Are they perfect? No. Do they try hed to be? Definitely. Can work on a couple of things like letting you know when they can actually work on your vehicle instead of holding it for 3 days before even looking at it......BUT..that is minor compared to the excellent work they do.Very professional, friendly, and provide excellent work. Prices were best around! They are incredibly busy but I still highly recommend them.

I was referred to Browns Auto Repair by another shop after they discovered a few things wrong with my transmission. They said I needed a specialist in the field, and thats exactly what I got at Browns. Everyone I encountered was respectful and knowledgeable. They diagnosed my needs an explained them to me in a way that I could understand. They did everything they could to work with me in regard to meeting my needs as far as the repairs. Unfortunately, I wont be repairing my vehicle due to the cost versus the value of the vehicle itself, but I will continue to use Browns Auto Repair for any future needs with my next vehicle. This is my second review of Browns Auto Repair. Patrick is awesome. I brought my truck in for minor trans warranty work. He is always professional and honest. His prices are a little below typical market value (Im in the automotive industry). I highly recommend this shop and Patrick. Honest repairs at an honest price. My problem with my car was a unique situation. Wire somehow got wrapped around my driveshaft and fuel tank module. Browns diagnosed the problem have me a reasonable estimate and fixed my car in a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend the for any related automobile issues.

Jeremy with Transmission Wholesalers overhauled my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan transmission with 148000 miles on it for $5000 less than the dealer wanted to replace it. Jeremy delivered what he promised! When a few parts were delayed, Jeremy called me & said will be a few more days to get the vehicle back to me than when originally promised. The problem was a supply issue beyond Jeremy’s control. I appreciated him letting me know as soon as he knew there would be a delay. I needed a brake job, oil change, and my airbag light is on. I needed this all fixed and all but the airbag light was fixed (it was too expensive to get fixed at this particular point, but will go back to have them fix it.) The price was really fair, and the quality of work was great. Very friendly men here and willing to answer any questions.

I live in Tomball area. So I took my truck into Browns Auto Repair because it was near by where I live. And all the employees were helpful answering all my questions and getting my truck processed for a transmission rebuild and I was given a ride back home by an employee there and picked up 2 days later after my truck was complete and brought back to the shop.. Transmission went out on my 2008 F150. A friend recommended Browns Auto and they were great. Truck is back on the road at a very fair price compared to other quotes I received. Although they are across town from where I live I will be using them again on my other vehicles if ever needed.

This is the second time that I have used Browns Auto Repair for repairs on my truck. I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. They always seem to be honest and fair in their prices. Its hard to find a good mechanic but I believe Browns Auto Repair to be the elusive good mechanic that people always have a hard time finding. Would give more stars if I could.

Have used these guys for a decade. Year’s ago Brown’s Automotive helped me when I needed help the most. They replaced the transmission on my F150 that I could not afford to lose. Not only did they do the repairs at a reasonable price but they let me pay in a couple payments a few days apart. I have continued to use them and have never regretted taking my vehicles to Brown’s Automotive. I left there today bragging on how much value I got from their work.

These guys are great. Answered all our questions. Rebuilt entire 95 Mustang transmission at a reasonable price. Had us in and out in 2 working days. Ask about the Mach 1 Mustang out front. Jermy likes to tell that story!

This auto repair is wonderful! I had a really high quote from a neighboring shop. It was suggested that I take my car to Browns. They took great care of me. They were honest and I was back on the road for 2/3 less the cost. Oh and it also helps that they are always happy, laughing and having fun when I go in.

Very professional. Stuck in Texas. Wanted to drive back to Vt. They rebuilt my transmission for a fair price and I immediately drove it 1,900 miles with no issues.

Brown’s customer experience was phenomenal. They were realistic in their estimate of time, but also incredibly fast. Had a transmission rebuilt in a 2012 Suburban, and it was completed within a couple days. They were upfront about everything, and couldn’t give them a better review.

On Friday September 25, 2020, I dropped off my car at Browns Auto Repair stating my front right tire wheel bearing on my Nissan Rogue was still making noise after they replaced it on August 6th and still within my 12 month warranty. For two weeks Ive been going back-and-forth to the shop numerous times showing them videos and telling them to please check the wheel bearing. They stated they still did not hear the noise coming from the wheel bearing and told me that it was coming from others parts of the car with an estimate of $4,000 to repair. I insisted that they keep looking into the wheel bearing and I even had four of their mechanics ride with me at different times. I decided to look at the front right tire wheel bearings myself and found the the back plate of the wheel bearing was loose. I shot another video showing this problem and took it back to the shop. I dropped off my car again after showing them the video of the back plate of the wheel bearings being loose. Finally on October 6 they acknowledged that it was the wheel bearing and that they would replace it. Two days later I picked up my car and drove it around, and sure enough it was the wheel bearing after all because the noise was no longer there. I dont understand how they could not hear it, but myself and another mechanic were able to and find its origin. Thanks to my determination to discover where the noise was coming from I was able to find it, which saved me from having to pay nearly $4,000 in repairs. This experience has caused inconvenience, stress and headaches to both my wife and I.

I contacted Browns Auto on Saturday and spoke to Patrick after I had received an outrageous estimate from Tom Peacock Cadillac a day earlier. The estimate ranged from $1,600 to $2,900 for replacement of engine mount and two transmission mounts, a wheel alignment as well as various flushes.This didnt sound right to me. How could a 2013 Cadillac with only 14,000 miles need such extensive repairs? I bought this car brand new. I arrived at Browns earlier this morning and explained the situation to Steve Smith, the service manager. Steve immediately had a mechanic check for the issues Tom Peacock found wrong with my vehicle.Browns mechanic could find none of these issues, including engine vibration that the dealer claimed they heard. This took less than an hour even though they were very busy.If you are looking for an honest auto repair shop, do not hesitate to go to Browns Auto Repair. From now on I will be bringing my car here for any work, inspections etc. that needs to be done.Steve, Patrick you guys are fantastic. Thank you so much!

These guys are the best. State inspections,, sensor replacement, Oil change, window shield replacement, you name it and they do it. They’re a cool group of guys that are honest with services and estimates. I came here for a second quote on some service after a dealership told me a long list of things they needed to do to my car, when I went to browns they broke it down letting me know what really did need to be done and what was more elective and could wait. This is my go to place for auto services, highly recommend.

The guys who own and operate this business were open, honest, and great to get to know. They have my confidence, and I did have my service performed the day I visited Brown’s.

This is the best repair shop you wanna take your car.I was blessed with the information I received about this workshop, AKA transmission wholesalers. I visited this place after a dealership recommended that I needed replacements for both transmission and engine on my car, this exercise would not cost any less than $30k.Jeremy (owner of the repair shop) advised that I should allow him a few days to thoroughly diagnose the vehicle. They later found that I didnt need any replacement; transmission was rebuilt and some wiring wes fixed. They told ne the engine was perfect as against what the dealership suggested.. Just a few dollars above $5k put back my car on the road.They are very trustworthy. I will recommend them more than a million times.
