The best place to work in the States.
Good company to work with. Good people!
Great place to work. Culture is great and you can get a good work life balance. Consistently voted one of the best places to work both locally and nationally.
Ok place to work, they have alot of CAD rule that no other place has. The rules they have make it very hard to do your job in a timely manner at the pace they want you to work at. If the person before you did not do there check and they find an error you get blamed for it even if you did not work on that page of the drawing. Commute sucks 45 minutes to get there and over an hour to get home. The location is terrible, as for the pay is was down right insulting I have over 10 year electrical drafting and design experience and was making over $30 hr as a contractor I was offered a permanent position at Burns &McDonald and was first told $21 hr but once I started I was told $20 hr. I was lied to about pay and was doing 10× the work for half the pay. Only reason I took the position was because I was told it was a permanent position which it was only permanent after 1 year contract and I was told my pay would not be going up every much after I became permanent. I could not do 10× the amount of work for half the pay so I went home on Friday and did not go back.
The only thing I like better than working at Burns & McDonnell, is the people I get to work with!
There is always someone who is willing to teach you or help you.
