UPDATE: Everything below is true. Also true is that it has come to my attention that Lighting does work without obtaining proper city approval. Attempts to reach Lightning (Bill) were not successful.Quick like lightning! Very thankful for Bill and his crew for working with me on getting my back patio covered. The estimate was the best I had received after numerous tries for other companies and in the end Im very happy with the product. Bill knew everything required to obtain HOA approval and he was able to start work the very next week after I agreed to the proposal.Well done Lightning.

Bill and his crew did an amazing job on our patio addition. They captured our vision for the project (in detail) and ensured that we were satisfied from beginning to end. Professional, quality work at a great price! Went above and beyond our expectations!

Since it seems my last review was somehow deleted even after you responded, I wanted to post again.—-One star is generous . No matter what you name it ( Lightning, Lightning Earthworks, Lightning Addition, Lightning Paving) it’s still same company and pile . To say hiring Bill and his crew was a mistake is a pure understatement. We hired him for a bathroom remodel, patio door and one side of the fence. Job that should have taken 2-4 weeks. Needless to say almost 3 grueling months later job was half completed, at best, with the worst craftsmanship that I’ve ever seen. He caused extensive damage to wood flooring, bedroom and bathroom walls, pool decking, new patio door and list goes on. So much damage that the cost to fix these were much more than the original job we hired him for. Him and his team had the messiest work stations and disregard for our home. Once he received over 90% of our money things came to screeching halt and we were lucky if we saw a worker one day per week at best, with no directions or knowledge of what to do. That’s coming from their mouth by the way. They left hazardous materials such as nails, chemicals, blades, tools, all over back yard where our kids play for weeks. It was obvious they had no skill to preform the job and it showed quickly. He lied and said he’s a master plumber and electrician, which he is not and did work himself.We heard every excuse and lie in the book and just when you think you’ve heard them all he makes up another full book. Unprofessional individual with total disregard and extreme lack of job oversight. Needles to say he had to be kicked of the job to which is his hope and angle . Of course we never received our money back from him even though he never installed the large items such as shower glass and custom made cabinets. We were successful in filing a claim with his insurance, however they would only cover the jobs that they felt were completed and the damage to the items that weren’t inside the scope. In our case he destroyed our hardwood floors that are obsolete now, he cut tile on the pool decking and cut thru it, damaged the fixtures, tiles I personally bought. We were compensated on those damages but NOT ONE THING FOR THE MASTER BATHROOM WAS COVERED. The work he did had to be all demoed/ re-done because of the damages he caused. What was done was so poor we had to rip everything up. Thankfully we did because we found things with the plumbing, shower and electrical that were not done properly and would had caused more damage.The worst part is even without looking we have found at least half dozen other people in same area that have gone through almost same thing with him. He’s not competent of putting a gingerbread house together. But don’t take my word for it look at the photos and judge for your self.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We hired Bill to build our patio. As per the contract the patio was to be completed in 2 months but he never completed it. After 1 month into project his men stopped showing up and he did not pick up our calls or respond to any messages. He took 90% of the money and completed less than half of the project. We waited for 6 whole months for him to resume work but he never did. His crew left all the construction material in our yard scattered everywhere.There were wood pieces with nails protruding out. We have 2 young kids and they couldnt play in the backyard because it was hazardous for them.

I do not recommend using Bill for your project. He disappeared as soon as the majority of the payment is done leaving the job half done. And to do this half job, he took over 4 months while the contract said 30 days. He did not even file an application with my HOA violating the contract again. I requested him several times to file the HOA with no success. He stopped responding to my phone calls. And he did the same to 2 other families in my community.

We hired Lightning additions (Bill) to get our patio done. It all started well and things were professional, till I made the last major payment, after which he stopped responding and never showed up to resume the work. He didn’t have the courtesy to either refund or return to complete the work.

Loved working with Lightning! Very professional and hardworking company! Did a remodel in the bathroom and they were out within the day we called and finished in a very timely manner and didn’t leave until the job was done right! We are very happy with the results! If you want to hire a company you can trust, this is the one!

This was a great experience. The team knocked out the entire patio (above and beyond what we expected) while we were out of town. Bill made the process painless and even sent 3D renderings of our total project (outside of this first section of work) free of charge. He walked us threw everything and we couldnt be happier. We cant wait to have the roof extension done in the coming weeks.

They did a terrific job excavating our pond and paving close to a mile of road for us. Very fast and fair company. Would definitely recommend.

We develop commercial properties throughout Texas, and Lightning is our go to/owner provided earthwork and concrete sub no matter if we hire a General Contractor or self perform. You cant get top quality paving for under $4 per square foot anywhere else. These guys are top concrete pros!

Great work. Was very happy. On time, on budget. Every issue was covered and no surprise bills. What else could you ask for. We had a concrete patio installed. Highly recommended.
