Faith and Barbara were such a blessing to our family. Faith answered every question I ever had about breastfeeding and about anything baby related (and from an unbiased point of view every time). She is extremely compassionate and professional, yet very human, which was just what I needed when in a very fragile place as a new mom. She helped us through struggles surrounding tongue/lip tie, my repeated bouts of mastitis, engorgement, pumping....all the things. Knowledgeable on so many levels, an expert on breastfeeding and so much more. I learned so very much from Faith during each of our visits and she was such a joy and comfort as we navigated our daughters tongue and lip tie and release. She provided such reassurance during a very difficult time and thats something that will never be forgotten. Shes a true natural with babies....and mothers...and fathers!

I am so thankful to have found Faith. My baby was born with IUGR and had issues breastfeeding. I had to exclusively pump after the hospital and then found out he also has tongue tie. I met with Faith and we have been working towards my breastfeeding goals even with the potential roadblocks that previously set me back. I’m slowly dropping pumping sessions and adding more nursing time. I could not have made this much progress without her and I’m so grateful.

I highly recommend Texas Lactation Consultants! My milk came in 4 days after I gave birth and I had been struggling to get my son to latch since day 1. I called and Barbara answered right away (she always answers my questions to this day) and immediately set me up with an appointment with Faith. Faith literally saved me from getting mastitis, I believe! I was so engorged and like most first time Moms, I had no idea how to relieve pressure or how to breastfeed quite frankly. Faith set me up with a feeding and pumping schedule and continued to stay in touch with me. She also caught on before anyone that my son may have a tongue and lip tie. She referred me to a Pediatric ENT, and sure enough he did have a tongue and lip tie. We worked with a pediatric chiropractor as well, which Faith referred me to, and after 6 weeks post tie release Faith came back over and helped us to latch without the nipple shield. We are officially nursing without the nipple shield for a week now and exclusively breastfeeding for 14 weeks. I would’ve never made it this far without the help of Faith and Texas Lactation Consultants and I do believe our breastfeeding journey would’ve been cut short. Our pediatrician is blown away at my son’s growth with exclusively breastfeeding! Faith is so patient and has immense knowledge on not only breastfeeding, but all things relating to Women’s reproductive system and relating to labor/delivery. Bonus is she was able to spot my sons tongue tie which will save us so much headache down the road. Breastfeeding went from such a struggle and stress to a complete breeze! Rosemary met with me before I had my daughter and afterwards. I insisted on getting an ibclc before this baby because breastfeeding was, sadly, a terrible and short experience with my first. With this baby it is going so well, and I attribute much of that to Rosemarys thorough questioning, teaching, and abundant encouragement.
