One star is too high but it’s the option I needed to select to post this review. I’m not one to post reviews but doing so in an attempt to save other families from more heartache and from wasting their money. We hired Seth on behalf of a family member and he was a referral so we thought we were in good hands. He filed a motion for appeal but then we never heard from him until our family member received notification on the outcome in prison. We still thought he was waiting on information from the court. We were never updated that he got the records back, never briefed of his findings and he never briefed us of options. He simply took our money and filed paper work with the courts saying there was no grounds for an appeal without picking up the phone and calling the people who paid him. While we knew it was an uphill battle we were at the very least deserving of a phone call. His lack of regard for human life and our family as one of clients is appalling and something we never would expect from a practicing attorney. I feel very sad for every other family he is representing.

Seth Kretzer filed an appeal brief with one argument petitioning the court for relief in the Defendants name without ever discussing the case, communicating, or meeting with the defendant. Unethical. According to Texas Lawyer, Mr. Kretzer is fighting for the Constitution and his clients. Apparently he simply talks a good game, typical.
