I was laid off last year due to COVID from a Company I was with for 11 years. I registered & uploaded my resume on INDEED.com, however was realizing how saturated it was with applicants. I havent gone thru a Staffing Agency in YEARS, but I decided I would give it a try & possibly get quicker & better responses. I googled staffing agencies near me & decided to choose 2 based on star reviews. Pride Staff and Rhanstand had the highest star reviews. I called both & submitted my resume to both agencies online. I never got a response with Rhanstand, however did immediately with Pride Staff which was on a Tuesday. Went in for my interview the very next day, I followed up that following Monday, got an interview with an amazing Civil Engineering Company that following Tuesday, was hired that same day! And I absolutely love my new place of employment! LAURA WAS AMAZING, kept her word, and worked hard to find me a position that fit me and what I was looking for. Everyone in the office is very friendly & professional. If ANYONE ever was looking for a job and/or having a hard time on their own finding a good career move, I would recommend Pride Staff on Jones Rd, Houston Tx 100%. PrideStaff seems to have been great for me. Started in March 2021 and then again in Aug. Mike is very friendly and outgoing and Laura is also. My journey with PrideStaff started in March however the position I was looking into was on-hold. The position open back up and Pridestaff was on the ball. I was being told that they had positons available the evening right before closing, i came in the next morning for a interview btw I was the first person and they couldnt place me on a job. very disappointing because i was mislead. especially because they are advertising all these jobs and when you ask about them they say they are filled but yet they are still advertsing them like they are available.. i will not work with them anymore. i was extremely frustrated.
