This company is not responsible. I came here and left the car for them for almost 2 months for repair. When I received the car, 2 exhaust pipes were cut. when I told them, the company owner said it was not their responsibility and asked me to contact my insurance to deal with it. I asked, what if my car is lost in their shop? They also replied to me it was not their responsibility. I am contacting a lawyer to get my rights back. Everyone be careful with this company.
Myself and my business partner bought a used box truck for our freight transportation business, took it to ferguson to get a diagnostic done because we wanted the truck to be fully functional since we bought it used and would be driving all over the country. When we first got to ferguson we spoke with Jerry and told him what we needed done. We explained to him that the A/C wasnt working, the fuel gage wasnt working and that a light was out on the side of the truck by the hood, we also told him to find whatever issues the truck may have fix it and also to do a DOT inspection. We dropped the truck off and received an estimate 3 days later for what the total cost would be to get the truck fixed, the estimate was a little over $7000 dollars we paid it. We got the truck back after 2 weeks and it seemed to be functioning properly, minus the fuel gage it wasnt addressed and they didnt do the DOT inspection we asked for, besides that the truck ran well, A/C was blowing really cold, as it should since we got a brand new A/C system. We hit the road for our first load and the truck completely loses power, we couldnt figure out the source of the power loss so we called a mobile diesel mechanic to come out the to assist us with our issue. Our truck is a 2007 international 4300 which is equipped with dual tanks, turns out we ran out of diesel because the truck was only pulling diesel from the passenger side tank, the other tank which was completely full was not functioning at all. That was one of the issues that ferguson should have caught and addressed since we metioned to them that the fuel gage was not working and we wanted everything checked. After all of that on our way back to Texas the A/C stops working, the drive back home was a very bad experience it was extremely hot and we had a firewall issue that made it even worse. We get back home and take the truck back to ferguson for them to check the A/C since they were the ones that fixed it the first time, they are busy and back logged a little and thats understandable but there was no type of communication from ferguson to let us know anything, no phone call, no email, nothing. We went up there July 1st and spoke with Scott the owner, he apologized for the lack of communication and was very helpful, however at this point the damage had already been done it took them almost two weeks to get the truck in the bay we didnt receive no type of priority given the amount of money we had already spent. We are a new business and cant afford to be out of service for too long. After hours of diagnosing issues the truck may have we received a quote for $9,000 dollars which including fixing the A/C again granted we were told that the teuck had a lot of bypassing which might have led to the current issue, my only problem with that is it had those same bypass issues the first time, why was that missed? Was a full diagnostic even done the first time? We were told we needed brakes and a number of additional things, why was all of this missed the first time the truck was there. From the brief conversation i had with Scott ferguson i can tell that hes a great person who takes pride in his work and his business, its just disappointing when it seems like not everyone there does, once we get the truck back we will no longer be doing business with ferguson and we wish them all the best..
As a young adult its hard to figure out a go-to place for getting my car looked at. Before I moved to Texas I would just take my truck to any local place and just deal with whatever issues I had and it was always a sort of uncomfortable and uncertain ordeal. However, Ive found that Ferguson Truck Center is a total change of pace! The guys there really work hard to do the best for your truck and are super kind and communicative, always careful to explain any issues my truck is having to me (a not very mech-savy person) in ways I can understand and troubleshoot! They are quick to address problems and overall a wonderful place to make your regular go-to truck shop!
I had Ferguson inspect two trucks that I am purchasing, I am in Atlanta so it saved me a flight and a lot of time. I spoke to Tim and Laura, both were very professional and helpful. The tech, Howard, was very thorough on the inspections noting any imperfections. Even the salesman at the dealer said they were great to work with!
Wonderful customer service. Great people.
Very professional I will continue to do business there .
Knowledgeable, honest service.I brought in my 1981 MCI bus/motorhome for an analysis and diagnosis of an acceleration issue.Mr. Ferguson quickly found the issue and he and the guys performed a rapid repair, not only fixing my acceleration issue, but even giving me back some lost horsepower and top speed.Very professional communication and service-oriented experience.Glad to know theres someone with a lot of Detroit Diesel expertise in Houston to help me out with my classic bus when I need a smart mechanic.
Great customer service, good prices and overall a very professional environment. No problems at all.I will definitely return for future business and will recommend this shop to all my friends and coworkers.
I currently manage a fleet of 35 DOT units. Ferguson Truck Center is my go to for nearly all of my repairs. If it is something that I need in and out quickly, the crew always finds a higher gear to deliver on time. They stand behind their work 100%. In the very rare cases that a repair doesnt work, they offer a warranty and stand behind it. They are always eager to make the vehicle right.I have tried other DOT shops, and though they might be able to make a repair, they in no way stand up to the professionalism and standards that Ferguson Truck Center holds to. They are far above par in all aspects relating to DOT repairs, and will go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is satisfied.
Did a great job on my personal truck. Scott is very thorough and the price was right. In my case, when I went to go pick up the truck I was told the parts were actually a little lower than originally quoted. Basically, they had the opportunity to take me for a little extra, but was straight with me. I also appreciated that when I got my truck back, the interior didnt look like it had actually been to the shop. Definitely my new home for keeping my diesel running right.
Scott Ferguson and his team have been a crucial part to keeping my fleet of specialized trucks on the road and safe. After making the switch to Ferguson about a year and half ago, and tracking my maintenance cost it is amazing what they were able to do for me and my company. I will admit I am always looking for a better deal, but finally realizing you cannot sacrifice service for price and the truth is they have saved me more money than they have cost me. Their attention to detail and friendly staff has made not only a lifelong customer but a friend. Keep up the good work!!!
Best deal! And awesome shop. Service was spectacular and exception especially Tim, he was very helpful to us.
Very thorough and professional. The only place I have found that repairs my trucks the first time. I also like the fact that they give me a very detailed quote of everything wrong with the trucks so I never have any surprises.
Pros: Team was, overall, courteous to begin with.Cons: Took our company vehicle to get scheduled maintenance completed. We called in to see when we could pick truck up and were told around 4:30 pm. Once we paid for an uber to head down there, we decided to call down to ask another question. When we called we were told that the truck was not ready. This made us late for our next day events and cost us an uber ride. We requested something be done to remedy the loss. We were told we’d get a call within the next couple of days. We did not receive a call. I called in today to get an understanding of the proposed solution to be told I wouldn’t receive a call until Monday. I requested a call back same day, as we have already been waiting. Once I received a call back, I was told the GM was unwilling to work out any type of reimbursement. I asked for corporate’s information so that I may express my dissatisfaction. I was told that they are privately owned and that the owner would contact me Monday. At this point, my experience ended up less than pleasant.
Furgeson is the best the staff is friendly they have a good lounge for the drivers tv pool table etc. Always get the job done as fast as possible. Thanks mr Scott.
I deal with Nestor and Scott on a regular basis. Both are very professional and provide excellent service to their customers. Keep up the great work.
Friendly staff always welcomed. Great parts people Nestor has always greeted me with so much respect and makes sure you get taken care of on the spot.
Ferguson is one awesome company, great work at affordable cost!!!!! We take all of our fleet to them when service is needed. Also Tim Freyre in the service department is one heck of a guy, just beware he may leave hot wing sauce on some of your paper work. Also apparently they dont work on Tonka trucks (trust me I tried), other then those two things I have nothing bad to say about Ferguson Truck Center. I left a picture of Tim below just so you know who to watch out for with hot sauce fingers.
I had my turn signal replaced. It was completed within hours at a very good price. I will be back and recommend to everyone! Wonderful people.
I recommend this place, The service guy named Tim is very helpful, always provides the best service.
Knowledge staff, quick and friendly service
Awesome service
They Claimed they did PM on my trailer... I was charged for it, BUT THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING, a mechanic elsewhere pointed it out. Now Im not sure if they actually did the pm on the truck... one thing for sure is that, Im not going back there. Too expensive too.I dont trust them. Sad. Integrity matters
Great people to do business with, Nestor in parts is very helpful
They are great workers and they speak Spanish and English and they are so helpful I had a great experience
A good facility with a good friendly staff, they care about the customers and getting the job done.
Had used this place for a lot of repairs to our moving trucks. Then they put in a new transmission and some other work to our truck. Around $7500 worth of work. We pick the truck up and it wouldnt start. Thought maybe they left lights on didnt think anything of it. The next day we use the truck to load and unload a customer house. Get loaded up and one of the hoses bust wide open while driving to the unload.I called them when truck broke down and said hey, yall just did work on the truck and now something has gone wrong with one of the hoses. They say ok we will send a mobile mechanic and wont charge you much to go look at it. The guy arrives to look at the truck and says ok guys its just the hose nothing else is wrong after looking at it for 5 min. So we towed it full of the customers items to our office. They then charge me around $200 for coming and looking at the truck they just fixed.I have a different mobile mechanic come out to change the hose and we start the truck up. Smoke comes from under the dash and the hose bust again. So now I know there is free flowing electricity thru the truck. The guy who put the transmission in never ended up putting back in the ground wire. So it busted the hose, messed the radio up, burnt the cable for transmission to the column shift. I then have the customers stuff for 3 days at this point so have to rent another truck out, moved everything into that truck, take off 600 for the customers bill, paid for towing and the new repairs all totaling around 3800 dollars. For one I have used you guys like 6 times before and one problem comes up after a truck leaves and you seriously charge me to come look a truck that just left your office the day before 20 minutes away from your shop. Then the maybe owner or operations manager was a complete jerk.I turned all of the invoices in that this cost me because of their fault and I basically had to get annoyed with the guy to finally get a check for $1300.now I know you guys made more then 1300 on my job for repairs. Yet I am out an additional $2500 because you let full electricity flow through a truck and mess a lot of stuff up.And tell me to deal with it and they dont care if I post about any of it online thats all I was getting.problems happen but the way they fixed this was a absolute jokeStay away
Well just went over to talk with Scott the owner and he is a stand up guy that will do anything to rectify the problem and he did. Now I will keep doing business with them.
Let me share my experience as an minority O/O, when i arrived on 9/21/18 early at 8 a.m. as i was asked to be by the guy i always deal with there, for some reason the owner checked me in, during that brief wait, I watched the owner curse and talk to his employee like a dog, so i thought maybe this is a lazy employee, so i brushed it off, was i wrong, the owner is very judgemental and disrepectful, after being charged way more than the book hours for a radiator swap, plus a belt tension pulley, that $4000 and change seemed a bit excessive, because i received several calls throughout the days I waited for it to be complete from the owner that itll be just over a grand in labor, so you can guess i was concerned with a $4000 bill, when the radiator is less than $1200, book hours will be disregarded at this shop, when you take off a radiator, you cant charge extra to vacuum down the AC, because its included in the book hours for the job, which is 6 to 8 hours, oh well i was a total if 13 hours, and when i questioned it, the shop manager told me it simple, if you dont like our prices and the way we charge, you can take it and tow it somewhere else hows that for customer appreciation, and this is after they cut my bolts out the bottom of my radiator, so i was told that after they had my old radiator out, and all my parts scattered, also i suspect the employee that cut my bolts didnt try to use a back up to take the bolts off, so yes i was told after they cut my bolts off, never a call to say come and see we have rusted bolts, just cut away! But for $4000 EVERY hose they had to touch should have been NEW, and if you think im writing this over 4 grand think twice, because i have dealt with this shop before and I liked that 1 person i dealt with, he was always courteous, but to be told to bring in a CASHIERS CHECK really was insulting from the owner, but to look the owner in the face and question why i needed to pay with a CASHIERS CHECK, it was evident, i took a look around of his employees, quite disturbing, ok so yeah it took a week to get my truck back on a 3 day job, yesterday I was headed to Laredo from Houston, wasted 4 more gallons of antifreeze, because of a leak, and all i could think about was how he wanted his money in a CASHIERS CHECK, of course i called, because AC went out, fan clutch is staying on, and that makes you burn more fuel, because it takes away horsepower, also my jakes are out, called the owner about 30 min ago and explained to him whats wrong, his nasty attitude along with bring it back in and well take a look at it (open your wallet)BUT? you know we didnt touch the Jake brakes, i said ok, but the fan you took off for the tension pulley and the condenser too, thats my main issues, im not satisfied at all, yeah i have a new radiator, but for the money i spent, this should have been a perfect review, I shouldnt have more problems, but instead, i had to go to international and spend $140 on a pipe that couldve been cleaned with a wire brush before it was put back on, instead it was put back on with flaking rust, we all know as a mechanic you use a electric wire brush to knock off rust and paint over with black paint thats rust resistant, so no, Im not some shady tree mechanic, I have certification,MIGHT i add, from experience, when you deal with a shop, and you have more problems coming out than you had going in, FIND YOU ANOTHER SHOP,NEVER GO BACK!
Very trustworthy and very knowledgeable. Great customer service.
They will rob you!!! Charged me $12k to replace the head on the engine and also charged my buddy $6k to replace a power divider. Im telling you dont take your truck here if you dont want to get screwed. Also the head and valve cover gasket started leaking oil on all sides within a few weeks.
The best diesel shop in Houston
Great people!! Great service!!!
Negative experience there.
Grate service
Excellent service and very friendly and attentive staff
It is the best workshop in Houston, people are honest, good service and speak Spanish. This workshop does everything, I recommend it for people who are looking for a workshop that will regulate their vehicle well the first time.
I have been employed at Ferguson Truck Center for 10 years, and in that time, under the direction of Scott Ferguson and his administration, I found what my career would be. I began to work as a workshop assistant, assisting them in keeping the workshop clean, delivering vehicles and assisting the mechanics with what they will deal with. Scott gave me the opportunity to work in the part department as a driver, thats where my interest in this industry showed. I was a chauffeur for a few years, and through talks, they learned that I had body shop repair experience. Yet again I moved to parts buyer, it was there under my effort and management direction where I learned more about diesel repairs, trailers, brakes, air conditioning, hydraulic platforms and various other commercial luggage repairs. Now I am one of the butlers who help with day-to-day operations and worked under Scott and his second in command. It is not common to find a company owner who takes time out of his day to teach and digest as he does with his employees. I hope to be very successful with this company.
