If you have ever worked with a staffing agency in any state then you know exactly what it’s like to work with Brooke Staffing Agency.Originally out of Louisiana, the Houston office is young (opened in 2005) and shiny with recruiters under the age of 35. The recruiters are friendly, informative and focused on creating a perfect match between their clients and the candidates.Although my experience with them was quick and fleeting, it meant a great deal to me to actually sit down with a recruiter to review my background, desires and future aspirations with a fine tooth comb; unlike other recruiting agencies. The overall initial application and interviewing process was quick and although an opportunity hasnt worked out for me yet, they ensured they would work hard to find a long term position matching my experiences and career goals.Con: Although they are very enthusiastic in the beginning of your search, the enthusiasm and communication fades if you don’t meet their immediate needs.

This agency is in decline, every time I called the recruiter I was working with, she had left. They are a mess, they have no idea who the candidates are or what their skills are. I talked to Rachel, Pearl, Christine and Cheryl, who among all of them was the worse. She lacks peoples skills, she is extremely rude and you can see how bored she is doing her job. I have wide experience as a paralegal, I am a foreign trained lawyer and I hold a Master in Laws. I was applying for a legal assistant position and she thought I wouldnt qualify for the job. Try to find a candidate as qualified as me for your next position Cheryl. I will never work with this agency again and recommend employers and candidates to look for a decent agency that really cares.
