My review from about a year or two disappeared magically. Just here to warn other people again. I GAVE A DEPOSIT and scheduled an appointment to drop off my truck for a paint correction and coating. On the day of the appointment, a friend and I took time off work so he could drive me back. We get there and their door was closed, I knocked and waited for an hour. No one was there. ON THE DAY AND TIME THEY SET UP FOR ME. Extremely unprofessional, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because you know, things happen. After leaving, I called and left voicemails and e-mails for several days without any response. Also drove by a couple of times, and the office was always closed during their advertised business hours. Eventually I gave up and lost my deposit, this review should not be deleted by google again, they STOLE my deposit and I never heard back from them. People need to know my experience.

Outstanding quality of work and fast customer service! The level of work and attention to detail Curtis delivers is incredible. You wont be disappointed with this mans work. I look forward to bringing more of my work to clarity auto detailing!

So I just confirmed my Maserati Brake Calipers were stolen from me. (Keep in mind its been 2 months since he took them) Here is the whole story so DONT do business with Clarity Auto Detailing!!! The owner Curt Alan (Curtis Sullivan) came to my house on Jan 6th 2021, accepted a $400 deposit and took my brake calipers off my car and has not returned them since! (Almost 2 months now)...With multiple verbal harassment and considering the fact that he stole my calipers, he will not earn business from me or my friends.

His work speaks for itself. If you want powder coating completed the right way, see Curtis. Hands down the best and most detailed work in Houston.

Has done powdercoating and detailing work for me on 3 Vipers and a Porsche over the last few years. Impeccable attention to detail and a master of color corrections and coatings. Prices are downright cheap for the hours spent on our vehicles. Have seen everything from mustangs and camaros to aventadors and rolls royces leave that shop. Whatever your flavor, Clarity doesnt disappoint.

Clarity Auto Detailing powdercoated my front and rear bumper caps on my 2016 Tundra. I dropped 4 pieces off at around 2pm and Curtis called me a few hours later telling me they were ready for pick up. Would definitely recommend using Clarity. Great communication, great price, and even better attention to detail when it came to quality of work.

If you understand and appreciate the personal touch and care given here you will be extremely happy. Unlike some other shops that may churn out cars more quickly. I do not recommend Clarity at all. Dropped my vehicle off for PPF and a differential cover for powder coating and was told it would be completed in 2 weeks so I booked a return flight since I live 8 hrs away and an hour before I was to fly out I get a email saying it was not going to be ready and that is all I heard from them. Skip ahead 3 weeks after that with no contact at all and I was told it would be completed in a week so I book another flight. Meanwhile over the past 6 weeks this guy had been driving my vehicle as if it was his own and put 850 plus miles on it. As soon as I land I am told it is still not completed and get excuse after excuse why it is not done so I end up staying in Houston an additional 6 days before I am told I can pick it up at 8:30 at night when confronted about the mileage was told he added ppf that I originally didnt ask for and that was that he had no explanation of the miles. Got the vehicle but not my powder coated part but was promised it would be shipped the next day yet it has been 2 months since then and I have yet to receive it. End up getting back home and inspecting it in the light only to find the film installed poorly with overlapping and misaligned on panels and to top it off damage to my vehicle such as dents and scratches and rock chips Im assuming form his daily use of it and also the paint had been cut into from him trimming the film. When I called he was hostile and played the victim and just very unprofessional, since then my number has been blocked and he will not answer calls or emails or letters from my attorney. In the end I get to pay another shop who said it is the worse install they have ever seen several thousand dollars to repair his poor work and get to buy a new differential cover also out flights and missed time from work all so this guy could ride around in my vehicle payment free for 2 months. This guy is a thief and a liar and should not be in the position of running a business or dealing with people at all.

The best Ive ever dealt with. I used Clarity for coating a couple projects and let me tell you, Curtis, the owner, works fast and his craftsmanship is impeccable. Had my projects completed inside a week and they look fantastic. Will definitely be bringing more of my business to him soon. Thanks Curtis and Clarity Auto Detailing!!! Awesome job!

Clarity Auto Detail is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Their attention to detail is top notch. Curtis has done all of my cars and is the only person I trust with them. If you want someone that doesn’t cut corners and goes above and beyond all your expectations then Clarity is definitely for you. All of my cars have had the full treatment of paint correction, CQuartz finest and Suntek protective film. Curtis’ has great communication throughout the whole process. If you are looking for someone that powder-coat then look no farther. ABSOLUTELY the best!!! Great turn around times and flawless!!!! I would trust no one else. A customer for life.

Reading all these rave reviews about their work, I gave my car to clarity to do a paint correction and front half PPF installed.I was told the work would take a week, which I didnt pay too much attention to since schedules always change.After two months of little to no contact, I was able to get the owner to text back after multiple calls.By this time my car had been over at clarity for more than two months, without much communication at all. No replies to phone calls, text messages, messages in social media, or emails.When I finally picked up the car, the work was not complete, and I was met with nothing but attitude, yelling and self defense on the basis that he wasnt given enough time to complete the car... after 2 months.All I asked for was some communication, I never said a rude word to him, nor did I push for the car to completed in an unreasonable amount of time.Ill let the five star reviewers say whatever about his quality of work, but this guy should not be running a business.

Just picked up my Cayenne after an exterior detail, it was flawless. Its more expensive compared to other shops, but the reviews speak for themselves. Theyre transparent and trustworthy - on top of doing excellent work.

I have know Curtis for several years at Clarity Houston. There hasn’t been a visit where I’m left unhappy. I have received a lot of packages ranging from a full pint correction all the way to tint and emblem removal. He is a master at his craft and your vehicle will be under full attention at his shop throughout whatever process you decide to do to your cars / trucks / bikes.

So happy with the work on both our CTS-V and Z06 along with our friends and colleagues stingrays. We have seen his dedication first hand in late nights and amazing results. Curtis has corrected years of rough road conditions. We wont take our cars anywhere else.

BEWARE. I had Clarity take in my brand new month old car to apply C.Quartz Finest which wasnt applied correctly (realized after my first hand car wash). First off, when you call you always have to leave a voicemail and twiddle your thumbs waiting when its convenient for them to call back. BTW, they also charge 6-7% if you decide to pay with a credit card. After realizing they did the job incorrectly, I contacted them leaving several voicemail and texts. Apparently, they are MIA. I never received a response. DO NOT use this company, pay a little more and go with a more respectable and reliable company. I also heard they will lose their C.Quartz Finest account for having so many people complain.

Definitely a professional establishment, does great work and I look forward to dealing with him more in the future.. takes time to really explain things and give options.. nothing feels pushed or rushed.. and I love the attention to detail!

Just picked up my car from them. They did a great job and charged a very reasonable price. You can really tell Curtis takes a lot of pride in his work.

I have Brembo brakes on my car and they were faded, unattractive and pretty much an eye sore on my car. I decided to have Curtis (Mr. Clarity) powder coat my Brembo calipers to clean up my car. He cleaned them up down to bare metal using a media blaster and power coated them the correct way. He didn’t stop there though, he cleaned up the pistons using a lathe to a new shiny finish (even though they will never be seen) and he conditioned the seals to give them a longer life. When he was finished my calipers looked so good that I kinda didn’t even want to put them on lol. He went above and beyond on the job and my car looks so much better and my only regret is I wish I had him do this sooner.

Claritys work is fantastic! There are very few people that can match the work that they do. I would highly recommend Clarity to anyone!

So I just called this place to ask how much it was for a car wash, and their response was what kind of car do you have, i responded with benz c300, and the guy just said no.... okay... i guess my car isnt good enough.

Showed up on day of a appointment at shop opening and door was locked and had to wait over an hour for the lady to show up to let me in. Was getting paint correction and cquartz finest installed. Was told I was going to receive engine bay cleaning and interior cleaning as well in the package. Was told would take 4 days took them almost took 9 days. Throughout those 9 days I was in contact with them to get updates on the vehicle. Also had a hard time to contact them properly, not answering or responding with unclear texts. Finally received the call to pick it up and I show up and the engine bay wasn’t cleaned, interior wasn’t even acknowledged. But the paint did seem to look very impressive at the moment so I let it slide. The lady did tell me they were in the process of moving and she was the only person in the shop and they seemed overwhelmed with vehicles. So after a couple of months started to notice that the paint wasnt being protected like it should have been by the cquartz finest. So I took it vive detailing and they told me that the coating was not installed properly and that they recently had taken some of there customers due to the same sketchy reasons. Vive also told me they would gladly fix my rock chips during the paint correction process and modesta installation. As were curt told me it was not worth his time to touch it up when I asked him about it. The lady did mention he only likes working on the high end vehicles that come into the shop. As were vive will fix anything that comes through there doors. Overall was very disappointed with the service and attention I received from them especially after being charged $1200. I was a newbi to this whole proper detail scene and I choose them based on there good reviews but I should have gone with vive from the beginning.

This guy and place is a joke. He over charges for everything he does. I wouldnt piss on this guy if he was on fire. Id laugh and keep walking.
