disappeared for 2 months, not returning phone calls or emails. When I call, someone answers and says that Noritza or whoever will call back, they never do.

Very professional and did a beautiful job. Color matched perfectly and there was not one scrap of waste left behind! Price was very good, as well.

My good friend Mr. Michael Burnett and this is what happened from his own words on a Facebook post he did. Mr. Michael Burnett said on his post, On May 4, 2021, I signed a contract with Berger Home Services to install gutter guards at my home. I was told that the paperwork would be submitted, at which time I would be contacted by the scheduling manager to schedule the installation. On May 7, I received a text message acknowledging the receipt on the contract and stating I would need to pay $300 as a scheduling deposit, but with no instructions as to how to pay. I called the company, was referred to the office manager who sent me anothet text message with a link to make an online payment, which I made successfully that day. I was told to expect a call from the scheduling manager soon. Receiving no call to schedule, I called on May 11 and was told a message would be sent to the scheduling manager to return my call. I received no call, so I called again on May 14. I was told that the person answering the call would call the scheduling manager personally and ask that my call be returned. I again received no return call, so I called for the officer manager today, May 18th, and canceled the installation. I was reminded that the contract called for the forfeiture of my $300 dollar deposit, which I consider a reminder never to do business with Berger Home Services. I leave it to the others to judge for themselves whether this experience warrants doing business with them. I think he should get his refund back. Thanks and God Bless

They were extremely competitively priced, came and did the work exactly as promised. They even beat their schedule by four or five days. Would definitely recommend them, and will use them to do the rest of my gutters when I’m ready.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This was the first and only company I called for a gutter system around the back of my house. I was very impressed by the professionalism and skill that they put into the job. Gutters look wonderful and were a perfect color match to my new windows. Job very well done indeed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I got a quote from them for gutters earlier this week on Tuesday. Even though they were out of my budget, Hank was very nice and explained why the price was the way it was. I would consider reaching out for other jobs in the future based on the interaction I had earlier this week.

This summer, after hurricane season I was in need of a new fence. I am so glad I stumbled across Berger Home Services. These folks were AMAZING!They showed up 10 minutes early to give the quote and 30 minutes early to set up for the job so they could begin the work when promised.The fence looks great, gates do not sag, and latches all match up.All work was done well and met for appointments in a timely manner as expected of a professional company.

Berger Home Services installed gutters back of our house. The estimator Kurt was nice and gave us fare rate. Workday was scheduled and the installers were so nice and explained everything. Gutters professionally installed to our specifications. They continue to perform to our expectation, and they look great! I would use them again and would like to recommend them to my family and friends.

We initially tried to hire Berger Home Services in November 2018 to clean our gutters. We were given an estimate, signed a contract for biannual cleanings to begin immediately, and given a day and time to expect a Berger employee to come do the work. That day came and went. We tried contacting the company several times and finally gave up and hired another small business to do the work. Two weeks after their missed appointment, someone from Berger called me to say they would be coming out the next day. I told them that they had not upheld their end of the contract to do services as promised so we were no longer interested in being customers. There was no apology for the missed appointment--just an “okay that’s fine.” Six months later (May 2019), we got an email saying they would be coming for our scheduled cleaning. I called and told them we still were not interested in being their customers as we prefer to work with businesses that are a bit more professional and respectful of their clients’ time. In fall 2019 we got another email saying a cleaning was scheduled and once again I called and then also emailed saying that we are not their customers and to please stop harassing us. I was told that we were removed from their database and they would not contact us again. Today (June 2020) a man in an unmarked van showed up at our door. My husband did not answer immediately and when he went to the door, the man was walking around looking at our roof. Fortunately, my husband told him we did not have a cleaning scheduled before he began work as no doubt the company would have done the work without our consent and tried to make us pay. This time we got no phone call, no email--nothing! Someone just showed up at our house and was about to climb up on our roof without us knowing. I called to tell them the same thing I’ve told them every six months for the past year and a half and was once again told that we were removed from the database. I’m thinking it’s very likely that in six months I will once again be going through this--and who knows when it will end! Save yourself the time and headache. Don’t sign a contract. Based on other reviews that have been left since we originally tried to hire them, this seems to have become Berger Home Services’ M.O.

Poor communication. Work finally got done and was great, however it was a hassle working with them. Also they are pricey.I would not use again. Work done related fence repair and there was a communication problem regarding lock on gate that took over a week to resolve. It is resolved and we made payment in full via mail today.

She called you on the verge of suicide after our Gutter Installers cancelled on us a third time and you were so professional and you made my mother feel like someone cared about her in the course of explaining the appointment you were setting for our estimation on installing our gutters. Berger Home Services installed gutter system for my house last year. I found the members of this family owned company are honest and take pride in the systems they installed. The always put customer satisfaction first. I have had very pleasant experiences working with them and strongly recommend Berger Home Services because in my opinion this is the best Gutter contractor in Houston.

Found them thru Home Advisor. The estimator came out .he was clean and professional. They gave me a quote for the job, plus additional work I might want to consider. The quote was super simple to understand. They came out and did the work quickly and left no mess.Now, a month later and the rainy spring weather is in full force, the drainage work they did is amazing. Works like a charm! Money well spent and I feel the price was very reasonable.Very happy customer here.

Berger services just cleaned my gutters. Very professional from the emails you get confirming the dates WITH the persons picture of who is coming to the on-time arrivals I highly recommend them. They left yard nice and clean and took their trash. Looking for gutter cleaning? I’d look no further! Price was equal to other companies and even if they would have been higher the service you get would be worth it!

Great experience with Berger Home Services! They sent an estimator out immediately after I inquired about gutter installation. I work 5 days a week and was unable to be home for the estimator and the installation, but they had no problem with that and made everything so easy.

Prices just werent competitive.Ill have to disagree with them on paying people what they deserve. Either they mark up material cost or dont have a good supplier, or they are paying their staff above and beyond what they deserve in this service area. I received 4 quotes from legitimate businesses and theirs was 3-5 times higher than anyone else. And the lower quote I went with produced excellent quality results.

Horrible experience with this company. If I could give them a negative five stars, I would do so. The only thing that went right was the owner showed up in a timely manner to give me an estimate. I accepted the estimate and was told to call the office for them to schedule the work.I called the office and was told that I would receive a call in a couple of days for the work to be scheduled. Never received a call.I did receive a text message at 7:16 p.m.and was told that the work would be done the next day. The gentleman arrives to do the work, but he has no paperwork because he could not get in touch with Berger Home Services. I can relate, as I also had trouble reaching the company. Red Flag: How can you do the work, if you have no idea what work I have requested? Where are you going to put a hole in the fence for water from the downspout to flow through? I took a photo of the estimate and sent it to the gentleman contracted to do the work.Receiving a text at 7:16 p.m. the night before, I was unable to get off work at that point. Very uncomfortable with this situation, I immediately try to get in touch with the office of Berger Home Services. After trying two different numbers, the third number was finally answered. I was transferred to the Operations Manager who then begins to tell me that there is a problem with the work requested. There are two options: One is double the price of my original estimate. The second option can be done, might look strange, but it is structurally sound. Putting all that aside, I proceed to tell him about the very poor professionalism in getting this work done. He will contact the owner regarding all of these issues.Shortly after, the owner who gave me the initial estimate calls with the same problems with the work requested. Yes, he told me there is always a possibility of problems with roofing shingles that might increase the cost a little. But double the cost!?! Not only that, but this is the ONLY option now! The first option with no additional cost could not be done. WOW! Second Red Flag!The owner was told about the late text message, no call received to schedule the work, gentleman doing the work had no paperwork to know what he was supposed to do. He apologized, but nothing more. But he was very interested in doubling the price of the work.I cancelled the entire job as I now have no confidence in this company at all, even though they might possibly know what they are doing.It has been a very LONG time since I have seen such horrific business practices, customer service, and professionalism. The absolute worst!!

Service was requested over a week ago. Despite the estimate that was done a few weeks back with all necessary details of this job in WRITING, guys show up with no ladder tall enough and no tools. Including the estimate, this is the second time I had to organize my day around them to be home for this. Upon calling Berger Services, no apologies were offered and no interest was shown in giving me any reason to keep working with them. SAVE YOUR TIME AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY.

Rescheduled multiple times, offered discount to compensate. When it was time to pay, they denied everything and demanded full price. Avoid!

Just deleted the fake review they made me write when I worked there. Berger has great reviews but it’s all BS hype. They use unskilled labor and over charge their customers and pay for reviews. Don’t waste your money here. Not trustworthy.

I found Berger Home Services through Home Advisor. After comparing their cost with other companies, along with their reviews, I chose Berger. Working with Berger Home Services was seamless and worry free. From the professional estimate and documentation, to execution of the project, I did not encounter any issues or cause for stress or worry.

We have had a lot of great experiences working with Berger Home Services. Every time we need something done we call they come out and get it done fast and efficiently. These guys are honest and always do quality work!

So I used this company once so far, and signed up for the every 6 months plan. Well, I used it the first and was not throughly impressed the first time since they cleaned the gutters fine, but left all the debris around my flowerbeds and patio area, so it took them all of 15 minutes to finish the job, however, I decided to still keep them on. Around the time, that the next appointment was supposed to happen, no one called to schedule anything or follow up, and then months had passed and I totally forgot all about it. So today, I received a call from them stating that they had done work last Friday, and now sending me an invoice asking me to pay with a credit card over the phone. I thought it was scam at first because I hadnt heard from them in months, so I spoke with someone named Marissa, who told me that they sent me an email (which I never received) saying they would come out to the do the work, and that the crew had attempted to contact me via phone (which I did not get a missed call or voicemail from them), so basically they decided themselves to come out and perform a service that was not requested at their convenience, without speaking to myself or my husband to get permission or confirmation that it was ok to go ahead with the service. Furthermore, Marissa could not it tell me what time they performed the service, and I asked because Im usually at home with my toddler, so I would know if they came to house. My husband and I both spoke to Marissa and the last conversation I had with her, she would not listen to a word I was saying and just asked me do I want to cancel the service and not pay for it and was super defensive and argumentative, and once I told her I wanted to cancel, she just rushed to get off the phone. Terrible custom service and terrible attitude to be working with customers. I Do not recommended this company, as it seems that they will just do want they want when they want with no regard to your time.
