100% recommend this venue! Sonia makes everything so easy and stress free. I had my wedding here and everything came out perfect! She answered all of my questions every step of the way and even dealt with my last minute changes. I fell in love with the venue as soon as I walked in! The food and cake was delicious, the DJ had all of my guests on the dance floor the entire night, and the bartender was awesome!!! Definitely looking forward to having another event with them. We just had our baby shower here last weekend, Sonia and her team did an amazing job putting everything together. All my guest were amazed how well put together the event was. I definitely recommend anyone who’s looking for a place for an event to come here! Sonia was very flexible with us in payments, extra things we asked for, the theme we wanted etc. The food was also great and tasty.

I did not have to worry about anything she literally took care of everything WHICH WE LOVED!! The restrooms maintained cleaned throughout the whole ceremony. Dont let the parking lot fool you. Once you step in the doors you forget about whats outside. The staff was willing and attentive from beginning to end. However it would have been nice if everything was completed and done 30 minutes before guests started to arrive. Our Celebration of Life came together nicely and many compliments were expressed. I will seek the venue out again.

Sonia and Gabbie at VAM are an team from heaven. From my first phone call to inquire about the venue, until the day after my daughters beautiful formal wedding, I could not have gotten better care, concern, and service from any other venue.Also, we are not American, Mexican, or Italian, which are the main cuisines they feature, so I had concerns about the food. Sonia communicated our needs to Chef Sandra, who is in charge of the catering. Chef Sandra did her research, and hit the nail on the head for our mixed Trinidadian and Nigerian menu. Our guests are still ranting and raving over the delicious food.Our family now calls VAM the big little place, because while it held our 140 guests comfortably. My daughter has an aversion to big, gaudy ballrooms with wildly pattered carpeting, so VAM was just what she dreamed of. It was very warm and intimate, which was just the feel we were going.Sonia, the owner, and Gabby the manager bent over backwards to make sure we were pleased. Even when I got busy and forgot to buy iced tea for the bar...what did I find in glasses during dinner? ICED TEA!!! They also worked very well with our event planning company June Plumm Events, to maje sure all specification were met. I simply cannot say enough about these wonderful ladies.We started with them as clients, and we left as friends, but we are not gone forever. This place is Houstons best kept secret for events, and we will return.❤❤❤❤❤

It had taken me some time to put the proper words in place for a review, but not many words top Phenomenal! From the very moment we walked through the door, we knew this was where we wanted to host our wedding. Sonia, the owner, and her entire family were nothing short of a blessing. She took time out to walk us through the process and did not pressure us while making our decision. She was kind and an absolutely amazing when it came to remaining professional. The venue is beautiful and the staff for the evening made my guests feel like family, just as Sonia did with us. There is plenty of parking and security on duty for your event. Sonia has a team of vendors that can supply your every need and she connects all of the dots so that you don’t have to run around town searching for extra items. We were able to customize our decor, select our menu, set up transportation and order our cake with Sonia without any hiccups. This was such an amazing experience and we love the venue and staff so much that we will be hosting my daughter’s birthday party here as well. To Sonia and her team: Thank you for being able to perfectly execute our plans and make our dream come true! You are truly an angel and we cannot wait to use you all again!

My Husband and I had our wedding here last year in February and the experience was amazing. They really went above and beyond to make your vision come true. They helped with every question i had and made the day of go super smooth. Our wedding was very memorable and Ms. Sonia was just amazing! Definitely would recommend, venue is upstairs and downstairs which i loved!

I don’t even know where to start! This is a beautiful venue! But! What makes it different from all of the rest! And makes it the one! Is the owner, her family and all her staff! I fell in love with this venue and everyone and their service! My son’s 15 birthday dinner August 3,2019 was beautiful they have very professional and excellent people taking care of everything for it to be perfect! Their dedication, service and availability exceeded my expectations I will forever be grateful to them and I look forward to my daughters Quinceañera Next year!!!

The venue is very nice. The decor was very elegant and there was ample parking. My issue was with the venue’s food policy and the security guard’s enforcement of the policy. I am a vegetarian and I have food allergies, so I’m kind of a picky eater. When I attend parties, I usually put a small salad in my purse in case there is nothing served that I can eat. I’m not the type of person that expects everyone to cater to my dietary needs. Upon our arrival, the security guard told me that he would need to search my purse. He saw my salad and bottle of mineral water and told me in a very rude and condescending manner that there was food inside that he was “sure” I could eat and that I couldn’t take my salad or water inside. I explained my situation to him and he said that I would need to go in and speak with someone and that person would need to come out and tell him that it would be okay for me to bring my salad and water inside. I had to go back to my car to leave my salad and water, so that I could enter the venue. When dinner was served, there was nothing being served that I was able to eat, and a salad course was not served. The last thing I wanted to do was disturb the program that was in progress to ask for “permission” to go to my car to bring my salad in.This venue needs to be aware that there are individuals with varying dietary restrictions and needs who don’t expect their hosts to cater to their individual needs and may bring a small snack with them so that they can participate in the celebration without disrupting the program. There also needs to be a protocol in place for these situations that may arise that doesn’t involve having the guest leave their food in the car and go into the venue to ask for permission to bring in food that they know they will be able to eat.

Very beautiful venue. The service was superb. The Bride and Groom were very satisfied with everything.Please support this venue.

Sonia is amazing..we would have used the venue But we had more than 150 people and I think the venue holds up to 100 people

My husband and I were looking for a place to do our babyshower. We called venue at memorial and schedule an appointment with Mrs Sonia. The moment we met with her and her assistant we knew we found the place. They were so nice and caring. She understood exactly how we wanted our baby shower to be and made it happen.
