I went there and they said they’re only doing basic $20 washes today so I did it. They did a horrible job then when I called to tell them they said I need the executive and a basic wash won’t help my car. Why didn’t they tell me before I got the wash? Don’t recommend.

Great prices and great service! Brought my truck here for a hand car wash, it took less than an hour to do. I had glass inside the truck due to my windows being smashed in Houston (surprise surprise) so I needed extra cleaning from dog hair and they detailed some of the inside while getting all of the extra glass out that I couldn’t. I am very happy with my interior detail that I had done here at Splash Hand Car Wash on Shepherd. After comparing the prices of several auto detail businesses, Splash had the most reasonable pricing for the services I was needing, which was the shampoo and complete interior detail of my Tacoma. I dropped it off at around noon and was informed it would be ready by close of business on a busy saturday, which I was happy to know that they take their time with their interior detailing. They even cleared out all of my belongings into bags so that they could clean the glove compartment, middle console, etc. It was SPOTLESS, and I honestly feel like im driving a brand new car. For $115 for a truck, and the cleaning of my truck bed as well, I was more than satisfied and would definitely bring my car back here the next time I need a wash or detail.Thanks Splash!

Took my vehicle on wash and wax Wednesday, 3 vehicles in line. Took them 3 hrs to wash, wax, and shampoo the front floor mats. Vehicle was washed quickly but then sat for over an hour untouched. Had to ask for them to even start the wax after 2 hrs had passed. Lady at front stated they were busy. Doesnt seem right that cars coming after me were quickly washed and on their way while my vehicle sat parked for over an houruntouched after being washed. My vehicle was not prioritized in with the washed cars and completed. I have come here for many years but this experience does make me wish to return.

I went to Splash Hand Car Wash & Detail at Shepherd location for my car interior detail wash because it has 4.6+ rating, and it surely did awesome job! I dropped off my car on the busy Sunday afternoon and picked up the next day. They explained to me how they are going to do the detailing and the pricing was very reasonable. All the carpets and the floors were steamed and shampooed like brand new. They also wipe and treat the interior very well. Would highly recommend this business.

Check card statement a few days after going here. Got a standard car wash which is about 23$. Left a 4$ tip on the card. Later that week I see I was charged $63.00. Not sure if they lady hit an extra 0 on the tip or what, but definitely got over charged. Other than that it was a decent 23$ car wash.

Had such a great experience here! It was my first time using this business and it could not have gone better. The interior of my car was an absolute disaster after having my kiddo spill drinks and crumbs everywhere. I got an interior wipe down, vacuum, and (most importantly) seat shampoo. The car looks brand new on the inside now! It was a job very well done and for a reasonable price. I will definitely be back.

Staff was nice and polite. Said they could only do a basic clean for $20 (more than regular price) on Sunday. As you can see, they didnt clean anything stuck on the car, just a quick wash and wipe. Not worth $20 when Eagle is less expensive and pays attention when they wash the car. Girlfriends car was the same way. Lots more areas where they didnt really clean but this was the most noticable and easily photographed.

We have come back again and again. Love a hand wash along with the care they give to each vehicle. They even dry (as much as possible) the cars at the end. Everyone is always friendly and genuinely seems to care about the work! That definitely insures returning customers!

Job well done on cleaning my car. However, when I asked about the time for a wax they said it would be 1.5 hour wait. I said ok, no thank you, I don’t have that much time. I’m now at the 2 hour mark and my car still isn’t done…and that’s without a wax job. Very bad at communicating what to expect of your time commitment when you go to the window to purchase your services.

They don’t answer the phone. I’ve come twice at 9 am, and twice the detail crew has not shown up for the day. Unprofessional, I took the business elsewhere.

Great car wash! The interior detail was amazing and car looked brand new. But you have to show up early in the morning as they only do a few details per day and it’s first come, first serve.

I got the deluxe detail package and my car has never been as clean as when I went to pick it up. They definitely pay attention to detail and get every nook and cranny they can. My girlfriend saw how amazing it looked and now wants to get hers done too! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to get their car washed, cleaned, or detailed! It smelled absolutely amazing after as well. Everyone there was also very friendly. I even asked if they could take off unnecessary stickers attached to my front windshield and they didnt no problem!! Will be coming here every time I need my car done!

We tried to call three times to make an appointment day before and could not get ahold of anyone. So we drove our car to this location the next day to get a detail and see if they had openings. My husband waited in line for 45 min and finally was helped and was told they didn’t have any openings left for that day that we had to call and make an appointment. The worker also said someone should have asked him while waiting in line what service he needed and no one came up to him. Then he had to wait 20 min to get out of line after not being serviced. I would absolutely not come here.

I have been going here for a few years and no issue. This time was not the usual amazing experience. I was running a little late to an event and they seemed busy and didn’t look over my car due to amazing experiences in the past. 1 the car still had dirt in certain sections. 2 I asked for my rubber matts to be cleaned and it’s an extra charge and it was not done. 3 the chrome handles in my car have scratches now 😞. It’s as if the the dirty sponge scratched my handles. They are usually amazing but due to the scratches on my handles now, I am not sure if I would go back.

INCREDIBLE!! My car was FILTHY! I had no expectations of anyone being able to clean it. Sam and Anthony at Splash #2 exceeded my expectations. I have been coming here since they first started this business many years ago. And i have never been disappointed. The service is second to none and they pay great attention to detail. If you find anything wrong with the wash or detailing all you have to do is let them know and they go out of their way to fix the problem and make you happy.

The service was great! I had dried grass stains to the right side of my car and they were able to remove it using a clay bar treatment, all by hand! Sam was extremely attentive and professional throughout the entire experience. He even suggested less expensive alternatives for me to try on my own before committing to their services. Highly recommend!

I got a deluxe detail on a SUPER dirty work truck. Wasn’t expecting much out of the truck because the carpet was filled with stains, mud & such. Spoke to the manager and he told me they would do their best and they really did! They did a PHENOMENAL job on the truck bringing it back to life. Super happy with the job. Would come back here 100x again!

I have been here 3times all of them I have had to ask them to come back and wipe this or clean that or pls guys you forgot to put the wax or the armor all on the seats and on the bottom or the tires. Its extremely frustrating specially after an hour and a half of waiting 😤 definitely wont be coming back.

Splash did a great job on my black car with very dirty alloy wheels. I purchased the Wash and Wax special for $45 on Wednesday. They hand wax and hand buff the wax off of my car. My car is black so it shows every swirl and scratch if you dont do it well. My car looks perfect just like when it was brand new. Also, my alloy wheels were so dirty with brake dust and dirt. They clean it so that you can eat off of it. Ive tried Soap Hand Car Wash (they used a buffing machine for waxing) and Upper Kirby Car Wash (they used a liquid spray on wax). Both of them doesnt compare to Splash IMHO. Just come here and you wont regret it.

Took Tacoma in to get detailed before trading it in, opted for the Detail Deluxe. I knew the truck was going to come back clean but these guys went WAY passed my expectations! Highly impressed with the end results, the cleanliness of my vehicle afterward and they wiped down the engine bay; making it look amazing. Traded the truck in for the value I wanted. Highly recommend these guys and definitely bringing in my new truck when the time comes!

I highly suggest the executive wash if you need the inside of your car cleaned. I’ve gotten it twice so far. The first time my dog got the seats super dirty. The second time was after a road trip where my friends sat in the seats while wet so everything started to smell. Both times they cleaned the car super well. The seats were spotless and the smell was gone. Extremely satisfied

Best value for a car wash Ive experienced in Houston. They take their time compared to larger chains to make sure that they do a great job. Manager even took the time to call me later in the day asking how my car was. Could not recommend this place more.

For only $155 I got a full interior and exterior detail. I didn’t know what to expect because it is about $40 cheaper than competitors in the area. However, they removed every piece of dog hair from my dog and made it look like a brand new truck. After shampooing the seats and floors I’m convinced it’s brand new. The wax job on the outside was phenomenal and the tire coating very luxurious. I couldn’t have asked for a better job. Not to mention the care and attention to detail. After the seats and floors had dried I went to put my things back and found small scent packets hidden throughout to privately keep my truck smelling great! Excellent job! I wish I could give a 100 star review!

This is probably one of the best car detailing places in town. The owner is amazing and will be honest about what you need and not try to up-sell you. They do a great job with the car. The car always comes out pristine and perfect. Like I said, I dont think anyone could do any better. Great place.

I took my (large) truck over to these guys on a Sunday afternoon in extremely filthy condition on the outside. They not only made my truck look damn near brand new outside, but also took out my WeatherTech floor mats and pressure washed them! Super service, highly recommend!!

These guys have been hand washing and waxing my Lotus for about 18 months now... Not 1 scratch or swirl mark. These guys pay attention to the details. Their regular wash soap doesnt strip my wax off... clean sponges and towels, etc...They understand that just one grain of dirt stuck in a sponge or towel can scratch paint. I still hand wash it myself sometimes so I have my own hands on the car quite a bit and have found no damage. Car comes back clean and my wheels are a huge pain to get clean. Fair price too. Shout out to Sammy the manager for always having a great, friendly attitude... even when I get all nitpicky on him!

There’s a reason why this place is usually busy —they do a very good job. I try to keep my car relatively clean; no one else really rides in it other than me, if I have to bring my dogs there’s a cover, etc. With that being said, I try to have my car washed every two weeks by these guys. My car almost looks like it’s been detailed whenever it leaves this place and for the price of their basic wash ($18) only!Sometimes I’ll pay $5 extra for them to wash the mats but if you have just some light dust in there, their vacuuming really does the job. For the basic wash they also apply Armor All on your tires.I have been to this place countless times and they are also very consistent. I’ve been to places where they dry the body then go down to the tires and back up (big no no!!!!) but never with these guys.There’s so many car washes to try in this area alone but don’t bother and go straight to Splash!

I have gone to this car wash multiple times and honestly, Ive been very pleased with the service. They are really detailed and will make sure you are happy with the results.The reason I stopped going is because I drive an SUV and in an attempt to get to the roof, the guys would climb on the sides with the doors open and put so much weight on the doors that the hinges started to make an awful squeaky noise. Also, while doing this they would grab onto the inside panels of the roof and sides and leave stains.If they find a better method of doing this I would go back, otherwise never again.My 2016 Jeep ended sounding like a 1986 car whenever I opened the door. Very unhappy about that.

I took my new car here for the first time last week. The line was long on a Friday afternoon (as expected) but I had my car cleaned in less than an hour. As you wait, there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Best deal for a car wash in the loop - $18 for a compact is a steal!

Very satisfied with Splash. Used to pay $35 at Mister car wash, but I had to get in there myself to get it cleaned to a level I liked (I am very picky about my car). Splash charged $40 and cleaned it as good as I like. The manager walked out and asked me if I was satisfied or needed anything else. I hope you guys keep up the great work!

It somehow feels better than new (which is no small feat, considering we have two dogs and I managed to spill some Chinese food in the backseat a few days ago).Additional pros:- The manager and his team are so nice! Talk about service with a smile.- Theyre flexible. I dropped my car off thinking Id want the Express Detail, but changed my mind about an hour later. I called them up and asked if itd be OK to change to the Deluxe, and he said no problem at all (and let me know it would take longer).- If youre getting an intensive detail that could take a few hours, theres no need to hang around on site. Theyll give you a call to let you know when your car is ready. On a related note - theyre within walking distance from River Oaks Shopping Center and a few bars (for example, Kenneallys and the Red Lion, both of which are literally 20 seconds away), so theres plenty of stuff to do nearby while you wait.

Gonna go ahead and say these 3 stars are justified because it’s ”Ladies Day” (Wednesdays) and I was told as soon as I approached the window (where the owner takes payment) that all they’re doing are basic washes because they’re busy. And they certainly were because I had already waited in line about 25 mins before getting to the window. I specifically came on a Wednesday so I could get a discounted wax. I questioned Sammy as to why and he gave me a response along the lines of “my customers know to get here by 430 to be able to take advantage”. Well guess I’ll need to take off work in the future! Nope. And I actually was there about then but had been waiting in line. I find this to be unacceptable customer service. No apology and no consideration of people that don’t know this unwritten practice. Also, this essentially means homeboy changes the services he provides on any given day depending on busyness or other factors. The last time I went he was also “only doing basic washes” for a reason I can’t even remember. He’s a nice, personable guy as other reviewers have shared but annoying as a business owner. Pretty sure most people are going here because they’ve been customers for a long time. Not ideal for a newbie. I’d give 5 stars to all the employees that wash my car so well there, though!

When I moved to Houston, I was in search of an affordable, detailed, and speedy car wash. After a few years of searching (automated washes included), I found Splash and Im so glad I did! The attention to detail amazes me every time. The Basic wash for $18 is anything but basic. If youre there during busy periods like evenings and weekends, quality isnt sacrificed. They treat each car with the same respect whether its an older Toyota or a brand new luxury car. I know this from experience. Sammy and his crew know you by name. Thats saying something in a town with millions of people. Ill be a customer as long as theyre around.

I stumbled upon this gem a few months ago. I went in just for a wash which included a vacuum. I have a dog that sheds a lot so I was impressed when they managed to get most of the fur.As I waited inside, the owner struck conversation. We talked about random topics and I was on my way. I left out feeling satisfied with the service and with the hospitality.Fast forward to last week...I wanted and needed my car detailed. Splash #2 was the only car wash that came to mind.I give 4 stars only because I don’t like the way the way they handle their calls. I tried calling that Friday night but it was after hours. There was no voicemail. I called a half hour before they opened, no answer no voicemail. I called exactly at opening time and off & on until about 12:00 p.m., still with no luck. Finally just after 12:30 or so, the owner picks up. I tell him I’m wanting to bring my car in for a detail and he tells me they’re full for the day. He says I can drop off at 8:30 a.m, any day. I was a little upset because I knew that meant I’d have to miss church on Sunday all because I was a first time client and didn’t know this until he finally answered the phone. It’s not posted on the website and no one picks up the phone, nor is there a voicemail to leave a message for someone to call you back to answer your questions or provide you with details. There’s got to be a better way that’s a little more customer friendly. The other thing that I didn’t know about until I got there was that I had to remove every single item from my car, including the glovebox. This information would’ve been helpful to know prior to going.I dropped my car off at 8:30 a.m. that Sunday and picked it up around 4:00 p.m.. It was spotless! From top to bottom. Every piece of dog fur was gone. The carpets and seats were shampoo’d so well, It looked like a brand new car. I was impressed.At the end of the day, I’m almost positive that I’ll be returning . They are detailed and not too pricey.

Great job with express detail. Interior had a LOT of dog hair and it is all gone. Very happy with entire experience. Was there at 9 AM opening and bit of a line but was still out in an hour. Take a coffee, newspaper and sit in their outside chairs if weather is nice.Great start to Labor Day Weekend.

Water pooled into the floor of my car during a flash flood on July 4th, so I brought my car here the following day. The whole carpet was very well vacuumed, shampooed, and sterilized for an affordable cost. I actually think I saved money using their service rather than renting the materials somewhere and vacuuming/sterilizing the car myself. Excellent customer service as well. Thanks for your help!

I took my boyfriends car here in 2018 to get it surprise detailed for his birthday. It had never been done before and desperately needed it, and when we got it back it looked like it did the day he drove it off the lot in 2016. In 2019 we got it done again before we went on a road trip to Vancouver, Canada in order to have things be nice and clean on the drive, and again it was perfect.This week (March 2021) we bought an older truck, and it came to us DISGUSTING. How that much pollen can accumulate INSIDE a vehicle is beyond me. We took it to Sammy and I tried to apologize beforehand at how absolutely terrible this was going to be for them, and when I got it back I literally didnt even know it was the same car. Everything was perfect, spotless, cleaner than I even anticipated it would be, and at this point I expect them to do a good job based on previous experiences. I will always recommend this place to everyone. 10/10.

Their prices are very cost effective and they do a really great job. Their basic wash is less than twenty dollars and that in itself is a good value for what they do. They can be very packed the day after it rained or on a sunny day or on the weekend but they are typically able to get you in and out fairly quickly all things considered. Theres a unisex restroom and an inside fully at condition waiting area in addition to the outdoor waiting area.

Got my car detailed here and I was very satisfied. I thought they put in a new console to be honest, that’s how clean it was! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wash, detail or anything in between.

Went on a Wash and Wax Wednesday for $55. Coming from someone who details automotive interiors as a hobby, they pay good attention to detail. Front desk was very kind. Even get a coupon for a free side of fried potato chips from the Irish Pub next door.
