I brought my Infiniti Q50 to Carriage approximately two weeks ago. Craig is the best. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of detailing, paint repair and glass repair. He also gave me some tips on cleaners I can use between visits to him. I’m beyond thrilled to have found this place and the coffee is great and the seating area is very comfortable.I left feeling like I had a brand new car. Thank you Craig.

I had a great experience here. They cleaned a very dirty car for a good price, and Craig is very knowledgeable and helpful. When I picked up the car we chatted a bit and he gave me a good recommendation for a cleaning product to use going forward. The waiting area is also very nice, with complimentary coffee and a TV. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

This is the first time I utilized their services for windshield replacement and I couldn’t have made a better decision. Craig is amazing and extremely professional. He got the insurance to pay for even the OEM glass. Will be back here for car detailing for sure going by my experience.

Ive been coming to Craig for nearly a decade. Mostly for car washes and theyve been nothing but amazing! This time I came in for a windshield and they did a fantastic job! The install took about an hour and was as near as OEM as I could get without forking out dealership costs.

This review is to share our recent experience with Carriage Glass & Detail Co. (a.k.a Carriage Co.) and to advise the public on the poor technical standard of service, the uncivil manner of the owner, and the predatory nature of the business.On August 31, 2017, we brought our two (2) vehicles to Carriage Co. for interior service of the flooded flooring after the recent storm. After communicating about the service detail, we paid $900, or $450 for each vehicle in full. However, when the vehicles were picked-up, numerous issues were noticed as a result of the service process upon inspection (see attached images) including but not limited to: 1) distorted font and rear carpet, 2) uneven front and back flooring, 3) missing left rear floor mat, 4) detached foot rest pedal, 5) tampered airbag sensor system.Deemed the service is unsatisfactory, we communicated the issues to one of the owners, Mr. Craig Deas, who had been handling with our work order, and requested remediation of the above damages, without demanding any refund. While insisting upon the service was done according to the standard of the shop, Craig acknowledged the damages caused by the service process and agreed to remediate the issues.On our following visits to pick-up the vehicles, we found some issues were partially remediated, while others were completely ignored. 1) A distorted carpet was partially flattened but large wrinkles were still obvious 2) uneven flooring was partially corrected with exogenous material inserted under the carpet but original contour was manipulated. Other issues with the missing floor mat and tampered airbag sensor system were still left unattended.With the issues not been fully remediated, we communicated again with Mr. Craig Deas and left with disappointment on the technical standard of the service. We later received a phone call from Craig, which proactively acknowledged the issues and offered $600 as a partial refund for the unsatisfactory service performed.However, when we visited the shop to pick up the vehicle, for the last time, we were denied with the previously agreed partial refund. In stead, the other owner, Mr. Andrew Deas, whom we have never spoken to prior, came to confront us and threatened us with a lawsuit. Upon demanding more documentation for this unexpected threat from him, Mr. Andrew Deas further proceeded with additional verbal abuse, assault, threat, and intended to initiate a physical assault. To protect the safety of my wife and the others on site, and to help mitigate the situation as the result of the particular aggressive temperament of Mr. Andrew Deas, we eventually had to call and dispatch two officers from Houston Police Department to Carriage Co. who later advised us on options with legal claims.It is to be clarified that our disagreement with Mr. Craig Deas has been strictly business dispute on the technical standard of service, and Mr. Craig Deas had been making effort to resolve disputes in a professional and civil manner. On the other hand, Mr. Andrew Deas should be solely responsible for escalating the simple business dispute to a legal case.Today, after $900 in total cost and more than four (4) repeated visits, we are left with numerous issues in our vehicles due to the service performed at Carriage Co, and now faced with multiple illegal threats from the owner Mr. Andrew Deas.More updates and clarifications will follow as needed.

This establishment pretty much offers it all. Interior detail services, window replacement, windshield replacement, dent repair, you name it.I can vouch for their windshield replacement service, and their car detailing, and this is the only place I will visit for either.Regarding my windshield, i had called several places in Houston, and their price for a new OEM windshield beat out everyone else by about $50.The service is always great, the owners are always super polite, and their waiting room is extremely comfortable.

Thank you Carriage Glass and Detail for once again taking care of us again!I have done business with Carriage Glass for many years and had several windshields repaired and or replaced by them. Good customer service, confirmed the appointment in the morning and were running on time. Completed glass replacement in about 1 hr while I waited. They have coffee, water and wifi in their comfortable waiting area available. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I recently brought in a black SUV for a full paint restoration service and dent removal. The results were outstanding! Craig and his tech spent a day and a half going over my paint to make sure it was right. The small dent on my fender came out with the metal looking completely flat, very difficult to do on a black vehicle, and the black paint was perfectly glossy with not one visible scratch or swirl mark! I have brought multiple dark colored vehicles to other detail shops in the Houston and Sugar Land areas and none comes close to the amazing work I received at Carriage Glass. The customer service is excellent and absolutely professional. In addition to the paint restoration and dent removal, Craig was able to resolve a body squeak that had been driving me crazy by realigning the rear bumper, a service for which he did not charge. I am very happy I have finally found an auto detail shop that provides great customer care and excellent service. I highly recommend Carriage Glass to anyone that wants the best for their vehicle.

We’ve taken our car here before and have had nothing but great service, however we just came by to see if we could drop our car off for a couple hours to get a wash/wax and the man working the front desk was extremely rude. We were asking questions about service options (glass work, more extensive detailing, etc) and he was very abrupt, condescending and in no way helpful. He was very quick to dismiss us (he literally laughed at a couple of our very basic questions as if they were incredibly dumb to ask, which was extremely offputting) and this is definitely not the service and treatment I’m used to at this establishment, which is a shame.

Called on a Friday at around 11am. Spoke with Andy, one of the owners. He was very friendly and accommodating. He took time to explain my options and quoted me a fair price. By 6pm the same day i had the installer at my office changing the windshield. The job took less than an hour. Quality and labor are exceptional. Manuel was he installer, he too was very friendly and took time to answer my questions.Ill definitely be using Carriage for all my glass and will be recommending them to everyone.Thanka guys!

Absolutely outstanding! My car was broken into last night which just made my day. I called and they gave me a good price and settled my mind. The older man with the glasses (sorry i forgot his name i was a little rattled)was SO nice and had a calm and helpful demeanor. I dropped it off around 9:15 and it was done around 11:30ish and looked and worked great. They replaced my back passenger window. I will never go anywhere else for detailing or replacements EVER!

If youre looking for a detailer in Houston, you can stop looking right now. This is the place to go. Luxury, exotic, muscle, or commuter; Craig, Andy, and the whole Carriage Glass team treat every car with impeccable attention to detail, superb quality of work, and fantastic customer service. Ive been trusting these guys for 3 years now, and have never been disappointed even in the slightest. I have black cars, and everywhere else you could guarantee swirls. Cleaning is routine maintenance if you love cars, and you should build a relationship with your detailer. Icame in needing a clean before a surprise road trip, and even though they were completely booked up, one of the owners volunteered to do the work himself, and I could see the quality flows from the top down. Five stars, only because theres no option for ten.

Very rude service. I went in and told them I had been waiting for 10 minutes and kept asking the guy washing the car “sir, is this where I enter” “excuse me sir, I’m interested in getting a car wash” and made sure I scooted my car all the way up to him and talked way louder- he continued to ignore me and walk right around me and my car while my window down, I was clearly waiting and asking questions.The first person I told about this up front just sort of shrugged his shoulders and said that’s not where you enter and are you interested in a car wash because the automated one is Chevron. I said I put Carriage Car wash in my navigation, that’s what I was waiting on and trying to get service for. The second person again- repeated that that is not how you enter the car wash without initially addressing how absolutely rude the tenant was- I even asked if he was deaf because I was genuinely curious. Someone else laughed. Then the office guy said a very relaxed I’m sorry but again no- well we’d love to serve you ma’am and we’re very sorry about that, would you like to get a hand car wash? Nothing. I actually was coming for a hand car wash, won’t be coming here again- and this was not a laughing matter or funny, I waited 10 minutes asking the guy where do I go and how do I enter and wasn’t he a worker for Carriage?

Called Carriage several weeks ago because some water made it into the back of my car because a drainage pipe from the sunroof was misaligned. Being a very busy professional, I was looking for someone competent to vacuum the water out and identify what had happened. I was quoted $300 by Craig to dry out the car and I would have to leave it several days (so I would have to rent a car and spend a couple hundred dollars more).This seemed exorbitant but because I was in a rush, I was willing to pay a premium. The next day Craig called to say it would be an additional $100 to realign the drainage pipe. I looked it up and this did indeed seem to be a common issue with my car so I acquiesced because Craig had mentioned it the previous day (seems like that should have been included in the original $300). However, I dropped by to see what they were doing for $400. They had disconnected my battery and lifted my carpet after taking out the seats and had some sort of fan going on it. Did not seem like work worth $400 and the guys on Youtube realigning the drainage pipe on my model of vehicle did no more than 30 min of work total in their videos. If I had had the time I would have done it myself. Here is what I found when I picked up my vehicle 2.5 days later on 2 March.1. The car was still moist and my windows still fogged up from it for nearly a week. My car had random trash and a couple tools still in it. The interior part where the drainage pipe was adjusted (not replaced mind you, just re-inserted underneath an easy part to pop off) was full of greasy fingerprints. Gross but I was in a hurry and needed my car back ASAP.2. Craig said they had lost a connecting part to my battery and had had to purchase a small, cheap part to replace it.3. The Air system sensors were signaling they needed to be checked urgently. I pointed this out to Craig before I left the shop and he said it was just an idiot light and should go away in a week. I was in a hurry so I let it go even though I was worried.3. Less than 5 miles away my car DIED. AAA came to fix the issue and found that the small cheap part that kept the battery working that Craig at Carriage had picked up was the wrong size. I called Craig to tell him that I was extremely displeased and had called AAA. He offered to come out but thankfully AAA came first before he could break anything else on my car.4. Nearly six weeks later the airbag sensor lights indicating urgent service needed are STILL on and I have not had the time to get a real professional to look at it.So... $350 I had negotiated with Carriage + $200 car rental fees = $550 wasted and a car with a worse problem than when I started.Unfortunately, I did not read the other review that said Carriage had done the same thing to not one but two other cars.Maybe Carriage is great at the basics like vacuuming and car detailing but I would not trust them with anything. As far as I am concerned, they took advantage of someone polite and in a rush. They will do the same to you.Instead of trying to do a good job to earn my future business, they took advantage. Shame on them. I will not be returning ever lest I be fooled twice by Craigs false sincerity and his teams incompetence.

I went to Atlas Glass at 505 Fairview on 9/27/2018 to have my windshield replaced. They were able to replace the windscreen on my Cayman the same day within a few hours. After taking paying around $450, I took my car home and looked more carefully at their work. The installation was a total botch job. They left unprimed paint chips all around the windscreen. There was silicone still protruding around the edges that I had to cut off with a razor blade. the gap between the glass and metal were uneven on the left, right and top sides. There were bits of glass inside the car that they didnt bother to clean.I took my car to Carriage and had them take a look at the job and they agreed that it was a very bad job and that they even used the wrong windscreen replacement. The one they used was just a little smaller than needed which was why there was larger than normal gaps between glass and metal. The windscreen they used did not have smooth edging like the factory one did and had micro chipping along the top edge that was visible to my eye. At this point I had already made up my mind that I was going to get a higher quality windscreen replaced by Carriage, which actually came in at a lower cost than the lower quality and wrong sized windscreen.I did go back to Atlas and showed them the work and they quickly agreed to replace it for free with the higher quality windscreen. I had to talk to the owner who told me he wouldnt be able to get the windscreen that I wanted for a few weeks because they were not in stock. I did not accept his offer because at this point I could not trust their work and wanted to be done this nightmare. I was hoping they would at least refund labor or windscreen cost but they did not. Needless to say I was not happy with them and I would not recommend this place. The shop was small and dirty, full of leftover parts and bird droppings everywhere. I should have taken this as a red flag but they did have some great reviews on Google so I decided to trust them with the job.Disclaimer: They have 3 different shops, this gripe pertains to the one located at 505 Fairview, they share a building with a auto repair shop. The man who helped me was very nice but they just did a remarkably poor job.Carriage Glass and Detail Co ordered the higher quality windscreen and had it installed the same day I came in and found that one of the A pillar covers had black urethane on it left from the previous job, he kindly showed it to me and asked if I wanted him to remove it with a cleaning solution. After all was said and done, the higher quality windscreen looked so much better on the car and touched up all the paint chips left from the previous job. They threw in the touch up paint and carwash for free to boot! Unbelievably the cost for the higher quality replacement came in lower than the original replacement, I suspect this was because Craig, the owner, felt sorry for me and totally made this terrible situation right for me. Theyve got a life long customer and Ill be coming here for all my car washing and detail work.

They screwed up the installation of my windshield (it whistled at speeds over 60 mph) and I had to go to their shop three times, each time taking one of their people in the car to let them hear the problem. Every time I returned, they did not believe me that the windshield still whistled. So every trip took yet another hour to fix a problem that should have never happened. It was a time-consuming and tedious process. Also, they did not use OEM glass and did not tell me that until it had been installed. They had a bad attitude, at least in my case. I expected better service based on the reviews. Additionally, they initially tried to repair the windshield with epoxy resin (it did not work - the crack spread) and they recommended making a claim against my auto insurance for the very inexpensive repair. That claim raised my premiums far more than the cost of that failed repair. BEWARE: These guys are just bad news. RMS Auto on Westheimer has better service and pricing. I recommend them.

Excellent service. Mr. Josés attention was excellent. Undoubtedly, from now on I will take my van to wash to this site. The service was super fast and efficient. My truck was impeccable, very well washed and vacuumed in record time and all for an incredible price. 100% recommended.
