I contacted this business to have my new vehicle wrapped with Xpel film. I spoke with John on Thursday and he said hed send me a quote (took all my information). By Tuesday, I had still not received the quote. I called back and he finally emailed the quote. I replied back to the email with questions regarding the quote and 7 days have passed with no response. A follow-up phone call yesterday resulted in a lady taking a message and no response back so far. I was optimistic to use this business for my PPF based upon the reviews, but my personal experience is that its too difficult to get in touch with this business and have questions answered or receive responses back. Ill be looking to have my PPF completed elsewhere.

John Grey and his staff provide excellent customer service. John personally oversee the work. I took my Tesla for Tinting, Ceramic Coat, Paint Protection Film and Durable Tire shine. He was able to correct scratches in my clear coat from a poor Tesla Service center complimentary car wash. He has a network of dependable high quality resources to assist with issues regarding the appearance of your vehicle. He was able to send two expensive tire rims for repair saving me about $700 vs replacing them. I am very happy and the quality of work is worth the 45 minute drive cross town to have him and his staff do high quality work. You will see a wide variety of cars from High End Bentley’s and Lamborghini’s to Kia. Every customer get personal service.

I cant say enough about John and his team - they do a bang-up professional job and are easy to work with! I had the team protect my 144 high roof Sprinter 4x4 van when it was brand new. I did a fair amount of research, including visiting 3 of the top shops in my area, before deciding to go w/ Gulf Coast. I had Expel PPF applied on the front end, hood, A-pillars, above windshield and on the rear side flares; Feynlab heal lite ceramic coating on the entire van; Expel ceramic tint on all glass; and Gtechniq coating on the windshield. John gave me solid candid recommendations and his team was transparent throughout the process. They really did a great job and Im very impressed w/ how water sheets off the entire van. It wasnt cheap, but it was fair - and I feel good about the quality of the products and the application work. Thanks Gulf Coast Auto Shield / Detail - well done!!

Finally had ceramic tint applied to our white Model 3! Communication with owner John Grey was easy and productive, while Miguel (spelling?) did a great job of explaining all tint options before we proceeded. I am very happy with the quality of work, price, and experience with the crew. Their garage inventory clearly indicates a high-end clientele, but you would never know the difference. They treat everyone, particularly Tesla owners, like a million bucks. Hopefully the wife lets me return soon for chrome delete!edit: returned for chrome delete and ceramic wax coating 1-year later. Went over several non-black chrome delete options with John and am very happy with selection we ended with--it looks better than I anticipated. Excellent service, communication, work, and support!!

Great job on window tinting with no up selling. When I started calling around asking places about tinting a Model 3 Tesla every place instantly quoted the most ridiculously overpriced tint they could (some upwards of $1300). John on the other hand actually suggested not wasting money to use expensive tint on windows where it provides no benefit They finished the tint quickly and even provided a loaner while working on it so I could get back to work.

I was recommend here by a colleague of mine. Got in touch with the owner, he made an availability for me to come in the following weekend to get my car tinted. When I came in, they explained to me the different purposes for the tints they carry and didn’t try to upsell at all, which made me comfortable.I only had the sides and back tinted (30%) and they did a great job. Looks even darker than I thought but visibility is great and you can really tell a difference with the heat rejection. Fantastic work and lifetime warranty for the XPEL window tint!Ps: bring cash so you won’t have to pay Uncle Sam.

Excellent shop. The guy who runs the show is crazy nice and very available. You can tell he does a good job just by seeing the masterpieces of cars that fill his shop every day. He has competitive pricing for high end treatments like PPF with ceramic coatings afterwards included, less than $5k for full coverage of a Tesla Model X. They even had a guy help me get a replacement camera installed on it (not an easy thing to get done for a Tesla outside of a Tesla Service Center).Would recommend to anyone who really cares about their car.

Im a very detailed, picky person when it comes to work done on my vehicles. I do most things myself unless its something I cannot and requires an expert such as Xpel PPF installation. John and his team go above and beyond. After a recommendation from a good friend who has had 4 cars PPFd with them including a Dodge Demon and seeing these cars after completion, I knew that when I got a new vehicle this is where I would go. Ive had clearbras installed in the past and there were always issues...waviness, orange peel, asymmetry, not covering to the edges, etc. I took my new Tundra here and had the bumper, fenders, headlights, fogs, emblem all wrapped. Even with my high standards, they far exceeded them. John is easy to work with, understands that people who spend a lot of money to put clear bras to protect their cars can be picky, and very welcoming. The same goes to his team. Work was done promptly and on top of that, he wanted to see the truck in a week to do any final adjustments once the lubricant dried and it settled. And then they perfected any imperfections. I drove from Cypress (40+ minutes) to get the work completed and would gladly do so again. Highly recommended!

I received top notch service from John and his expert technicians on my 2016 XTS Cadillac that I recently purchased. My car had these swirl marks in the paint. The young lady thats part of Johns crew did an exceptional job on the step 1 paint correction and ceramic wax coating. All the reviews here are spot on. John and his crew make a great team. The prices were very fair and the quality of service is excellent. When you visit the shop you easily get a sense of the pride the whole team has with how clean the whole shop is and as measured by the beautiful cars people entrust with the team there. Everything can be found there from your bread and butter Corollas and Mazdas to all of the exotics. For all of you Tesla owners, that is one of Johns teams specialties.I had PPF (paint protection film) installed and full window tint installed on my Tesla Model 3.The window tint was positioned with the most precise edges cut going right to the edge of the glass. John walked me through the options but as others have said recommended that I go with a combination of tint grades in order to not waste money installing top-of-the-line tint everywhere. I had the top-of the-line (XR Plus) ceramic tint installed only on the windshield where much of the heat enters, but used the more economical XR ceramic tint on the remaining windows. Additionally I had a full front PPF installed to cover the hood, mirrors, front quarter panels and bumper to not have to worry about those otherwise guaranteed rock chips in the paint.You can end your search for a shop now - just go here. I honestly should have given John my first review 4 years ago when he took care of one of my cars, since then I continue to go back and have him protect whichever car is my latest and greatest. The service is great, the options plentiful...GCAS really is able to do almost anything from detailing, xpel paint protective film, window tinting, ceramic coating, minor paintwork, caliper painting, wheel repair, etc. etc. John warranties all of his work if there is ever an issue. Ive been happy to see GCAS grow from a small operation to quite a large one. It really means John is doing something right to keep growing his business. Youll be well taken care of here. This review is long overdue.A friend of mine, William Heartsill, referred me over to John to have my wifes Christmas gift (2019 Porsche Cayenne) clear brad. I met with John and instantly knew this was the guy who I would entrust the vehicle to. Hes knowledgeable, extremely honest, and wont try to upsell you on things you dont need. I have entrusted my TESLA Model S to John and Gulf Coast Auto Shield since I purchased her several years ago. John and his crew have installed Xpel protective film on the entire car, Opticoat on the entire car, Exoshield windshield protectant film, and Blackvue 750S 1080p front and rear cameras, and now replaced my black calipers with red calipers.When someone hit my car in a minor accident, I called John who recommended an EXCELLENT collision repair shop.Once the repair was done, his crew picked up the car from the repair shop and re-wrapped the repaired area and coated it with the ceramic coating. He also drove the car to TESLA Service center for my maintenance appointment. This is way above what any company will do for their customers. But guess what? This is the kind of customer service that you can expect if you are a patron of this business.I call John for any and everything concerning my car. I kid you not. I am sure there are some other things I can have John and his crew do for me. I am always looking to have something new done.What I love the most about John and his crew is their PROFESSIONALISM and the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE that they provide.
