I called Craters and Freighters regarding shipping my recently deceased 96-year-old mothers Grandfather Clock from Houston to Corbett, Oregon. (This clock was especially important to me, as it was purchased by my parents in 1976 for their 34th wedding anniversary. It was enjoyed by both of them until my dad passed away in 2015 after 72 years of marriage.) From speaking with Crystal -- who is excellent in taking and delivering messages -- to talking with both William and Ruben -- who explained in detail the packing and shipping process -- to Abraham -- who came (with a helper) to my late mothers residence and packed this Clock with as much care and expertise as I am sure he would have had the Clock been his own -- I cannot fully express how IMPRESSED I am with this companys work ethic and professionalism! What amazing customer service! BUT -- their work did not stop there. The BOX/CRATE they built to ship this treasure is nothing short of brilliant workmanship -- from the heavy-duty lumber itself to the padding material that prevented the Clock from moving around at all! The Clock arrived in pristine condition! In fact, my husband was so impressed with the quality of the shipping container that he has added wheels to the base of it and plans to use it in our shop as a workbench! Needless to say, many kudos and praise to Craters and Freighters for a job WELL DONE -- from beginning to end.
They came through for a tough customer of ours. They had a busy schedule to redeliver a crated vase to the shipper. The shippers other boxes and furniture were getting loaded into an overseas container on Friday and the Craters & Freighters schedule was booked until Monday. But they found a way to deliver the crate on Friday and it was able to be loaded into the container with the customers other items. Alls well that ends well.
We used Craters and Frieghters to pack and ship an antique dining table and chairs that had belonged to my mother-in-law from Houston to Charlotte. The service was excellent all the way around. Ruben Gutierrez was extremely helpful and quick in answering my questions. The items arrived right on schedule, and we were amazed at how well packed they were. Great experience!
This is a review for Craters and Freighters Houston and Dallasin one word AWESOME!C and F shipped a 2 foot glass house for me from Dallas to Houston. The experience was seamless, professional, and affordable!! When most shippers backed away from this job C and F were up to the task! They provided a timely quote that was competitive, they picked up the house, and packed it carefully. What was most amazing to me is when they saw the delicate nature of the artwork the owner of C and F decided to hand delivery it to the Houston location and not have it go on the truck from Dallas to Houston.Once the package arrived in Houston, the delivery person stayed in close contact with me contacting me several times to arrange for delivery. He delivered the package within 15 minutes of his scheduled time with the house in one piece!!!!!FOR ME THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST SHIPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! I cant speak for the other locations around the country but these guys in Texas are solid!!!!Dyan Rodriguez, Nina Barrera, and the shipping guy whose name I didnt get...thanks kudos to you!!!
Very personable service in getting a bulky item shipped from Texas to Pennsylvania.
I couldnt be happier with this company! Top-notch service, excellent communication. I shipped 1500 lbs of soundproof studio doors from Houston to Cincinnati with them and the way they crated them up was amazing. They handled every detail with minimal effort on my part - pick up at our Houston facility, crating, and shipping to Cincy. Professionals through and through! Highly recommend.
Excellent customer service and handling of our materials during international shipment from Houston, TX.
Great work -- good communication!
Nice guys, except that 1 of their employee when they opened some boxes for me to check the packaging they also took care of stealing a Sonos 3 speaker! Always easy to resell on Ebay, right!
