Mid-size place to have a party with your most closed family and friends.

The place is beautiful and has very large potential to grow, most of the staff was very nice professional and did an outstanding job, though me as a dj that was privately hired by the bride and groom they have alot of rules that limit you to really do what you got to do. For example you cant use bass with your music. Also you dont really have much space to set up your equipment so if you can taje a small set up but other than that this place is nice elegant and the food is great.

I wanted to thank Shena and her staff for making our special day even more memorable! Our wedding and reception were held at Demers Banquet Hall in Houston. I can honestly say it was one of the most Amazing nights!! The venue inside is gorgeous, the owner & staff were great, and the catering was delicious. Our guests enjoyed the whole night dancing. My friends and family haven’t stopped talking about how great the service was. I will definitely recommend Demers Banquet Hall to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Houston. Thank you all so so much for helping us celebrate our love.

Great place.Criminals don’t take a holiday or get a day off. One must always remember that you can be the next victim.  Preventing crime is often simple as realizing that it can happen to you and taking basic precautions to prevent it.The most important thing to know when coming here is to DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE.IF YOU DO PEOPLE WILL BREAK INTO YOUR VEHICLE, and FIND WHERE YOU HID THEM.DONT BE STUPID AND THINK IT WONT HAPPEN TO YOU.ITS NOT IF......ITS A MATTER OF WHEN. And if you have left stuff in your vehicle, and nothing has happened yet. Then you have been very fortunate.** Dont be a victim.Dont bring cash,credit cards, social security cards,or anything you dont want to disappear.PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS and you should be fine.AGAIN if you FAIL TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE and your vehicle gets broken into, dont look for a Pity party for your own stupidity.Most of the property stolen is portable, or not affixed to the vehicle.  Everything from GPS units, radar detectors, purses, briefcases, phones, money - you name it.Since most property is portable, most of the offenses are preventable.  Heres how:TAKE your property with you when you leave your vehicle.  For items with mounts (IE radar detectors and GPS units), remove the mounts also and take with you.Hint:  Suction cup mounts will often leave a ring on the window.  Thieves will look for this, and even if the GPS/Radar Detector (or whatever) isnt there, theyll break in and look around inside the vehicle.  So, clean off those rings before leaving your vehicle.LOCK your vehicle.  Sure, someone can break the window and get inside, but if youve left nothing visible inside, theres little incentive to do so.  A (potential) thief will usually just move on to an easier target.   If the vehicle is unlocked, however, a thief often will take a look inside.  So, lock your vehicle when you park.Taking the following steps in protecting your property and to discourage would-be criminals from committing auto burglaries:Do not leave valuable items visible in your car.Close all windows and lock all doors before leaving your vehicle.Park in well-lit, heavily populated areas.Trust your instincts.  If something doesn’t feel right, find another place to park.Avoid parking next to occupied vehicles.Be aware of your surroundings.Make a copy of your registration and insurance, and keep them in your wallet or purse.  Then remove all forms of identification from your vehicle.  Anyone with permission to drive your vehicle should also have a copy of the registration and insurance with them to furnish to the police if necessary.Do not leave garage door openers in parked vehicles.Take note of emergency/pay phones near where you have parked, in case you need to use them.If you see any suspicious activity or individuals, please contact the police immediately when you feel safe to do so by dialing 9-1-1 (from cell phones).Don’t think your dark tinted windows will hide your valuables. Thieves often use flashlights to see through tint.If you are parking your vehicle for several days check on it periodically.

I had my wedding there in 2016! I thought I was getting a great deal but I ended up spending more money to add to the decor. They were friendly initially but after putting down my 1st payment, communication from the staff declined. Too many rules/restrictions. They fail to explain all of these at the beginning. Was told they would work with me but in the end they did not. My deposit of $300 was kept because they claim someone wrote on one of their table covers. This info wasnt communicated to me right away. I kept trying to get in touch with their staff member for my deposit. He wouldnt return my calls until weeks later. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

We used Demers Banquet Hall for a company party. The event was a Las Vegas theme. The decor was like being at the hold Sand in Vegas itself. The food was outstanding, and the banana fosters station was great! The staff was very attentive and the party was a hit for our employees. We will be booking again this year.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The event planners are very unorganized and fail to communicate with one another. Don’t get me wrong the venue is beautiful however I would never have another event here ever again. Please be aware of Lana, she is extremely unprofessional, untrustworthy and has no idea of how a business should be ran. All she is worried about is making money and has no sense of what customer service should be. She provides inaccurate information and has a serious attitude. If you decide to take your chances and use this venue please keep a paper trail of emails, receipts, and etc because they most definitely will give you the run around receiving your deposit back. Again this place is a nightmare.

This place has one of the nicest venues I have yet to come across, especially for the prices they have but a few years back my sister had thrown her party there and I wasnt a fan of their staff. So when a friend had explained to me she was throwing her wedding there I tried to convince her to go in a different direction. Of course she loved the venue and didnt take my advice, lol gotta love friends. Little to my surprise though they really got things together there. Im assuming they have a new staff team because I didnt see anyone from the previous occasion. What a relief, well anyways I give props to the new coordinator Adrienne there she really handled everything in such a prompt smooth manner. Not only did she make everything for my friend exactly the way she wanted it. She gave a her a great price and stood by her word.she also was there for the event to insure everything was smooth and nothing went wrong.Now the food that was catered was just simply amazing and they have a lovely cake vendor named Azarah who did the most elegant cake for the event and the cake was actually delicious. So if you do happen to go with your event there I would definitely ask about their menu and Azarahs cakes.I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

My graduation party at Demers was a success. The high ceiling and dangling crystal centerpieces set the atmosphere. The décor was just like I planned with the coordinator. The waitstaff was professionally dressed and came around to all the guests with appetizers. The food tasted great. I had a great time from beginning to end. What I liked best is all the space in the main hall and outdoors. We had the patio and pool area decorated with full tables and chairs as well. When I was looking online for a banquet hall in houston, I had no idea that Demers Banquet Hall was down the street from my house. I will recommend this Houston banquet hall for any occasion.

Wow wow wow!!! What a Phenomenal team at Demers lead by Adriean!!! You dream of your wedding for years for it to go by so fast. So I knew the venue was gonna be an important part of my big day. I first ran into this location online when my sister was getting married two and half years ago. Unfortunately we couldnt book with them at the time. but I never forgot about the place. And I saw it a year ago for the first time as I started planning my wedding. It was love at first sight. Needless to say Demers was the first and last venue I looked at!!!. Adriean and Karen were handling my event. They were more than amazing, patient and accommodating. The places looked like a dream when I walked in Friday evening for last minute rehearsal, and it was magical on my wedding day. That image will never leave my mind. Thank you Adrien for bringing my dream to life. Im thinking of future events I can have there. I feel like I have family there that would make sure I was happy. Thank you. Not impressed at all from what I got. Food was good, the venue coordinator Karen was friendly, but too young to be in charge of something as important as a wedding. I think everything was overpriced. Chairs that were suppose to be new were wobbly and unstable, cake was hideous---tasted good but ugly, and you know how important that is for pictures, etc. I never got the uplighting that was promised and was told afterwards that this was because it didnt look good so beware, they will make executive decisions for you and without you. No paper towels or toilet paper in the bathrooms, leaky roof, building was hot and when we asked for the temperature to be lowered we were met with a big fat no. And when the venue coordinator is under pressure, which is kind of expected at a wedding, be prepared that she will have a pretty nasty attitude. My advice: go and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Friendly staff they go above and beyond to please the customer. The food is really good and fresh!
