She is terribly unresponsive once she gets her money. She gives misleading information. Losing your business is bad enough thru covid but then to trust someone to do a job and it turns into a nightmare as well. We didn’t even end up filing because her advice was wrong. Now she won’t even allow us any of the retainer fees back. She never did anything for our case in the first place. Don’t use her at all!

She was very responsive in the beginning...As soon as she was paid, it was a nightmare trying to reach her. Everything is done by her Interns, which seem to be part-time students. She doesnt do any of the paperwork herself, relied on me to do much of the research with no guidance from her, advised us to file for personal bankruptcy as well without explaining the ramifications...Now that we backed out of the personal, she refuses to return our deposit of $10,000 saying that it was Earned by her Interns filling out the paperwork when in fact it was ME that filled it all out and merely reviewed by her Intern....She will take your money and disappear!

- Doesn’t return calls, texts, emails- Says she didn’t receive emails- Misses appointments- Doesn’t give you all the information needed- Very last minute in deadlinesI’m still trying to finalize my case and get it closed and I have not heard from her since January. Many unreturned texts and messages.She will cause unnecessary stress during an already stressful time.**update**Funny how reviews can get people to do their job.Now she is lying about something the trustee supposedly said. This is not the first time I caught her in a lie. She also lied saying the bank my car loan is through had been emailing her daily. When I called the bank they said they emailed her once.

Jessica Hoff is very capable, very honest and really good at her job. She was with me every step of the way in my Chapter 13 case. Even over the 3 years, she was always available to answer questions for me and to help with anything she could. I highly recommend her. As a matter of fact, I have done so on a few occasions. Our case was complicated, and there were numerous issues out of our and Jessica’s control. I’m assuming a case doesn’t drag out as long as ours did. She handled every obstacle, and I’m extremely grateful to have had her as our attorney. I truly feel that Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our case was confirmed. She has a warm personality, and I enjoyed each interaction I had with her. I was never not met with a smile and most times a hug. Her office was easy to find and was comfortable and inviting. There was not a single time(and there were more than a few) where we went to court and we weren’t prepared and understood what was happening, and I always felt secure in Jessica and her competency. She is very knowledgable, and assertive, especially in the courtroom. I would definitely recommend, and if I ever found myself in this situation again, I would use her in the future.

Non-responsive once she gets your money.

I have never experienced such horrible service!!! At first she immediately answered phone calls and we set up an appointment she seemed very helpful until I paid her $2200 to file paperwork for me and then she stopped answering phone calls text messages and emails. The little contact I have had with her she has been blaming me for missed appointments that we never even set up. She has missed several appointments though and is very mean and rude and attacks me her paying customer when I try to get anything resolved. DO NOT USE JESSICA HOFF. SHE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!! I’m still in the process with her trying to get her to do her job and file my paperwork or give me a refund.

I appreciate the help you gave me and my family in answering our business questions. I know it wasnt quite related to bankruptcy law, but thank you so much for the advice. If I ever need legal help again, I will certainly call your office.
