This past Sunday My Father, my wife and I held a memorial in celebration of my mothers life. Who passed away at 63 years old and married to my father of 36 years. The warmth and understanding that Ruben and his family extended to my own family is beyond words, their generosity was from a place of genuine respect and regard for not only a family in grief but a family that wanted to try and convey to those who would be in attendance a celebration for the life of a woman whose heart reflected values of their own. Very GOOD PEOPLE!!! They were so awesome and accommodating and we were treated like people who were grieving the loss of a dearly loved one and not as a paycheck. When our time ran over Ruben personally contacted me and said we were fine. I cant thank him and his family enough.

La Gala Banquet Hall is the PERFECT venue for any occasion! The hall is spacious, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The owner Ruben was very accommodating and available to help. La Gala sponsored the Celebration of Life for our beloved mom. Our mother touched the lives of many people so we had a great turnout. ALL of our guests were very complimentary about the beauty of the hall. Thank you Ruben for allowing us to use this fantastic space! I didnt know what to expect. When I walked in....OMG what a BEAUTIFUL interior. I was there for a sweet 16 and its probably one of the most beautiful sweet 16s Ive ever been too. This place is definitely a hidden gem by far. Would love to have an event there and will also recommend it to people.

Went there for a Quinceanera and had a great time celebrating with family and friends. Beautiful lighting and the sound system had me impressed. Security was on point and the food was high quality. I wonder if they have any dates available for a Christmas party? My niece found them on TikTok so they stay pretty active on social media. Will be back!

I have to give a big thank you to La Gala Banquet Hall. We had a theme event and it required so much. So much time and planning was put in by my family. Not only did Ruben and Lala allow us so much extra time so that we could really see our vision fill their already beautiful venue but they also went beyond in lending us material and giving us suggestions. You can tell these people really care about their customers. I just can’t imagine any other venues out there that would have done what they did. And from what I hear they do it day in and day out. Why go anywhere else ? We had 250 guests with plenty more room.

Picked this place to have daughters baby shower. They are very detailed. Helpful with making everything you want for your gathering come to fruition! La la is the bomb and so is Ruben! Need a spot for an event la gala is one stop shop!

We had my MILs memorial this past Sunday.Its a great location and convenient.The restroom are nice.. Im very picky about choosing a venue with decent restrooms.The kitchen was nice and spacious great for hosting a large crowd. The venue is spacious and you do not feel overcrowded. We had very nice and enjoyable Sunday reminiscing about my beloved mother in law.

My experience was amazing..Reuben and his family took great care of me and my guest with first class treatment...my night was beautiful exactly what I expected...our guest had so much fun...we were not rushed and the customer service was excellent...Im soooooo glad I gave them a chance...covid messed our wedding plans up last year but this was our year....thanks again Reuben....more photos to come...

We used the hall for my mothers Memorial Celebration. She passed away from COVID-19, so it has been a difficult time for us. I cant express how grateful I am that we held the event at La Gala. Everything was so beautiful and there was plenty of space for safety. I highly recommend La Gala to anyone for any event. Ruben and his family (owners of the hall) will take care of you! They are such good-hearted people- I cant say enough good things about them. If they can make this happen with a funeral, they can do it with any event! You will not be disappointed.

Outside parking was dirty. There was stuff in kitchen left around counters that we were not supposed to use or wed be charged. Like paper towels, paper plates, plastic forks/spoons, etc. We couldve used the space all that took up. They did do a great job in decorating the place. But we felt like we were closely monitored.

Lagala Hall is the spot. Was here for a wedding and had a blast. Great food and service.

First when you are at a party and your shy but want to dance, they cant because your lighting was so bright no on wanted to get up and dance. Then when the DJ was asked to play certain music it was mostly ignored. No one felt hyped to dance and the music was mostly older stuff, slow and boring. Then we were charged $6 a small pitcher of ice and $3.50 per small bottle 8 oz of cranberry juice because its BYOB but you had no set ups other than that and no one could bring there own. This on top of the amount of money the hall cost to rent. This is just my opinion of my experience, now I will say it was a nice hall and it was clean.

In March we celebrated my daughter’s beautiful Quince here. Everything came out beautiful love the service the owners did and amazing job with everything.

Very clean place as well and with covid going on I actually did my daughters sweet16th. They had mask and hand sanitizer as well. I highly recommend this place. Where do I begin? So my spouse and I where seeking for a venue to have our wedding. It became a little discouraging because of time frame and we couldn’t seem to find what we were looking for. So I began to randomly search on Facebook market for venues and I ran across La Gala Banquet Hall. I was so impressed by the photos I saw of precious events I couldn’t wait to show it to my fiancé . Keep in mind my spouse to be was out of town so we virtually came into agreement. I scheduled an appointment to view the property I loved it. I walked in to a cleaning crew mopping floors and handling business that was definitely a plus for me. The parking lots a huge the entrance was a luxurious look I knew the limos would look fantastic. The bridal suite was so personal and intimate. The venue is super clean and spacious. My hugest concern was the kitchen and restroom I believe this both are very essential well the kitchen was very good exactly what was needed the restrooms were huge very sanitary with huge mirrors just what ladies would love. I love that there are two passage ways to restroom it helps avoid over crowding. I loved the bar we were allowed us access although we served no liquor by choice .

If I could give La Gala Banquet Hall along with Reuben and his mom more than 5 stars, I would. Not only is the facility a beautiful space, but the professionalism experienced by me and my fiancé was without question exceptional. The journey to having our wedding ceremony was a long one due to COVID-19. We initially were scheduled to have our ceremony on March 21, 2020. That was the very week, the Governor assessed statewide closures. I am sure you can imagine the stress and disappointment that came along with the closures. From the moment we were forced to make changes, Reuben was extremely helpful and flexible with us finding a date that would accommodate both parties.In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, La Gala Banquet Hall implemented many changes to ensure the safety of their customers and guest. These increased safety measures provided an extra level of security and alleviated some of the stress of my big day. There are so many things done so graciously by Reuben and his mom to make this one of the best experiences of our lives.Our wedding came and went without a hitch. The day was a great celebration of love with family and friends. The entire experience was a beautiful. It is no doubt that Reuben and La Gala Banquet Hall contributed greatly to the success of the day.If you are looking for elegance at a fair price along with owners who care about people, look no further. Well if youre wanting something quick to have a quince, birthday, or shower this may be the spot for you. But for more elegant affairs, not my choice. Their slogan says they take pride in their establishment and their clients simce the 90s. But the staff is unorganized at times, the owner Lala is rude and doesnt have customer service when dealing with people, the venue could use some remodeling on the interior (i.e. stage, drapes (stained, satin, and brown), murals on the walls-not sure what they are, bar area, and restrooms). And the location sits on a busy street so photos outside of the venue would not work. I deal with venues often and this would have to be my least favorite.

This hall is beautiful from driving up to the front doors then entering and seeing all the way Mr Longoria and staff has beautified this building is jaw dropping amazing. Everyone in my party we’re in awe the way the set up was and is. And even threw is pandemic the staff set up the table for social distancing which was not a issue cause we still had enough room for everyone. All I can say is WOW!! My school had our Holiday Party here, and the outcome was everything and MORE! Ruben was a pleasure to work with and was flexible with us from the start. We celebrated our daughters “15” @ La Gala this past May. Booking this venue was everything we wished for in making a memorable birthday for our daughter! The staff was very helpful and flexible and met our expectations to the fullest. 8 months later and we are still getting compliments on how nice, big & perfect the venue was. Definitely recommend this venue for any memorable event! The space, decor, staff & pricing are perfect.

I just had my wedding 1/1/2020 and it was absolutely spectacular. I couldnt have asked for a better wedding. The hall was gorgeous and the package plans offered by Ruben made everything so simple. Definitely the best deal in town to help you achieve a stress free wedding.

Had my brothers graduation party and it was spacious for the size party we had. Spacious parking and huge dance floor. They let us come in and set up to how we wanted. We didnt have any issues and everyone at the party had a great time.

We had an event this past weekend at La Gala that was a great success. The ballroom was decorated elegantly. The staff was friendly and on time. The use of the kitchen facilities was very convenient and clean. We will definitely be returning for future events.

The venue is a very beautiful place. The owner was very polite. Offered a lot for the amount of the facility. I had my 60th birthday party there both my guest and I were very satisfied. I would use the venue again. Very nicely operated. The only thing I paid for a bartender and they sold ice buckets for $6.00. The bartender was not a friendly person. Next time I rent I dont want a bartender. Other that it is a very clean and spacious venue.

I liked the decorations and the dance floor is big. BUT the restrooms have no locks, it smells and I saw bugs! The bar has no wine....only beer and set ups. Parking lot is dark. No lighting...be careful!

I had my mothers 75th birthday party at this lovely establishment. Ive driven by it at least a thousand times through the years and Im so glad that I finally stopped in to say hello. Ruben and Lala went above and beyond to make sure that our event was just perfect. I cant say enough about how this hard-working family exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be hosting future events at La Gala.

When my sister passed away earlier this year, we found ourselves having to put together a gathering in her honor. We were in need of a location that would allow us to accommodate all of our needs including the ability to serve food and drinks to the many friends and family that wanted to attend and pay their respects. We had a week to put this together while still working on the other logistics associated with my sisters passing. Ruben Longoria and his staff went literally above and beyond to make this process very easy for us. Whether it was deciding on and purchasing the food, beverages, flatware, and even arranging for a required security guard, they were there to help. Everyone was so friendly and courteous to work with. This lifted a heavy burden off our familys shoulders.When the day of the event came we could not believe how beautiful the hall looked. It was a perfect representation of everything my sister loved. The event went off wonderfully and served as a beautiful celebration of her life. The La Gala Banquet Hall was the perfect venue and my entire family are deeply thankful to Ruben and his staff for their commitment to making the event as special as it was. They clearly have a passion and commitment for what they do and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to plan a special event in the future.

This was the first big event I ever had to plan and I must say I could not have picked a better place, Everyone was so wonderful. They made sure my daughters day was perfect. I assisted the tennis team from MacArthur HS secure a venue for their end of year celebration. Mr Ruben was very detailed about the whole venue process; setup, microphone, projector, kitchen, and all details about the event. Thank s to him, our reception was a success.

I had my wedding at this hall. The set up was beautiful, but there def could be some changes made for future people to enjoy all theyre money invested. The table for my wedding party was not large enough for all of them to sit so I did not get the ideal pictures I wanted of them all together. The lady that did my flower arrangements and bouquets/corsages/bout. etc, well my flower arrangements were pretty but I was very disappointed to know she never made my toss bouquet, my moms corsage fell apart before the ceremony even started, and all my bouquets/bout. were WRONG!! Saddening to say we shopped for these items together I sent her 3 emails of how each should look and the day of they were completely different and not what I had ordered. I called her and texted her various times when my moms fell apart and she ignored me...HORRIBLE!! Lets not talk about the DJ who had my music for 3 months then all of a sudden the night of the wedding he has none. Thank GOD for my choreographer Micah he was my life saver he took my ceremony music, even when having it the DJ STILL played the wrong song as we were walking out. After our skit turns out the DJ had no more of my music. We payed so much money for this and I def dont recommend this place to anyone who wants things to go right. I payed for all the food after 9 pm they told me it wasnt mine anymore, on my wedding day having to dispute that I payed hundreds of dollars for it, def was uncalled for. I even told the owner she didnt respond to any of this because she already got my money and she was done with me! If I wouldnt have paid my thousands of dollars I would have gotten a refund the day I caught her talking behind my back!

Wanted to leave a review so I had to give it one star, if I had a choice I would have given it negative stars.This place SUCKS!!! Do not recommend this place to anyone. First of all had dinner set for a certain time and then after that time was up all the food and ice that we purchased had been taken away and locked up by the owner. If they were hungry we would have feed them instead they lock it up so they could have something to eat for the week. Then we asked if we could have some of the ice that we purchased separatly from the price of the hall and we were told no. This is a hall that is about sticking it to you after you pay for the hall they want to make more money off of you. They even charge you for a single cup($1) that you could purchase at the dollar store(12 ea= $1). Please..Please beware if you plan on having your event here!! Read the contract twice maybe three times and confirm what you can and cannot do they will change at last minute notice.
