Great Management, Beautiful SpaceRepublic Square has been an amazing experience so far. The management team is friendly and genuinely cares about your experience. The building, which is already stunning, is undergoing amazing new transformations and gets even better every day.As for perks, It has coffee stations throughout the building, great meeting rooms, underground parking (keeps my car covered and amazingly cool, and a stunning lake in the back.

Leased an office here and moved in 3 days ago. On Day 2 I left my sun glasses at my desk ($450) purposely. blinds were down and the door was locked. The next day I come to realize the trash was emptied and my sun glasses were gone. Solution was to put a red stamp on my door so that the cleaning crew (which is included on the rent) does not come in to my office.

New management & new leasing team! Everything is being updated. Cannot wait until everything is finished. Great environment to work in.

I live across from this place and I usually go for a morning walk to the park next to their lake. They have completely drained the lake and left the ducks to die. I usually never leave reviews especially negative ones, but this is a complete disgrace how they can do something like this and not take responsibility for it. The ducks cant relocate as this has been their only home for generations. They dont have nowhere to go. More people need to know whats happening.

Great vibe. Office building among the trees. Also has a pond. Hard to believe youre in a major city. They rent small offices. Saw what looked to be free bikes for borrowing. Pretty cool.

Good open space so I see why events are held here but the area is somewhat hidden. Passersby arent as likely to swing by events such as markets. I wouldve never noticed it passing by.

This used the be Exxon Chemical. I grew up knowing this place all to well. My mother not only worked her in the intermediate crefit dept for 20+years she was one of the people who planted some of the trees and designed the walking trails. Prior to working there and Masters degree in botany she worked at the Houston Arboredum. Nature was her passion. I used to love having lunch with her there by the pond. I thought that water was magical.

I am the CEO of a energy startup and proud resident of the Energy Corridor not too far from Republic Square. It’s a beautiful and an ideal space despite reservoir flooding that destroyed it. I had an office here before Harvey. I bought into the future potential but what made this property unbearable was the culture of Boxer Property Management and the staff who treated my team in an unprofessional manner. The culture and lack of experience of Boxer Property management drove a lot of high creditworthy business away because of how poor they managed their clients.Leasing:This process was very painful. The staff were younger and less experienced. The lease agreement was complicated and very one sided. It was also unclear. The terms were less than a traditional lease (3-5 years) but not truly co-working like terms (1-12-18 months).FacilitiesThe internet service provider in this building at the time was Phonoscope. Just google them and you will get plenty of feedback. The company has credit and customer service issues. The infrastructure in the building was older and always having issues.I also was concerned about that safety of the building often with different cleaning crews in our office. We had reported issues of stolen property that went unresolved.Property ManagementThis was another painful part of the experience. Boxer put very inexperienced staff to manage the day to day. Instead of being accessible and having conversations the manager would slip notices under the door and write up tenants for things and get very emotional with clients. The property didn’t have established community guidelines so many of the tenants expressed frustration because of conflicting information provided. Once several tenants complained, the corporate office sent over an experienced and steady leader.Rankings:I give the Boxer property manager who had to manage through Harvey a 5. He was phenomenal to work with but clearly understaffed and needed a higher capacity team to support him. He was accessible and very sympathetic during the storm.I give Boxer leadership, corporate and leasing staff a 1. The culture was toxic. Google and you can read up on the many BBB and other complaints.I give the property a 5. It has potential and hope the owners invest in the longer term and find a better property manager.OverallI would reconsider my real estate needs given location and proximity to my home but a lot would need to change. I am very happy at Techspace where the culture is communal and conducive to both corporate clientele (energy) and startups.

Kudos to the new property owners making the property publicly accessible and retaining much of the green space. Theyre already leaps and bounds more respected in the community than Skanskas sorry PR job across the street.

Love the building and the layout. Cant wait until its finished up.

The place looks okay. There wasn’t anyone to assist us while we were there though.

Called Boxer Property to get leasing information. They have the most frustrated young ladies manning their phone lines. They were clueless and inept. Boxer Property is the worst ever
